- I’ll take you through the Springfield Antique & Garden Market Christmas show and share the booths and the goodies I got. We’ll also take a trip to Smiths Grove, KY to a cute little shop called The Garden Patch on Main.

I loved everything about this video. Your booth was so enticing, sure wish I could have been there. Thought about you and your Mom getting ready and being there. I hope you sold 99 9/10 percent of everything you had. Love Betty's Santas. Sherry sure does have some nice antiques. Esley's shop is wonderful. I worked in a Christmas shop similar to Esley's for 18 years. I did all of their floral for all occasions. Love Esley's bows...........so pretty. I love what you said about the cedar tree being "primitive"..........Well that's the kind of tree that "Santa" brought when I was growing up. "Mrs. Claus" put angel hair on it and just a few ornaments. Me, being a child, thought it was beautiful. I guess we were "prim" and didn't know it. Absolutely charming and unique video, I loved it. Once again Bridgett you show us the unusual and help it to tell it's story . And the people you introduce to us, are so down to earth and interesting. Ditto to the viewer who wished they lived closer to you!!!! Right now south of Buffalo, it is beginning to snow. Your remind us as we go along with you as you highlight the start of the Christmas season, that the world is waiting and waiting. Thanks Bridgett.

Hi B, I live in Nampa, Idaho. I start every morning with you and coffee in bed. We have no, none, nothing primitive in our area. I've collected antiques for 55 years and love primitive. A cousin hooked me up with you tube, and now we are planning a huge spring trip to your area in early, if God willing. I watch and rewatch your videos. Thank you so much for bringing prime to Idaho.

I bought a primitive wall box from her. We had a great visit. She so sweet. Didn't get her name or card but as soon as you started talking about your friend I just thought thought of her and when I seen this video I now know it was her.
Wow beautiful, timeless antiques at the show. Your momma looks so very pretty and sweet. I’d have loved to come to the show. I could pick your booth to pieces, such wonderful items. I’ve been watching for about a month now and look forward to every video you post. Also playing catch up on the older ones. You’ve inspired me to start a ‘primitive’ decor stage at my house. I had a few things already like hubbys granny’s churn and an old sled we had in the barn and a few other pieces. It’s not quite as old as most of your things but it sure takes me back a few years 😊. So today I’ve been gathering dried hydrangea blooms and red sedum blooms and some grapevine. It’s funny how we go to Wal Mart to buy nice things when everything we need is in our backyard! And it’s unique so no one else has one like it. Bridgett you are an inspiration. Loved James Humphrey booth and Eserys’ old antique home and decor. I’d love to visit them as well. Waiting for your next masterpiece……….❤

That little loom is a band or tape loom used to make decorative bands for clothing, twill tape for hat bands or finishing curtain/dress hems, etc. Very nice find!

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS LITTLE SHOPPING TRIP WITH YOU, BRIDGETTE. THE GARDEN SHOP IS ADORABLE. I LOVED THE RED STOCKINGS ON THE CEDAR TREE AND THE UNUSUAL WREATH ON THE DOOR. THE SANTAS IN YOUR BOOTH ARE VERY CUTE.

I’m always amazed with all the historical pieces you show us. My parents were antique dealers of higher end furniture, but I loved all things primitive. That was about 50 yrs ago. I was obsessed with early American history. I’ve moved a lot so I don’t have any of my original pieces. However I’ve started collecting antiques again.
?Do you see very many young people buying or selling primitives? Shabby chic and rustic were popular a few years ago, now it’s trendy to buy vintage, but I don’t see younger generations, specifically collecting American primitives. I guess all things come and go in home decor.

It was a lot of fun watching this! I have been cut off from antiques for just a little while so it was very vicarious. Looking forward to seeing your Christmas decorations. Last year, the first video that you posted blew me away with peace and beauty and I got a lot of great ideas.
