To see these old Allied units still running in 2023 is pretty astonishing in my opinion, especially when you consider how much work Republic has lost around here and how many times this could’ve been replaced. Yet the Saturday after Thanksgiving, I found two of these Atlantics still out there tackling some heavy yard waste setouts. Each time I find these old LEs they sound better and better each time, so I hope they stick around a while longer but only time will tell. This driver didn’t want to be followed for a long time but he was still cool and let me grab this video, so this is the only one I have of this truck however I do have some other videos of Allied Pacific’s saved up to be posted at a later date. I’ll let this truck speak for itself, so sit back and enjoy the show!

For those of you unfamiliar with my channel, I document refuse trucks and equipment in my area and wherever I happen to travel. Авто/Мото
Always a banger from MTT 💯
AW in 2023? Incredible. The trucks of my childhood. Cheers!
Always so cool to see them still around!
Great Footage
Love these trucks!😊
Interesting corner mount cart tipper on the carry can.
Amazing find! Coupled with all of the classic AW Schaefers and the old Groen carts this sure felt like a blast from the past to watch. It seems every time I hear an LE, it sounds better than the last - but this one might actually take the cake haha. Coal rolling and a thriving AW logo are hard to beat. Seems like the Carry Cans are fairly small though, considering he can only tip a few 96s or a dozen extra bags before dumping. One of my favorites this year, great video!
Thanks! Sure was a step back in time finding this one, and these old Allies units always sound better and better each time. With leaves, the residents can pack their bins and bags so full but the second they’re dumped they take up much more space, it’s not necessarily that these carry cans are smaller. Glad to hear you enjoyed this one!
HOLY CRAP. that is prob one of if not the coolest truck I’ve seen in a while. That thing was ROARING, very interesting this still runs. Ex BFI?
Sure was cool to see this one! It is an original AW unit
Nice video Allied trucks are the best especially one roaring + coal rolling
Awesome video man.
still insane to me how much this thing was roaring
I know right, all the old Allied LEs around here sound fantastic
[love it
surprised that anyone would literally use any cart for yard debris
