Since paralysis check and rock slide acc / flinch check are independent from another , the combination of 2 events is just the multiplication of their isolated odds. with that we have 6 outcomes: rockslide miss + no para rockslide miss + para rockslide hit w/out flinch + no para rockslide hit w/out flinch + para rockslide hit w/ flinch + para rockslide hit w/ flinch + no para the only 2 which result in a counter attack are rockslide miss + no para and rockslide hit w/out flinch + no para rockslide misses 10 % of the time, and paralysis triggers 25 % of the time (aka 75 % to not trigger) so the result of the first scenario is 7.5 % the result of the 2nd result that allows a counter attack is 90 % chance to hit rock slide * 40 % to not get flinched * 75 % to not get paralyzed which is 27 %. this means the total chance of a counter attack is 34.5 %. the other 4 outcomes result in no counter-attack and have a combined probability of 65.5 %.

@@quentincl2932I did the calcs, the only situation where the Combee gets the KO there is if the Blaziken had little to no investment in defenses and the Combee had max investment in attack while wearing a choice band.

the only 2 that result in being attacked are "rockslide misses" + "paralysis does not occur" and "rockslide hits with no flinch" + "no paralysis".
Since paralysis check and rock slide acc / flinch check are independent from another , the combination of 2 events is just the multiplication of their isolated odds.
with that we have 6 outcomes:
rockslide miss + no para
rockslide miss + para
rockslide hit w/out flinch + no para
rockslide hit w/out flinch + para
rockslide hit w/ flinch + para
rockslide hit w/ flinch + no para
the only 2 which result in a counter attack are rockslide miss + no para and rockslide hit w/out flinch + no para
rockslide misses 10 % of the time, and paralysis triggers 25 % of the time (aka 75 % to not trigger) so the result of the first scenario is 7.5 %
the result of the 2nd result that allows a counter attack is
90 % chance to hit rock slide * 40 % to not get flinched * 75 % to not get paralyzed which is 27 %.
this means the total chance of a counter attack is 34.5 %.
the other 4 outcomes result in no counter-attack and have a combined probability of 65.5 %.
