  • Henna is a plant-derived dye that's been used for body art and cultural celebrations for thousands of years. It can also be used to achieve a semipermanent color on the nails. Henna paste is applied on the nails in a thick and even layer. The nail is covered and left to dry for an hour or overnight. Once dried, the henna is peeled off, revealing a reddish-orange stain on the nails. Results last until the nails grow out.

I was disappointed 😞 with the final look. Think henna looks better on the skin it's not really for nail art.

Henna helps make your nails stronger.. its more function than aesthetic..

as an indian, i can say that its definitely used for bits of nail art. traditionally, we cover the tips of our fingers with fresh henna, which is a little stronger. its really beautiful!

There's henna which is specifically made for nails. It comes out much more vibrant and beautiful.

Henna is not just indian , it's Arab and Amazighi as well . I think in Morocco, Algeria , Tunisia and Mauritania and Sudan is more commonly used than other Arab countries ! In Morocco, it is not just used to beautify but also to ward off the evil , and I think that the name of henna is Arab and not indian because the word is from the word that means : " soft and gentle "
