They did say on TVD that nature/witches will never allow anything TRULY immortal to walk the earth. Hence whatever weakness end up coming up/showing up along the way. The original family may be the closest thing to being truly immortal, but there will always be something/someone that can kill even them.
Jer, I think the thing that makes this Ex Machina thing work is that nature/the witches are always trying to find a way to rid the world of ‘these abominations’. The biggest threat to the Originals is their existence.
Fully agree that the broken relationship between Marcel and Elijah is so heartbreaking. It’s hard to watch cause of how much they worked together in season 3. Elijah is very much paranoid now that Marcel is a threat when he’s really not so he’s being very Klaus like and taking premature measures. When I watch season 3 now, knowing what their relationship becomes it makes me sad
Lapis lazuli is the stone that has to be spelled for daylight rings to work. Idk if you could make lapis into clothing without changing it and then the enchantment wouldn't work, so you'd have to make it into some form of jewelry
Marcel felt truly unstoppable. So Klaus showing a weapon that can kill him just removed a lot of his confidence. Its like someone you know you can physically beat steps up to you. Your like this wont even be a fight dont try. Then they pull a gun out... Your going to be immediately thrown off and far more cautious.
Love the Freya + Keelin moments. Marcel will always be Klaus's son, no matter what they're family. The collapse of Elijah and Marcel's relationship is heartbreaking, no better word for it. "You can probably think where im going with this" "Anal beads" I did not think that was where it was going
I’m glad Klaus and Marcel resisted the urge to kill each other and give the Hollow what it wanted. I get that they locked Marcel up, because they think he is a danger to them, but is he though? He’s really shown no initiative in going after and killing any of them since they’ve been back. After they rescued Klaus, he just seems to want them gone. That speech to Marcel that Elijah gave at the end of the episode was a little weird to me. Elijah admitted in the season 3 finale that he was at fault for Marcel taking the serum, and now he’s being super mean to him saying that he doesn’t want or need him as part of the family, when he still hasn’t even apologized to him for having a hand in what happened to Davina or killing him last season. It’s one thing for Elijah to feel remorse for what happened to Marcel in private, which I think he does, but he should show it to Marcel as well, instead of just berating him constantly.
@@pearlspouch4219yeah me to I always like marcel the thing is he had many reasons to against the mikaelson’s he wanted to teach them a lesson that many others have tried but failed at he was the only one to pull through his promise and teach them a desperate lesson on how they behave towards others.
I mean in the end it's still tied back to the white oak, since Marcel's new power is created with the white oak bullett and the thorns come from Marcel's blood. But I do agree with the "oh a new weapon kinda out of nowhere" thing in general.
I love how your mind works.. But Idt that theory of the daylight rings, to use undies and etc.. You would have to add the lapis lazuli stone with it.. Thats how they made the daylight rings
Im going to keep saying this Freya and Elijah didn’t kill Davina u can’t kill someone who was already dead. Kol is the only Mikaelson who killed davina
Agreed, they could have done it a little better. Not just come up with ways to kill the originals in ways that don’t make sense. They are the OG immortals, only one thing are supposed to kill them. Ofc them being cursed etc makes sense. But not getting killed by it. :)
I've wondered is Marcel as strong as Lucien was because Klaus couldn't do a thing to damage Lucien and couldn't fight him as well as that. I know he's still stronger than the other Originals but is he as powerful as Lucien? The Hollow had some serious Silas vibes with the visions.
@@johnwalkeristhatdude3018 Yeah that's what I was always wondering about. So basically the spell made them like a vampire similar to an Original, but their strength from before they turned amplified it more making them even stronger than Originals. So Marcel only being 200 years old makes him stronger now than Elijah but Klaus being the Hybrid is like more equal in a fight.
I think the originals aren’t as PC as Damon, Stefan, Elena, etc. So they don’t feed from blood bags, they feed from humans. And I do agree that it’s annoying how weak the originals were made in this show.
they probably just looked too powerful to us on tvd cause they only went against damon, stephen, elena etc, who were just regular not powerful. But here they go against very powerful dark magic every time, it's not the same.
@@YenellyT yeah that’s probably it. But still, in season 1, Klaus was fighting Marcel who is just 200 years old (just a little bit older than Damon and Stefan) so why didn’t he just kill him and get it over with.
The romance between Rebekah and Marcel feels so odd with everyone calling Marcel Klaus' son 🥴 God, I love Sofya so muuuuuch! In my head canon it's her and Klaus. Even if I love him with Cami.
@@pearlspouch4219 They had amazing chemistry, and I wish I could say more without spoiling Jer and everyone else who haven't watched the entire show yet... 🥴

"I saved children. I should be given a medal." Reason 10000 why I love Klaus
Klaus in tvd: I don't care about anyone.
Klaus in TO: *Fighting at all cost to save his kid*
Klaus loves Marcel. Even through all the bad times. That's his son. Mikael or the Hollow telling him to kill his kid isn't exactly pleasant
Jer noticing the tension between Freya and Keelin is hilarious 😂😂😂
“You would show mercy to the enemy???”
Klaus: 👁👄👁
Man could barely take a breath before Mikael came for his neck.💀
And Freya’s bi panic this whole episode is amazing 😂

I like that they keep the actor who plays Mikael on the payroll, he's really good in the role

They probably aren't feeding as much because they're older so maybe they don't need to feed as much or as often as younger vampires.
