Hi Marc. Just binge watched your Icelandic trip & loved it. No fuss, no bother, no expensive gimmicks. Keep doing what you're doing. Massive thumbs up.
You have probably worked this out by now, however I will mention it anyway. Try to balance the weight evenly each side to avoid bias on one side. Keep the heavy items on the bottom to keep the centre of gravity low. It might not be the most convenient but it will be for the best.

Hey thanks for tuning in and yeah definitely, if it wasn’t for the RUclips videos I would probably be good with the iPhone but anyways love flying the little drone, I always bring it anywhere.😄 cheers, Marc
I agree with the way you have done things Marc. So many people spend all their money on top of the line camping and cooking gear and don't leave enough money for gas or the trip itself. Simple pots and pans, a simple waterproof tent and comfortable sleeping bag and you're good. Why spend $600 on a tent when you can get away with $100. I have owned both and the $100 was just fine and if it wasn't, I have never been anywhere in the world I couldn't just buy something to replace it if it was horrible.
I cannot agree about the tent at all. If you go to Iceland with a cheap not-storm proof tent you are set up for some serious trouble and just gambling on the weather - Iceland is well known to have hefty storms that regularly destroy tents. Good luck when you are out in the highlands alone during such an event. Just because someone was lucky with the weather does not mean you should not be prepared. I have been to Iceland 18 times and would never go to the highlands without a solid tent.
@@torytrae1974 I mean the tent was alright. I think at some point any tent will just take off in Storm. 600€ or 100€. It’s a heavy wait single tent, I would have been alright and I also endured bad weather. But thanks for your input! Always appreciated 🙌🏼🤗 cheers, Marc
