    Rossi, they should come up with a small sample pack for the slugs containing all 3 sizes so people can find out which works best for their gun.

      Pavel IS JSB, let the man talk. I'm not interested THAT much in the distributors even though he is a great presenter. I wanna hear the man on the front lines.

    Would be nice if there were sample packs of the slugs with all the slight variations in diameter. Instead of buying a whole tin of something that might not work optimally, especially since same guns from same manufacturer will have slight differences barrel to barrel. Just a suggestion.

    Simpler pack on the Slugs. Of the different sizes so you find out exactly which one fits your Barrel better. Can't wait for the Slugs but like I said i would like to be able to purchase a sampler tin. Cool stuff. ✌🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

    Predator International was nice enough to send me a tin of 22 caliber Hades to replace a mislabeled tin. Just got in 4 tins of 25 caliber, the energy dump is amazing and my guns like them.

    Does ANYONE make any good .20 caliber pellets anymore, other than round nose and wad-cutter? I'm an old school guy whose favorite arm is a spring powered Beeman R-1. The old Beeman .20 Silver Bear Hollow Points were deadly accurate on small game, but can't find any of them any more.

    • @michaelwthalman
      @michaelwthalman 5 лет назад +3

      They do have a Jsb Polymag in .20cal. I feel your pain. The .20 is my favorite caliber. Im hording my stockpile of .20cal pellets now. We need another marketing genius like Bob Beeman to rejuvenate the great .20.

      @@michaelwthalman Totally agree Sir, totally

      The JSB domes 13.73gr domes shoot great (usually a common theme with JSBs) I did just get 2 new boxes of the new JSB .20 hevies 15.89gr and in my various Beeman R series, they shoot them really well. The new 15.89s definitely have a better BC, shoot great groups and noticeably hit harder at all ranges. Unfortunately no chrony at this time, but will be adjusting my scopes to be using these new pellets. So I will be stockpiling up on the new JSB 15.89s, so I can leave my old Beeman stockpile of .20 collections (including the Crosman brown box 1,000ct 14.34gr in .20) I think I have at least 3 boxes of all kinds of .20 cal old Beemans and 10 boxes of the Sheridan yellow box .20s. The new JSB 15.89s I might as well use, they shoot as well as all my other .20 pellet collections.

    Are there plans to make Hades in 30 caliber?

  • @FirstStateAirgun
    @FirstStateAirgun 5 лет назад +2

    So can you shoot a slug out of a break barrel

    • @therodenthitman
      @therodenthitman 4 года назад +1

      Sure you can, not with much power though which kind of defeats the purpose. Most likely wont be accurate either, break barrels are designed for pellets as are their barrels.

    Good pellets but shipping costs ruins the order even with 4 for the cost of 3 and that cost usually gets the order canceled. Then we go to wal mart and get Gamo Red Fire which are basically the same and are more cost effective to shoot. The money machine is always trying to ruin this sport with over priced items and brands that really don’t give that much better performance for the cost difference. Sadly everybody wants their finger in the pie and by the time we get it we taste the difference and are just supposed to eat it. Enough all ready.

      The94GTC I’m a county employee I pretty much do...lol...my point is if Crosman and Daisy can sale their pellets for under 10$ for 500 what is so much better that some of these other pellet brands are over 25$ for 200? There isn’t that much difference in accuracy if your gun likes them. We by a name because we have been conditioned by the industry and adds and hype to do so. Not bashing anyone just stating facts from what I have observed and had personal experience with. I didn’t make it that way this industry has. People get pissed when you point out the obvious because they have a infatuation with a particular brand or whatever. Say something negative about a FX Impact and your phone will non stop blow up...doesn’t matter how many times they had to send it back because it quit working or a seal let lose and they had to tear it down and fix it if they are competent enough. Conditioning. Brand Loyalty. All hype. All of my guns will eventually fail in one way or another. None are perfect. Same goes for these pellet manufactures and distributors. They don’t exist unless they make money. The markup on this stuff is crazy and the more they advertised it the more expensive it gets. Doesn’t make it any better sometimes just makes it more expensive. Shipping costs have plagued us all for years and not just with pellets and the like. It is just an extra few bucks that add up quick in their pocket. The make up isn’t good enough, and just like everything else that I have walked away from, when the greed gets in from of the cause I have to find it somewhere else. Competition is good and we don’t have enough to keep this sort of issue at bay. Like it or not that is what I see. It may not be your opinion and that’s ok we can agree to disagree. Let’s face it I don’t shot competition or even 100 yards. I hunt and do pest control and plink. I seldom shot pas 59 yards and just think it is freaking ridiculous to spend 60$ for 800 pellets when I can go to Amazon and get a 1000 for 14$ and FREE SHIPPING. That’s what this whole stink is circling around. My pellets hold a group of less than an Inch at 50 yards and mushroom imparting all their energy on the animal anchoring it right there on the spot. That’s why when placing these orders I stop and ask my self, Do I really need them, are they really worth it, for the money am I really going to do that much better to justify the cost, really what do I need to make what I already have any better. And then the total comes up and I hit the cancel button. My sub 300$ air guns are good enough. They do what I need them to do and do it well. I don’t need a Mercedes Benz to go get snuff. My 1976 ford pickup will do the same thing...kinda thing. No hate. Not mad. And certainly no disrespect. As I said just my opinion about it. You have your reasons for how you do and they work for you. It all good. I just stopped doing it. If they have a day where they drop shipping or give a crazy discount like they have in the past then I make an order of something special. Till then I won’t.

    • @heathhalfhill6867
      @heathhalfhill6867 4 года назад

      The94GTC very true . Benjamin’s have harder lead and are essentially Crosman pellets and odd as it may seem in my guns don’t perform well till around 1000+ FPS and up. Sumatra 2500 tack drives them at 1220-1230 FPS out to 100 yards but none of my other guns like them. I mostly shoot .22 in the backyard and not pst 50 yards so 1” groups are good enough for plinking and pest control with Daisy HPs from Amazon. If you shoot longer ranges JSBs are the way to go but at the amount of shooting we do here I simply cannot afford time shoot them plinking with the family feeding 6-7 shooters at a time and cost becomes a major factor. Grandkids love trigger time with pappy! For me a 60+$ order yields 800-1000 pellets. Amazon can do that and with free shipping for under 15$ and for shooting 50 yards max is good for my shooting situation. Range shooting past that distance requires better accuracy and then you have to spend some cash for that kind of accuracy and more precision pellets. If my shooters were older and had incomes it wouldn’t be as big of a deal for me. We could all pitch in. It is just to much burden at the moment for all those young trigger fingers to feed.

    • @heathhalfhill6867
      @heathhalfhill6867 4 года назад

      The94GTC yeah I agree 100%. I have only ever had luck with the Benjamin’s when pushed to 1220-1230 FPS in the 2500 Sumatra. Southern Gunner has a video out with the success he has had with them also and at the same speeds. With that said I had to think for a minute but my SK-19 likes the Crosman HPs @ 940 and shoots one hole at 37 yards. That shocked the heck out of me not only finding a tin of them in my pellet can but the fact that they held that tight of a group. In fairness, the gun has a polygonal barrel and really isn’t pellet fussy too much. I really got more than I paid for with that gun. Most of my other guns stay home when I go out hunting unless a friends or family are coming then they have their pick of a different gun cause this ones all mine. So freaking accurate it makes me look good! I’m also super happy that I got it in .22 and not .25 just because of pellet choices. I have been using Daisy Hollow Points from Amazon with amazing results at 900 FPS. They slow down fast and are good out to 50 yards, perfect for my backyard pesting. Sparrows explode with a heck of a pop and it rains meat, pieces, and feathers.😂👍
