Fun fact: Tonnerre 2 Zeus used to operate with the same bag policy as Goudurix where you had to take your bags with you up until August. I visited in early August and you had to keep your bags with you. In late August, however, it was no longer the case. I asked an operator and she told me it was because bags' straps were sometimes sticking out of the trains. I remember my bag having airtime once too... Glad they changed it and I hope they can add carts to Goudurix too.
Love this series! Glad you enjoyed the park so much and toutatis looks incredible! If you ever plan on doing a US trip I would recommend doing a segment in central US around Ohio so you can’t visit Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kentucky Kingdom, and Holiday world, maybe even Six Flags Great American if you can fit that in, and then head down to Florida to get Universal and Busch Gardens. If you liked Toutatis so much I can only imagine your thoughts on Velocicoaster! If you can, Arie Force One and Fury 325 are not too far from Florida and those are both insane rides as well. The US is absolutely stacked and I can’t wait to see you visit one day!
I went there when I was a kid before they had toutatis and oziris. I remember doing their spooky dark ride, which has since been removed, and their big water ride
when i visited in june there wasnt a backwards seat on tonnerre 2 zeus also I think they might have removed it. anyway my reaction to toutatis was exactly the same as yours sitting on the break run - it's my number 1 as well 😄
Screw Paris, this is literally the only reason I ever need to visit France 🤣... OK, maybe some provencial countryside or something, but we all know the real reason! I DEVOURED every Asterix & Obelisk comic written before 1994...
Goldstriker (CGA) is also rough as hell but such an amazing woodie... Its in my top 5 and my top wooden. Zeus looks like a similar ride! I was so sad I couldnt find the time/finances to sneak in a ride on Leviathan when I was back home on the Sunny Coast in February. Would've been nice to compare.... Let me know when you eventually make it to California! I'll make the trip to the Big Smoke to show you around SFDK and CGA (if they still exist by then, ha)
Gosh I keep commenting.... But that last POV on Toutatis is just... *chefs kiss*. I was lucky enough to ride Velocicoaster last year and it looks even better than that TBH.
Great episode, looks a fantastic park.

I’ve been looking forward to this episode, and it didn’t disappoint. And you got a back rub from Obelix!!!
Great vlog!!! Keep it up!!!
This is such a cool concept for vlogs, good luck with visiting all of the countries that have roller coasters 🎢

I haven’t been to park Asterix but I agree that the inversions look slow on oziris. But the theming is good I guess.
I'd definitely say that's the ride's biggest weakness. Particularly those rolls, which could be so whippy but they just... aren't?
@@MaloneysCoastersits because it's a newer gen b&m invert opened in 2012 and they focus more on being graceful and less forceful

you face looks like that of a viking when riding goudurix 🤣
BTW the roll on Toutatis is almost identical to the removed roll from Maverick, but with lap bars 😀
nah the maverick roll looks way faster than toutatis's
but that's a better comparison to it than velocicoasters mosasourus roll
Sorry, I think you added the question marks by mistake (I love this park, in my opinion it is miles better than Disneyland)
Does maloney do the coastle?
Of course! Maloney always does the coastle
