David Arkenstone - Without Wind Or Tide - from 'Solitude' - feat. The Orchid Quartet

Being intrigued by Jules Verne's idea that enough time can bring two objects together... even two ships at sea Without Wind Or Tide to propel them, is the inspiration behind this composition. I enjoyed creating the incessant staccato movement of the strings and the minimalist nature of the piece simulating the passage of time.

That is a "Lens Flare" effect in the video editing program. It happens naturally when pointing a camera lens at or near a bright light source. The effect added to the raw video creates a dreamy or atmospheric effect. If you watch the other video EMERGENCE, you'll see it more distinctly. Nice catch.
