As a Brit, we don't get to see the beautiful scenery in U. S. A.. so it's a real treat to see just HOW MUCH scenery there is, I love my cosy island but my heart is panging to experience some of that awesomeness (not 250 miles though) please know how appreciated this content is 🎉
You may not remember me but we ran together over Hogback Mtn (from miles 31-37) in Marquette… Either way I wanted to say congratulations! Very inspiring. Keep it up! Hope to meet up again at another race in the future.
Great video man! Lots of lessons packed in there. Also I love Kaylee keeping expectations real, “no, not really, you still have a mountain to climb!”. Congrats on that finish brother, and great work Kaylee for getting your runner across the line.
Amazing video, Cameron! Congratulations on your great race. Thank you for taking the time out of it to share the beautiful views, and give us the firsthand account.
Congrats on what looked like an epic run. I'm curious about your gear that you used and more specifically what shoes you chose. I know you mentioned your Hokas. What Saucony shoes did you go with?
Thank you! I wore the Saucony xodus ultras (the first iteration); this model of shoe just works perfect with my foot. Although I still believe I should of sized up late in the race given how my pinky toe was getting smashed in the toebox.
"all downhill from here!" "...not really you have to go up a mountain" HAHAHAHA that was so funny to me lol but great work man this video was suggested on my homepage and so glad it was! you did great!
Amazing achievement! And great job filming so much of the journey. I think the last thing I'd want to do in that situation is take my camera out amd record myself! Or did you find the camera a positive distraction? That walk into Deer Pass was hard to watch!
Thanks man, it prob slowed me down to film this but I wanted the memories to relive. Happy you enjoyed the video. My feet took a beating before Deer Pass and I really learned some great lessons about shoe choice for a 200 miler (i.e. sizing up!!)
Nice vid, Cam. I really enjoyed our time together on the course. Hit me up if you're ever looking for a partner on an absurdly difficult adventure. Lol
I enjoy our time together as well Alex, It was nice just naturally bumping into you again later in the race. I def will reach out if I brew up something crazy :) which I am already thinking of what's next! congrats on your finish too!
Prescribed burn is a planned fire; it is also sometimes called a “controlled burn”. Usually done for forest management issues and I believe in Arizona its to prevent a larger spread of wildfires if they were to happen.
youtube can always use more documentaries of 200 mile ultras. great job.
I agree. I looked for all the content before attempting Cocodona. Thanks so much for checking it out!

Well done sir! You seemed to pace yourself really well, looked fresh as a daisy all through.
Thank you! The foot issues definitely caused some issues but hey its a huge learning experience.
Man, you did a great job. So impressed with the way you handled what came your way. I did the 125 and think I saw you at tuthill.
You probably did! I was a little delirious at tuthill, hallucinating a lot coming in. Thank you!! and congrats on the 125!

Sorry for ignorance but what is a prescribed burn?
