  • (📹 7/4/2023) These are some pretty darn new and EPIC Otis Compass 360 elevators at the Marriott Chateau Champlain in Montreal QC. When I originally wanted to check this place out, I was expecting a conventional Otis system with the first ELD indicator I would've seen in person, but nope, these are brand new Otis Compass 360 elevators! The cabs are nice and they have MAD buttons on the inside which is a significantly better choice than the infamous MM3 buttons. It did take me a while to remember what floor I was on and I only have a limited experience understanding French, so it took me a few to properly select a floor. I did not do a handicap demonstration as it was a pain in the rear for me to understand the numbers (I know some French numbers, but the voice annunciator was making it difficult for me to understand).

This new mod isn't terrible but I do think it unnecessary at the exact same time and I'm definitely sad the bilingual Grandma voice is gone

These were actually pretty good. Too bad about the grandma voice being gone. I've seen overkill destination dispatch mods before such as this office building in McLean that has a four story TKE hydro on AGILE logic

These have been fully modded, that’s extremely disappointing, when they were Otis Series 4 they had the bilingual grandma voice

The former ones also had ELD indicators too

@@dmvelevatorsandmore yep, luckily i’ve been to this hotel a lot when the elevators were original since i don’t live far from Montreal but I’m super disappointed that they fully got modded while the original ones were still very functional and had no issues
