Great update, been back to Lanark for 3 weeks so nice to see the progress and how much busier it's getting. Today it's been circa 10 degrees and very wet so much so that we went to see Bad Boys at the Vue in Livingston. What's happening at The Mountain View Farm as they have gone very quiet?

Doing okay. Been walking down to the Keeper in the evenings! See what you mean about the fake merchandise sellers. It's crazy as they take up so much of the prom! Seem to be friendly with the restaurants 🤔

Hi Barry. I visited Torrevieja in October 2021. It was ok during the day but a bit quiet at night. Are there many tourists between November to March or would Alicante or Benidorm be a better location to stay over the autumn/winter period?
2021 was still “the Covid years” over the winter is pesonally say Alicante as it’s a bigger City. But that’s my choice. Benidorm would be pensioners paradise if that’s your thing. But then it’s colder at night. From feb/April I’d say go to Tenerife 😂😂😂
@@ScottishCoupleInSpain thanks Barry. I love the Canary islands - great weather - but I've kind of done Tenerife do death! It has also become very expensive since Covid. Keep up the vlogs of new places on the Costas!
Just to add, Torrevieja in December is pretty good. The Christmas fiestas start mid December and carry on through until 1st week of January, 3 Kings day. Always something going on. November can be quiet and January very quiet. Come February, Carnival is around the corner so again it can have busier spells.
Will they have the Firework display this June for the fiesta. It was cancelled last year at the last minute.

I thought it was holiday season. It is more residential where you are. Tbf that's better than getting hozrdes of tourists.
The buses sure ain't gonna be an improvement by the look of it, you'll have to change buses every 300 metres to actually get anywhere, from los balcones to the bus station could be as many as 4 buses but at least 3 instead of the original 1. Bloody joke if that happens

We do miss some things about the town but we wouldn’t live right in the busy tourist centre like we did before.

@@ScottishCoupleInSpain No, It seems to me there is huge flood of people flooding in here from the rest of Europe, I’ve been in Estapona they’ve Investing a lot of money there, Spain is crowded, look at property prices,?
@@barryoneill-ec9zzthey’re investing a lot, over the last couple years and for the next few years there’s also ongoing investment in the area.
@@ScottishCoupleInSpain Looks like Im going to buy a property here , I missed the boat down in Estepona, I’ve heard bad things about this area, mostly true, But If they go and invest here, it will a great spot.

It's a building site crime is rife and a slum
Bit harsh. lol. We lived there for 2 years and in all honesty, crime wasn’t something that was a worry at all. No more no less than any large town in any region. We always felt very safe living and socialising there.
Total tosh Torrevieja a slum, you must be joking.
