  • Multiple canals, idle zones, and locks on the Harris Chain in Central Florida make it time-consuming to get from one lake to another during a fishing tournament. During the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour event this May we launched from the Venetian Garden Ski Beach on the west side of Lake Harris and captured the entire run to Lake Griffin. If you need to make this run to or from a fishing spot, watch this video first. The lock holds 9 boats at one time so you may need to wait for a group to go through before you if there are a lot of boats heading that way at the same time as you. We made it in right under 1 hour running a top speed of 74mph in a Phoenix 921 Elite with a 250hp Suzuki SS.

What I liked in the BFL I was in as a Co was the order you got in the lock was the order you ran up the creek after. So if you pulled in and another boat just happened to exit before you for some reason those guys were gentleman to each other and let everyone get back in line 👍

Probably one of the most informative videos on the internet no sarcasm actually. Much better then watching fish the same areas all the local hot spots are always amazes me how half of you end up on them 👀actually I do know ive been with a so called pro that had all his waypoints from a local in the Toyota and it’s at every level! 😞 this guy was a bassmaster classic fisherman to never amazes me people will cheat in anything.

Takes a long time. Also depends on how crazy the Angler drives. Not that you would ever do that.
