I remember seeing ROGER MILLWARD on the open top bus driving through Sutton Park in the early 80's i think 1983, they had won at Wembley and went all around Hull with all the players in this bus,I also had the pleasure of meeting and shaking hands with Clive Sullivan at school, the gentle giant, what a man, full of love and compassion for other people,I am so proud to have know both of these people, so proud to be from Hull, and don't forget The Airlie Birds, were all 1 , were all Hull at the end of the day, 1 city, 2 great rugby teams, best in the world!

He taught me O Level Electrical Installation at Whitwood College in Castleford on day release from Knottingley High School a couple of hours a week around 1982 --not sure if he just did this as a pastime on the side but he was a great teacher and man which i greatly respected as we all did in our class even the non Hull KR fans .
I play rugby as well and I was there in that stadium the tribute sea of cards with his face was phenomenal R.I.P Roger u may have passed on but ur legend still lives on and u r still in our hearts😍😚😔😢😭

He taught me how to tackle properly when I was a schoolboy. Absolute legend, class tributes at the match v Widnes. RIP Roger
