If no one has mentioned this yet, Wyze has said they are planning user room labeling as well as spot cleaning (likely using a drag box like the no go selector).
Love these type of test. I think it's a great value for the price. I've had this vacuum for about 3 weeks now and my floors have never been cleaner and my allergies have also improved lol. I'm coming from an older "Bump and Go" Roomba 560. The debris you have on your floor in these test is an exaggerated amount I know & probably much more than the average person will have in their homes on a daily basis. If they scheduled this vacuum to run daily in the highest traffic areas of their home like you suggested, they shouldn't expect to see leftover debris as you see here. At least that has been my experience. I know that you're disappointed with it's performance on the hardwood, but this hasn't been my observation. Most of my main Living Area is hardwood and tile, and evey morning everything looks great (I set the vacuum to run at 4am daily). Crumbs from kitchen counters and the dining table that I just wipe straight to the floor the night before are gone the next morning and end up in the bin as well as the stray pieces of kibble the dogs leave all over the place ... Lol ... as well as dog hair and various other debris. Also are you running the beta version of the app. I am and I have access to the Map Editor available to me in the settings. I can split, merge, and rename rooms, you might want to check it out if you're not. If you are and still don't see it, it may be because the vacuum doesn't have the latest firmware 1.6.87. I don't know if it's been pulled or they're rolling it out incrementally. Anyways thanks for making these videos, they're fun to watch and informative.
I like mine so far . It’s my first vacuum so I have nothing to compare it to. After my initial mapping I removed my cats large bed so I can get it to vacuum underneath and it got confused. It wouldn’t go in the newly opened area and so I’m wondering if I should reset the map and set the cat bed area as a no go zone instead. That way I can remove the no go when I want it to actually go in that spot. Hope that makes sense. Love your videos btw. It’s been hard finding a good decent vacuum. I have an older home with w/w carpeting and lots of obstacles. I feel like most reviews and videos are in newer homes with hard wood/laminate flooring, open areas and low pile area rugs.
I dismantled my 595 to check why schudel button wasn't working, blow out all the dust and pushed in plugs reassembled and all started to work even sees out bad eye again. saw video how to fix docking trouble by added washers to front spindle raised it from sitting to far inside body. replaced tire treads and it will not quit. These roombas are tough as tanks and just will not stop giving me no reason to replace it
Thank for the all the information! Would you recommend this Roborock E4 over WYZE? Seems like from your text with E4 cleaned up good but was not navigating well. But WYZE navigation is good but not good on cleaning? Which one would you recommend for apartment?
I would say if you live in a huge place like his you’d benefit with Wyze. I love my E4 but I don’t live in a large home so it’s perfect. LIDAR is king and it seems wyze does well
If you take off the brush you think it’d get all the stuff on the wood floor? As I’m assuming it’s the reason stuff isn’t getting sucked up as it pushes it into an area that may have already been passed by. I just bought one of these still in box. I have 85-90% hardwood. I bought a Coredy 750 and I hated the cleaning pattern. So I had get something else. But I’m tryna stay at 250. 280 with tax. I’m gonna open it up and use it Today after work. But what’s the best for wood floor?
@AdamsTechReviews In your professional opinion, what is the best budget smart mop/vacuum robot? Looking to get my wife one for her birthday, and don't want her to be disappointed. Thanks!
Are the virtual walls disappearing? I ran 2 times and set walls up and each time they were gone the next time I went to run again. I did not let the vacuum completely recharge tho. I’m on my 3rd try right now.
@@AdamsReviews i wish would get it for $300 , it's closer to $700 CAD said and done. i was going to buy peoples used irobots with dead batteries to fix. i figured have 2 or 3 bounce around the house lol
Perhaps it is not in the full release yet but in the beta app underneath settings there is an option to go into the map editor where you can split rooms join rooms rename rooms. one of the sweet things about wyze is that they're always trying to push better software and often add user requested features even as products age.

Is it better now? Can you change the mapping and the room names?
Adam: (Accidentally spills something) Hey, I should include this mess in a robot vacuum test!
I'd love to see the multi-floor feature. For some reason its advertised as able to map multiple floors but I don't see that option in the app
Hi Adam, another great test. Awesome map that one 😀. Maybe that’s the best map vs price you paid for that vacuum. Well done. 👋👋🇵🇹🇵🇹
Upsetting. I just got this for 165 today. I also have a 100 moosoo 4 which was 100 bucks and does really well.
Just ordered a Neato D7, it’s not one you mention often. But I really love my wyze stuff

Best I have seen is the roomba s9+ by far and then I would say the roborock s5
Are the Roborock brushes (main/side) or HEPA filters interchangeable with this?
Maybe check dustbin and make sure that's not the cause of bad suction?
Like to see a review of the Tesvor S6. It has Lidar and 2700 pa with coupon it’s $250
Great vacuum! Problem is Wyze does not sell replacement batteries! If your out of warranty and your battery fails your robot becomes a door stop!
What!
If used on the 2nd floor, does it have a feature that prevents it from going (falling) down the stairs?
Yes...pretty much all robots have the drop sensor.

Hello
Hi!
The reason you have so much fruity pebble’s on the floor is because the bin got full way before it finished.
