before watching ippo, i watched one boxing fight which was a KSI one, no interest in boxing. after ippo i watch every boxing fight i can and go to boxing. truly life changing.

Hajime no Ippo is one of the most underrated anime series about boxing sport, just like Ashita no Joe or Rikudou. But what people don't understand is that the beauty of those animes are in the journey of the characters and their motivation to change their lives running to achive their dreams, and not if they have superhuman powers.
