      @@MikeB128 I love vietnam stuff, but my main interest is the woodland era. Specifically late 80's-mid 90's. Last year I stumbled upon several sets of brand new original BDUs in medium regular. These things were beyond mint. Been trying to collect as much as I can from those days before that gets impossible to find too. Originals anyway.

    I usually have to settle with repro's because the x-large/long ones are hard to find. I recently found some 1st pattern repro's that I'm very satisfied with but would love original any pattern.

    Dunno where to post this question, but this might as well do:
    Would you happen to know anywhere where one could get an image of a full roll of original ERDL fabric?
    I'm trying to figure out the pattern drawing and I can't find definitive horizontal ends of the pattern. Best I could figure is that ERDL (M-1948, if you wish) is a 15x60in tile (I know the vertical repeat is 15in and the roller width at my best guess is 60in), but I'm missing like 4 inches of material.

    Hi, Mike b. I'm Corey, and I subscribed your Chanel, and I'm wondering how much the 3rd pattern of the jungle fatigues are. The reason why I'm asking is because I'm interested in getting one of the sets of the 3rd pattern jungle fatigues that were worn in' 68. I'm in to history, big time. I hope to hear back from you, regarding my inquiry. Thank you for your time, in responding. Sincerely, Corey. Corey Hansen from Canada.

    Hey mike I know this is off topic from this vid but I gotta ask for your helmet series. There’s nothing more I love on m1 helmets is a super tight fitting helmet cover and i wanna know. is the best way to achieve this is by soaking the whole cover or just edges where the cover folds to the pot or is this not recommended because it may damage the liner?

    • @MikeB128
      @MikeB128  5 лет назад

      I usually soak the entire cover and put it on the helmet with the elastic band. Also depends what material it's made of. You can do this with the 100% cotton ones, but it's harder with synthetic materials.

    what is of your opinion on someone who would wear this type of shirt out in public with patches?

    • @MikeB128
      @MikeB128  5 лет назад +2

      Don't care at all. Even with patches. There's a difference between wearing a piece of military clothing and pretending to be an actual service member. Doesn't bother me one bit to see people wearing military stuff as every-day wear...
