    Love this curriculum way better then, Christian light, alpha and primer, and TGATB. Definitely gives me the vibes of apologia curriculum

    Never heard of this curriculum but it reminds me of the good and the beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

    This was so helpful. I’m planning to use this for my rising 1st grader so I loved getting to see this!

    Thank you for this explanation, flip-through video. We’re getting ready to start MWC 1 next week & I needed a lil walk-through.
    We’re switching from TGTB math, which really is beautiful but “all over the place”.

    We are halfway into CLE math and realized the same thing. Going to math with confidence along side CLE

      What a great idea to combine them in a way that fits your family. I love it. We still enjoy math with confidence so much! I hope it works out for you just as well!

    Super helpful review!! And it's great to hear your follow-up on Christian Light! It would be fun to see a video hearing your thoughts on all of the different math programs you've tried and how/why you chose each one!

    Hi, what are your thoughts on MWC versus Apologia Math? I'm trying to decide between these two for next year.

      @simplylearningtogether651  Год назад +2

      So I am new to both, especially new to trying Apologia. But based on first impressions -
      MWC is more hands on, has extra practice problems and seems a bit gentler in my opinion (but I’m comparing first to fourth)
      Apologia has lots of math application to real world subjects, has very short assignments each day and all of the hands on provided is optional.
      I feel like you couldn’t get the best of MWC without the hands on part.
      I feel VERY well guided with MWC.
      After one week of Apologia, I do have a desire for maybe just 2 or 3 more practice problems in a lesson.
      No curriculum will be perfection 🤪 I hope that was helpful and not overwhelming. Ask me more if you’d like! Happy to answer.

      I also want to add. They are completely different but so are my girls ❤️ and the differences best suit each of my children in a positive way.

      This curriculum is a lot like the good and the beautiful! If you haven't considered it, look into it! They even have it as a free download. There math kits are great though because they include a math box that has everything you need for the games and activities throughout the year that's in the book.
