Raya okay not too bad but looks nervous in big games. Ben white can stay. Saliba looks more composed in big games compared to Gabriel. Gabriel against Aston Villa, Bayern home and away almost cost us with wayward passes. Left back needs to be addressed preferably Timber takes that role. Midfield Odegaard and Rice can carry on. We need a good partner for them Partey and Jorginho too old now so get in someone world class. New striker down the middle is a must. Havertz is not the answer in big games. Plus he is being overused atm. Left wing Trossard does not have the legs to stretch a defence. Martinelli final third play can at times be wasteful and rash but he is electric. Jesus should only play in wing. Havertz should never play in midfield. Right wing Saka needs a back up winger. Can’t expect the guy to play 60 games a season every season.
Gabriel even shouted at Raya during the Bayern game to stay focused, tell you all you need to know about the clown Raya.

Saka is overrated. Doesn't mean hes not a good and important player but he's definitely overrated. Hes incredibly one footed and is afraid to take on his man. Doesn't have much technique, can't dribble, doesn't have vision for a pass. All he does is give and go's and lateral passes. He's simply incredibly fast that likes to play on the shoulder of the fullback to get in behind and side foot it towards goal or across goal. Thats literally his only move. That's not world class. Its effective in the prem because its a league less built around skill but more speed and strength. In Europe in the Champs lge there's alot of technicians, and fullbacks that have the nuance and skill to shut down one trick ponies like Starboy. Thats why the only people who came out of tonight with credit was Odegaard and Jorginho two technicians that are technical and are leaders.
Saka has alot of work to do to improve. Alot.

I’ve been telling my mates from LAST summer that we should expect a mass cleansing of the Arsenal dressing room THIS summer. Arsenal fans can’t expect us to compete on all fronts if this Spanish Brendan Rodgers is doing things like bringing on Nketiah for Tomi. I think ESR, Nelson, Ramsdale, Tierney, Lokonga, Nketiah, Zinchenko and Partey are all on their way out. This would allow us to invest in higher level players and seriously compete in upcoming seasons

Tbh to win the PL you just need a very good defence and midfield. You don't need a great attack. City proved that in 2021 when they won the league with a false 9. The CL is whole other beast. Outside of Chelsea winning the CL, every team that won a CL had a killer forward line. Could you really imagine a front 3 of Martinelli, Havertz and Saka lifting a CL trophy?

Arsenal can't be considered a high-quality contending team without a prolific striker and /or superstar forward.
No team at this stage of competition won at this level without one.
Saka is an injured player whether Arsenal wants to admit it or not but we all have eyes and even when healthy he tends and likes to hide in tight games
Saka gets all the smoke when he actually has tangible stats of contributions to scoring and assisting. Not in his most fluent form but one thing for sure, there is no other Arsenal player CLOSE to Saka's numbers.
Martinelli needs to help take focus off Saka and deliver end product. He looks a threat but this season for him personally VERY underwhelming
