  • While filming outside the prison, guard approaches and calls police cuz he didn't know what to do. Troopers could not have handled the situation any better and are definitely Delawares finest. Professionalism and respect get the same in return. In my next video, you will see a very different interaction. Comin soon, enjoy!

Ohhhh... That officer gets an A.
Such a rare gem to find a young officer not try to assert his power/authority over you.
This is a great example of how an interaction should happen when an officer is called out to a "suspicious behavior" call.
    1) make contact with alleged perp.
    2) within reason use deductive reasoning and investigative training to identify if a crime has actually been commited.
    3) speak to both parties
    4) concludes investigation.
Only after #4 can they justify if they should ask for ID or not or engage any further.
Sadly 99% of the time officers go straight to ID, no investigation, and entrapment.

While the cop wasn’t offensive or aggressive, I disagree with your list.
      Call is sent. Then...
      1) make contact with THE CALLER. Find out if the caller is calling regarding a legitimate legal issue.
      2) advise caller that photography is not a crime & photographer is in a legal area.
      3) monitor/observe alleged suspect. Use that 6 mos training to determine if there is any crime worthy of bothering the citizen.
      4) if you decide to make contact with the alleged suspect, introduce yourself (name, badge, department). Inform suspect of reason for interaction. (At this point if they ask for info (ID or an explanation) I’m ok with it as long as they do not push)
      5) break contact. Offering citizen to have a nice day, if they require any assistance, and if they want the call/incident number.
      * if they arrive to a call and witness a blatant violation of the law, skip the list and go straight to the law violator.

Not suspicious.), ask them if they'd investigate a guy riding a unicycle while juggling? Hahahahaha.

Man I’m enjoying your videos... other auditors can learn a thing or two from you. Seems like you and news now Houston are the only decent ones out there

Why wouldn't the cop first go and talk to the people who made the call? Wouldn't that be an effective means to find out "what's goin' on" and to determine their "concerns" BEFORE engaging with a person who is doing nothing illegal?
