All the fallen trees will be supplying future fuel for when you get your log burner. You should get a few years fuel from the wood already felled once seasoned. An electric log splitter would also be worth saving for. 😀
I swear someone is listening and following me because we spent two weeks in Scotland and now suddenly recommendations on RUclips are showing me videos for Scotland!!! I’m not complaining because that’s how I found you!!! We were on Skye when Ashley hit and that was quite an adventure. If I remember correctly I thought the winds actually hit 100mph during the night on skye. We survived and Monday morning the sun peaked through. We LOVE Scotland and hope to visit again. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Hello from Pennsylvania USA.
New subscriber. really enjoying what you have shared so far. I'm Scottish myself and when I was younger, our Victorian house was so cold that the washing up liquid would freeze if it was left out overnight. 🤣
Thanks so much for watching! We don't have plans for any more animals at the moment, I'm not sure we have enough space currently. But I'm interested in getting ducks one day, and maybe a dog but our 2 cats might object!
Quick tip after clearing your gutters pop the hose into the down pipe to make sure there clear and not blocked ❤❤
Really enjoy your videos. Please be careful on that ladder. Happy your storm wasn’t as intense as projected to be.
What a good idea to check the gutters! I'll have to ask my husband to take a look at ours because we're surrounded by trees.
