I love how the sub version of Gav isn't just Lasko without the anxiety. He's still Gavin, he's still got that iconic Gavin voice, still got his values and views about treatment of incubi and succubi, still our lovable king. GOD I wish this episode had a continuation.

I'm so deeply invested in this audio. Despite it being an au and being under 20 minutes it just makes me love Gav even more. There's just something about this video that I probably won't be able to explain accurately enough, but here's the deal. Gavin was already my favorite character, like the whole playlist was something I could relate to, even freelancer, and now that there's this new version of this guy I can't help but notice it can only be redacted's art to keep what makes a character unique and add a flavour of another kind. I just find it fascinating that how much gavin energy this new version had because I've seen people trying to make alternate versions of characters and that always ends up in a totally new person that feels nothing like that original one. But this is gavin. It's just him and a bit of nerdy-ness or stuttering hasn't really changed the feeling we get from gavin. He feels so well written and real in my mind right now that I'm sure I'll know him even if I meet him in different universes or in disguise lol. Idk but it this video kinda proved once again that Erik is such a pro in creating characters itself, not just voice acting (which is another topic we'll get to another time)

This is such a fun concept and really goes a long way to show off Eric’s talent with character portrayal. I know I saw another comment already say how this Gavin still feels very much like himself instead of just another flavor of Lasko. It really genuinely feels like Gavin if he was a bit more sub leaning. Everything that makes him the sweet boy we love is still there. And I also love the AU implications of how he and FL meet and brings into question how certain events would unfold in this iteration of the world. On a far less controlled note, I need this incubus in every way. Is this going in my favs so I can find it again later? Maybe… don’t worry about it. But amazing work!!! Thank you for the meal~
