FANTAVISION a guy who I went to high school with stole a full size recliner chair from Wal-Mart
im good
Akito756 how tf
I remember a long time ago gamestop didn't take the new games out of the ds case and I end up just taking like 10 ds games
I work at a Dollar General. The things I've seen people do to steal. I've seen a man try and stuff a 120 count BOX of diapers into his sweatpants. I was walking around straightening the store when I come to the baby section. There he was, trying desperately to put this box thats like 18 inches in height width and length down his pants. Looked him dead in the eye for about five seconds, and just kept walking. Thankfully after about another minute of him trying, he realized it wasnt going down his pants. I applaud that man for trying, but damn was that funny.
griwan753 oh man, people steal from dollar stores all the time. Some of my friends steal candy and chocolates, and one kid I know got caught and banned from Dollarama lmao
The diaper stuff sounds more sad then funny
Ariel Safran that’s what I was thinking lol cause he’s obviously struggling bad
The one I'm near by has issues. Good store but people be stealing. Guns included.
AND EVERYONE CLAPPED.
The reason people steal empty cases, is because they allready stole the game from somewhere else, now they're only missing the case to sell it on ebay
Or they're fiends
You can sell games on eBay without the case. It doesn't even look suspicious, because lots of people throw out or lose their cases. A complete game with case, artwork, etc. usually does sell for more though.
The case vs no case on ebay is a MASSIVE margin as far as cost goes.
You couldn’t be more wrong about that haha 😂
I buy everything from my local GameStop because barely anyone shops there. It's nice and quiet. You could hear a pin drop.
No Filler Gaming Knight Not around here. We have a GameStop in a grocery store plaza nearby and it’s NEVER empty. There’s always a line in that little store! But then again, the people who work there are actually very helpful. They spend a lot of time with the customers which sometimes holds up the line but that’s ok. I’m glad it’s busy. I don’t want to see it go.
Amazon or my local game shop (not gamestop).
No Filler Gaming Knight that’s how it is with my local EB Games, never anyone in there
Blake_Ignited same with my EB Games the people are also very nice and don’t push pre orders or used games.
"WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRE ORDER ANYTHING TODAY?!?"
I had someone throw food at me in the drive thru at burger king. I was later given a raise lol
cloneskiller that's a good manager then. Lol
Good manager
LMAO
VanillaIcyJoJo r/nothingeverhappens
@@derekg5674 definitely had food thrown at me. Not hard to believe at all.
Never stop telling us what you're drinking. Its a classic now
Caymin Crosslin I agree! I was never annoyed by that!
I'm drinking a nice, ice cold glass of piss.
Yeah, it's kind of Fanta's signature, now. Today, I'm just having a Coca-Cola, but hey, whatever helps you chill, right?
Caymin Crosslin tbh it’s pretty annoying, it takes like 5 minutes for him to get to the video
I'm having Pitch Black Mountain Dew over ice.
I got accused of stealing $50 and they said they had me on camera and couldnt find any proof of me doing it lol im like ohh hmm what camera? They said it was a pen sized camera in the ceiling lol im like yeaaaa ok well ya pulled me in for nothing and i know why, two people bought halo at full price and returned those unopened copies and i gave them back what they paid, but you nailed me because that day halo was half off new so you wanted me to only refund half what they paid. Fuck gamestop
Not exclusive to gamestop, had the same excuse used on me years ago at cvs, tried to make me believe they had cameras on the water sprinklers to see a 360 view of the store.
It's just when they want a bullshit reason to fire someone without having to touch unemployment.
I just ask to show me the footage , let's face it if they had footage that's what they would have shown you to justify the accusation.
When you really think about it, isn't Gamestop the real thieves? (Not defending shoplifters tho)
Hσηєувєє тнє ƁƖσggєя ♡ no. When people buy and sell things on ebay or amazon or goodwill they aren't thieves. They go and they buy that stuff from whoever is selling it and they make there money back. It's the same for gamestop. Nothing is stolen. Developers won't make as much money but honestly if a quality game is made I go buy it brand new. I have never seen a dev that said game stop made me loose most funds.
boba fett Dude it's a joke reflecting their terrible resale prices. Chill.
Hσηєувєє тнє ƁƖσggєя ♡ not really. When everyone says it as a reason to not shop at gamestop it's not a joke.
well the resell value is suck a ripoff, replays are way better on prices and stuff lol
Hσηєувєє тнє ƁƖσggєя ♡ they are but people dumb so yea
In security guard training for my license I learned that statistically most theft at retail chains is done internally (sometimes even my managers).
Only found your channel recently .....I like
Professor Peculiar This channel is visual gold. Always entertaining!
Greatest channel on RUclips
I worked at a retail store where the same exact scammers would come in on a weekly basis. Everyone knew exactly who they were. The managers would never let us refuse service. The professional thieves know that the bigger retail stores aren't going to do anything about them stealing. My husband says private security like a mall cop can't actually physically touch you if you don't want to comply, they must call the police if you don't agree to be detained. So they can pretty much just walk out even if they're caught stealing.
Zariaeda 007 occasionally mall 'cops' are off duty officers who do have the legal right to physically detain you. It may be against the mall policy though. Most private security is not real law enforcement though and most can not lay hands on you
TheKingHostile actually I'm a security officer. It's a training issue. I'm qualified to carry a 9mm, stungun, and pepperspray. If you resist or refuse to leave property I can use equal force.
TheKingHostile also, any guard can fight back.
Zennethe you can use reasonable force to protect yourself, you however can not use force to detain someone. You don't have the legally authority to hold someone against their will. Even an officer would be in trouble if they shot a guy in the back just because they stole something. A jury of your peers will determine if whatever force you used was reasonable force. However, almost no court will consider it reasonable force to cause serious injury to someone over theft. Many states will even consider trying to restrain someone as assault and battery. Once someone tries to retreat it is typically considered unlawful to assault that person in any way. Police stop you when fleeing because you are resisting arrest, or disobeying a lawful order. Security does not have the authority to arrest someone or detain them against their will unless letting them go puts someone in danger.
Well to be fair you don't usually shoot the gun if they do not have a fire arm as well (Although in my state you can so long as they at least have a knife, As we have a law stating you may use force once step above, I.E. if he is unarmed but attacking you, you may stab them or if they are coming at you with a knife or a bat you may shoot them) But the firearm can be used as a false threat if you are trained to do so. I.E. a security guard with firearms training. As for detain, in my state you can detain shoplifters against their will until they may be turned over to the proper authority. Though if you injure an unarmed person they can sue you over it as you are in fact not a cop.
FANTA I am a alcoholic in recovery have six months sober and all your videos bring me joy. I also worked grocery retail and at game stop. I feel your pain brother keep up with the great videos and if you two ever want to do a retail pod cast with an Iraq war vet with interesting stories let me know!

Thanks for your service dude
@@mattgaldikas1511 thank you for your service brother
I actually worked for a retail company that told us to fight back if there was an active shooter. It was college book store company. Often their locations had one exit. So try to flee, but if you can't fight back.
That's really horrible man.
This is standard training now a days for crowded/large businesses. Run Hide Fight.
The store could at least have maintained a gun or two, to shoot back at the robbers.
AirCooledMan2006 unfortunately schools are gun free zones.
Carter Baker odd how shootings happen most where the risk is lowest.....
This morning at a 7 eleven the cashier was outside or something, so I was waiting to buy my sausage roll. A dude came in, hurriedly made himself a slushy, rushed out and drove away in a hurry.
Of all the things to steal he picked a slushy.
Give Dick a break he not only lost his job but he was illegally deported and his bum ass wife Jane couldn't teach a fitness class..
Dick, the corporate puppet
Time to start rewatching these videos
It was really scary how bold shoplifters were at "Richards." Shoplifters knew that we were not supposed to accuse/confront them. As a manager about all I could do was just stay by them and stick to them like stink on shit. Even then, they never took the hint and would always try to wait it out until another customer asked me for help.
At the end of my time though, I had an awesome DLPM who told me to stop wasting my time and just kick the morons out of my store. That was pretty neat!
Doug Blockhus I feel you on the first part of your comment. At a certain well known orange themed home improvement store, we can't say a thing to them, we can't even call the police. Best we can do is offer to help them find something and just make them feel uncomfortable. But if they want to shove a $60 tool down their pants, they can do just that and practically have the red carpet rolled out as they walk out the store.
Christmas time. Nothing is locked. They also leave Pokemon Go Plus on shelves. High end figures at around $100-$200 are in reach. Trading cards out as well as older DS games. Kinects. Older consoles like PS3. All easy for people to grab.
@MegaAlabamafan22 In the Akron/Cleveland Suburbs. I can usually count on being able to buy new controllers from crackheads and heroin junkies for $10.
I'd watch them and record them , send the footage to the local police
@Jacob Ackerman Hmm that's debateable , regardless of how many cameras a store has . People still will Rob the place
you mean the lil semi circle magnet?
and lmfaoo how tf did this mutant just walk out that glass casing is super heavy.
My mom was a store owner a long time ago. She said to one of her employer who stole money from her, "Your life will not change and will never become rich." Afterward, the employer is fired from it.

Aww, cute :3 I ship it
Are you a headset or a keyring ?
No im not getting tired of gamestop/walmart
Been watching you for a long time, just realized google unsubbed me. Thanks youtube..
TBSE Gabriel That's RUclips for ya! Thanks for resubbing man!
Do a video of Eric's time at Target
Have worked at Target myself and not so much seen, but have had items stolen. One of the major items stolen were Beats Earbuds and sometime later cosmetic items.
I just gotta say that your videos are the perfect ones to listen to while I spend hours on end drawing. I love the shit you talk about since I can find it super relatable, especially this one, and I never get tired of your videos. Keep up the good work, and don't stop telling us what you're drinking!
StarryByNature can you draw me?
Not unless you're willing to commission me.
In Florida it is illegal to secretly record anyone anywhere with audio, so of any Gamestop is doing that here then they can get in big big trouble.
There was actually a theft in a local gamestop recently. I was in one across town when the call to the store came in. Apparently there was a shipment of games that had just came in and was sitting by the front desk when someone nabbed it. New employee had went into the back for something and it was gone by the time she came back...
Crazy shit
Good shit Fanta my boy
Another reason why gamestop is not all bad, they had plenty of nes classics while bestbuy was sold out and wouldn't pick up the phone
I recently discovered your channel and I gotta say you are one of the most down to earth people on RUclips. Finally someone that doesn't clickbait or lie or fabricate stories. Keep it up man.
So many horror stories from retail! I have a few of my own just working inventory. Do you like hefeweizen?
Hef is my favorite brew :)
I would think a safer way to have that sort of security measure would be to have a code that just opens the safe _and_ a code that alerts authority when you open the safe. Like if the code was 1234 to open it, you could press 123456 and the longer code would alert authorities of a robbery. Or just having a completely separate code for robberies, though I don't know if that would be more or less risky for employees to accidentally confuse with the real code.
I don't think I've ever seen you drink fanta
Gotta watch my milestone videos then!
Lol my buddy used to work at a big 'n' tall store, he used to unplug the security camera DVR box from the monitor, and would plug in his PS2 and play games in the backroom from the time he clocked in, til the end of his shift. I STILL have no idea how he was able to keep his job for so long!
Gamestop is pretty good when you're an elite member. You pay $30 but they give you $5 each month so you end up doubling your money by the end of the year.
Elusive Logic I've never been told that and can't find that anywhere in the benefits description.
FANTAVISION I would never have found out if I didn't use the gamestop app. They pop up each month under active offers. On the rewards site you have the option to compound them each month to add up. If you don't then each $5 reward expires after a month. I have no idea why they don't advertise that but they tell you about it if you ask.
T...That is the auto buy rewards coupon. You actually EARNED those yourself. That means that you bought enough games / etcetera to earn 5000 points, which means you spent at least 170$ a month in the store.
If you change that to "stockpile points" you will be able to buy the coupons using your app instead when you have a larger purchase you want to make.
Elusive Logic yeah I work at GameStop rn. Elite members do get nice deals when using the app.
@@brittanik9988 Maybe nice deals but stores or companys never really gift you something. Its like at the moment my local electronic store called "Saturn" here in germany (a big chain of stores) you get an offer for an New 2DS XL for 139,99€ and they Bundle it with 2 games "worth" 59,99 but those 2 are total crap games and they are not selling very good (same when you look on ebay) at all so they just add dem to get rid of them And selling them with no real profit. Its all just there to get your ass to the store and maybe buy something else too and on a big scale they call it "Black Friday"
Ok I don’t know why but the mental image of somebody stealing a fuckload of Wiimotes from a Walmart, going literally next door to a GameStop and trading them all in for the money, and the GameStop then displaying all the stolen Wiimotes from the Walmart next door is hilarious to me.
"Have a nice day" *walks away with your girl in his arms*
Audio recording is illegal in a lot of states. Look up "two-party consent" states for recording.
Damn used to watch these videos back like six years ago, came back for some nostalgia.
Crazy it’s been that long, right?
Hey fanta i want ur retro gaming opinion. Should i buy a black sp and a weird atomic gameboy color and pokemon ruby for 55? I mean we're in 2018. Its a steal but...
Fernando Bahena if you can't find that stuff readily in your area hop on my dude! I bought a copy of Pokemon Emerald and an SP from a guy for $40 and thought that was a good deal!
Just my 2 cents
usteeler81 thanks for ur insight bro
Fernando Bahena dude wtf that's basically a robbery buy it!
Perfect Focus update. Traded some valuable yugioh shit for it. No money involved. WIN WIN BABY
I worked at a candy store and on my third shift, the till was $20 down and couldn't be accounted for (I was not the only one using the till.) I was blamed for the missing $20, and when I told them I hadn't done it, was promptly told to cough it up or be fired. I told them that if I was going to steal from them, I'd have stolen a lot more than a measly $20 bucks, and quit on the spot. I'm not a thief, and I'm not going to give the time of day to people who'll think such things of me.
Your channel is so underrated!! You literally talk about everything about different stores and give a good description. Keep up the good work man
I don't know where this was because i moved a while back. It was a GameStop in Tempe, Arizona. I was buying the nintendo labo on the day it came out, and it was awesome. Until i got to the house. The labo came with one missing entire sticker sheet. I went with all of the built stuff into GameStop, and i had the same amazing manager. He was extremely nice, and gave me a new Labo for no extra charge. He said he could display the labo. He even threw in a pin for my trouble! I haven't been to that GameStop since, but i hope it is doing well
"I know I just sort of glossed over that one guy's story with the gun but... he's annoying. We'll get back to him -- ANYWAY" I lost my shit 11/10
What happends almost every time i go is i buy a “new” game and it has scratches on the back
OMG! Just liked and subscribed because of the:
"Shut up Dwight"
Line xD
So glad my GameStop doesn't push preorders or power up cards at all. Also if I have a game that the employee wants but I don't trade in, they'll pay retail price for it
POP! Josh smaller ones learn to feed off the community loyalty instead of shilling all the things. Lol
My local one let's you use his rewards discount if he knows ya. Lol
POP! Josh My local GameStop is the same way; great service always. One particular employee offered to purchase a copy of Demon Souls my cousin had for PS3 for cash, but he wasn’t sure about it bc it was region-locked. Still, very cool guy and overall great service.
Hidden audio is illegal in Georgia and Florida without a sign out front stating that it is being done.
When I was working there, we had a ton of people stealing the display cases, thinking we had the game inside.
“Drug addiction is crazy”. *sips alcohol*
There is a big difference between having a couple drinks VS using drugs idiot.
Just because you can't see the hidden camera video feed doesn't mean on is not their. Walgreens had ones that don't show up on the monitors. Also , it depends on state on what is allowed. Most states seem to be one party, and as a employee you are considered the one party. The notices of video recording count as Audio. In most two party states tend to be notify only.
I just want to do a GameStop Dumpster dive, but I work in the mall across a GameStop and I don’t know which dumpster it is.
Frankie Fernandez there will more than likely never be anything of value in there
They just have the audio in case they need it. It's recording 24/7 they are logged and if not needed within "x" amount of time they are usually deleted.
The Gamestop equivalent in england is called Game. And on the floor you can get Controllers, Keyboards, mouses (and the irrelevant shit like key chains) and you can also get pokemon cards and miscellaneous items like Vinyl characters. Its crazy how much you could get if you want.
I never worked at Gamestop, but my local one keeps used 360 and ps3 controllers on sale in plastic wrapping free hanging so you could still hold them, on display hooks, I go there fairly infrequently and even I have seen a guy just take 3 off the hook and walk out of the store. About 2 weeks later, they were behind a glass display case; the minority of customers ruin things for the vast majority of us!
"Have a nice day" What a legend.
I think some people try to take on the thieves because managers will blame the employee for not stopping them or doing enough to prevent a loss and get written up/fired over it.
I have seen a few people run out of GameStop when they were stealing stuff and the employees were just standing there watching. One was while I was preordering a game and the girl said that GameStop instructs them to not engage and just let me run out of the store because you never know if they are violent. She even said a lot of times they don’t even bother calling the police because it is a waste of time.
whats your mic setup like?
I remember when I worked in retail, we were cleaning up the shop and I found an empty box of those thumb grips, there was a colleague nearby and we both just heavily sighed because we weren't up for dealing with that after what we'd been through the entire day. I found quite a lot of these over my time there, it was hell.
Can't believe I'm just discovering your channel - I've been binging these videos all day lol. Keep it up! :)
I work at a convenience store and some dude showed up at 6 am asking for a bunch of help with his food if he could buy beer yet and he just grabs a few cans of beer and says thanks bud and walks out without paying
while hunting i pulled the bolt back on my 30-06 rifle and no rounds came out. i did it twice like always just to be safe and a round never came out again. so i peek down the barrel and i notice a LIVE round in my rifle. always look down the chamber to ensure theres no rounds in it. some people are not as safe as me.
Interesting story about Wal-Mart: My friend and I had just left Wal-Mart since we were shopping for snacks, and as we were leaving, some guy approached me and tried to get me to return some items for him to the store. I had to tell him no like three times before he gave up pestering me. A few minutes later, my friend told me that a lot of people try to return stolen items back to Wal-Mart in an attempt to get other people arrested for shoplifting. A real scummy thing for someone to do, and I'm glad I wasn't dumb enough to believe that guy
As someone that worked many years for security companies well I was going to college I can tell you that typically cameras do you have listening equipment but it’s strictly for playback. We are not paying some guy to just sit there and watch cameras feeds all day. The cameras are strictly only looked at for playback when something goes down. So for instance if one of the Game Stop’s got robbed typically a police department which now that I graduated college I work in law-enforcement is going to want a back up of what happened before they report/court purposes. Typically the police department would contact Game Stop or if it was a bigger store like let’s say at Walmart they would speak directly to the loss prevention officer on duty and get a back up of the files from him or her. So there’s no company I’ve ever heard of that just has some person sitting around listening to what you’re saying at the store. But obviously audio also helps for court purposes and documentation.
Customer/Potential theif: "Can you give me change for this $20?" Me: "No."
Not disclosing where I worked just in case this is still a thing, even though I worked for this place 20 years ago. We had stuff locked up in cases, except you didn't even need a key to unlock them. A simple paperclip was all that was needed. it apparently could catch the locking mechanism just right and lock or unlock them.
I once saw a kid walk casually out of walmart with 2 ripsticks.
I used to work at 7 eleven and one time two big guys just pushed past me behind the counter and took about 3000 dollars worth of cigarettes. dunno if they were armed but I wasn't about to find out
Did GameStop have a loss prevention department? I know Walmart does they have LP on the store floor and in an office watching and controlling CCTV system and camera where they actually watch for and stop/Apprehend Shoplifters
Gamestop LP is not an instore department. They are sort of Region Manager level; Store Managers take over that job in most positions, as do District Managers.
My local Gamestop has been flat out Robbed and Burglarized multiple times in the last two years. On the night of March 2nd of last year, I arrived at my gamestop to wait in line for my Switch and the bloody glass wall was gone. Someone had broken in through the window the night before and robbed the place. they stole all the consoles that were out ( mostly just old XBox360's according to the Manager) and whatever games were out ( mostly crappy racing games that goodwill sells for 2 bucks.)
They had tried to get into the back room where all the Switch's had just been delivered, but they didn't bring sophisticated enough equipment to get past the security door and only managed to dent it.
This happened 3 more times since then. Someone smashes the bottom or top window, crawls through, grabs whatever's out, then tries to leave. I heard they caught him the last time he tried.
You aren't pissed because you feel robbed, you get pissed because you feel like you got suckered. That you obviously weren't smart enough to catch it.
Gwiber WurmChild oh dear Jesus it's a Gaia online noob Avatar...
Off topic, but I couldn't remember if our mall had a Game Stop and last week I was standing right in front of it. It's a good sized store and for 630pm on a Wednesday evening, had a lot of customers in it.
I worked at Zaxby`s for a while and let`s just say I got a nice little bonus when I got tasked to install new audio equipment through the store.
My method was similar to yours for quick change artists, but what I did was each time they asked for change. I'd do it and then shut my register.. then reopen it for the next one. We had to type a code to get into the register so everytime they tried to change it up id finish it and then start fresh.
They got annoyed fast and gave up
Where do you get your drinks? Publix?
At the Gamestop where i worked at, after the remodel they never set up the locking mechanism for the metal pull over gate. So if someone were to break in you just have to pull the gate back! It made it real easy to open the store though, you have a few seconds to disarm the security so just pulling the gate back rather than unlock it saved me alot of time!
Kinda defeats the entire purpose of that security gate lol however, it was really stressful trying to beat the alarm when locking and unlocking the store
Nice shirt! My best friend growing up plays base for them, "Dustin Davidson". Some of the hardest laughs we've ever had were in school and on tour.
Lmao @26:27 scared the shit out of me. I half zoned out and my brain was like "THE WORLD IS ENDING!"
Hope youre having a good day, FANTA
I'll be honest. I used to do this but before GameStop made it manditory to get Id and fingerprint. I was 12 and stupid, but as soon as they asked for id I stopped. Never stole again cuz around this time a lot of stores upgraded to better security so I stopped.
I remember I went to Wal-Mart once was just walking in and saw this guy walking out with a tv no big deal until 2 Wal-Mart employees come running out and tell me why I didn't stop him because he just stole a tv. Not like I would of done anything but the guy was walking so calm didnt think anything about it.
Don't mock the entrance monitor camera. That's an old trick and it works. Most people are subconsciously attracted to movement. When you see the monitor your face is revealed to the camera. It is meant to identify people by time stamps on when they enter and when they leave.
Depending on the state it may or may not be legal to have audio listening equipment.
The sketchy part of the magnet locks that Walmart, Gamestop, and etc all use is that you can actually buy those keys online.
A store in my district got robbed with an uzi. Yes. AN UZI. after that they put up surveillance cameras around the store and even had a warning sign on the door (with Buck the Bunny dressed as an FBI agent, sunglasses and all) informing customers. And an announcement was made every fifteen minutes saying "you are being monitored for your own protection". Seemed to work.
The thing about people wanting revenge when they're robbed at gunpoint is that they don't like being in so little control of their own lives and GameStop already strips you of most control over your own life.
I can tell you for a fact that these stores rarely ever check their security footage unlike Target. I will admit to sticker swapping on discounted items to get a better deal on a Nerf blaster or Blu-ray.
At the hardware store I work at currently, they have nine cameras and three are dummies. Yet I find empty boxes for product in the restroom on a weekly basis.
An old friend of mine told me the story of how his older brother robbed our local Blockbuster. It was at gunpoint and he took the employees in the back room and blindfolded them and locked them back there but made sure to get the security footage. He jumped into the back of the till and stole ALL the games. I think he said that he took off the stickers and sharpie with rubbing alcohol. And because he covered all his tracks he didn't get caught until much later when word of mouth got around. In the end, bragging about his flawless robbery was what had got him caught. Some thieves get a big ego when they tell their stories, which if they didn't....they would get away with it more often I think.
I had a guitar stolen from my house in high school....it was just a matter of time (couple months) before the friends he bragged to came to me and ratted him out.
In my local EB Games which is in the mall.. many of the items aren’t locked up or tied to anything. They legit just sitting there on the shelves. Cases are empty ofc but gaming keyboard that are worth $150 are just sitting there and gaming headsets are sitting there aswell. Wide open view anybody can just grab it walk out and go up the next level outside the door
Here where I live, a community started stealing gamestop crates at the docks lol, they took it to a whole new level. It was so wild they closed all the gamestops here cause very few merchandise made it to the stores.
I remember completing surveys during the Wii craze and getting points for wiimote chargers, I'd flip to gamestop or if flip the dozens of classic co ntrollers. Wonder if y'all think I I was a thief
I had that happen to me. I work at a gas station, and I had a guy come in and buy some Swisher cigarillos and a drink last month. He paid with exact change (even had $0.21 extra) and left. Ten or thirteen minutes later, he comes back saying he paid with a $20 and I gave him no receipt. I found the crumpled receipt and saw I gave him his change, but proceeded to give him the money. I didn't realize until he walked away with $13 that I gave him more money than what he paid. I told my coworkers after that, and have only seen the guy once since. They have the footage on camera, and the cameras record audio. There are only two cameras that work in that gas station, so there was no way to see if he just sat there and schemed with his friend or not, because he was with a friend that was wrung out on a different register.
I walked into an EB games where a man in a suit and tie wearing sunglasses indoors trying to walk away with two trolleys full of random stuff with the excuse that it was for charity.
Since when does gamestop check your ID, get a Fingerprint or any of that? I've traded things in without ever showing ID
My GameStop we always go too is not that loud
Only thing I hear are workers stacking games and some people talking
As a kid they kept these little blue trays behind the counter with all the games in alphabetical order. We would have 3 people, 2 ask to see things behind the counter, or in the glass case, then the 3rd person would just reach back and grab a tray or 2 and walk out with a ton of games. My friend got caught selling them back to another gamestop in the area, because he didnt shuffle the stack he was trying to sell. everything was still in order, The guy didn't take the games or anything, just wouldn't let him return them,
There is a guy that goes to my local gamestop and he steal and then goes back and gets cash trade in on the items he stole. the manager pointed him out last time i was there but i dont think they actually did anything and they just let him come in and give him the cash
True Story: I don't remember if it was in Gamestop's early days or if it was EB games but I took a bunch of games in for trade. We made the deal for trade-in and I bought some stuff from the store. We drove two hours back home and to my horror, I discovered that the games I had traded in were just empty boxes and the actual games were in a cd holder. My wife had not put the games into the game boxes (my fault also for not checking.) I immediately called the store which was in Huntington WV and explained to the clerk what had happened. He was really nice about the whole thing and said I could bring the games back the next weekend. We did nothing but load back up, drove another two hours that very day, and gave the store their games. I was terrified, and I don't know how some people can live with themselves when they intentionally rip someone off or steal. I don't know why the clerk never checked the boxes but it doesn't matter, that was all on me.
I worked at Target, and we had a guy walk into the electronics department and rip a PS hard drive off the peg. Runs out, and walks directly to the Gamespot satellite store in the parking lot. Being a hard drive, we had the serial number. (I assume he didn't know about the parking lot cameras.) That was the easiest case to process.
The gamestop I use to go to back in 2015 was robbed completely and burnt down
I love August Burns Red
