People’s Mission for Social Development is a trust under the leadership of District Library Council which is expected to develop into a popular movement, with the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala as Chief Patron and Honorable Minister for LSG as Patron, Honorable Rajya Sabha MP Dr. V. Sivadasan as Chairman , Sri T K Govindan Master as Convenor and Sri. P K Vijayan as Treasurer. There is an advisory committee with the presence of stalwarts including renowned writer T Padmanabhan and other luminaries from various fields. A technical advisory committee consisting of academics including Prof. Gopinath Ravindran, former Vice Chancellor, Kannur University is constituted to guide the academic and technical aspects.
