The retaining clip should be replaced. The GM part number is 15705042. Also, the new retainer can more easily be installed using an 11mm socket to push it onto the stud.
It was leaking. Sometimes they’ll lose pressure when there’s contaminants in the power steering fluid. All you gotta do is a flush and maybe replace the lines because they’ll deteriorate on the inside which causes the valves to stick
My brake booster straight up busted out the bottom or something and it now pours all fluid right out the seams of the case, all my brake fluid is super dark too. I think my whole system might be messed up but i can only afford to fix the bare minimum. I dont have the tools or experience to do all that work myself either. I have to bring it to a shop, where it would cost a metric gigaton of money to have all that done
