Hi! So, i'm kinda in a corner where all the videos i found, none have solved my problem. It turns out yesterday CS2 had an update, i played just fine today. I left game to do some stuff at home and when i tried to open the game again, this error appeared. What is more curious, i don't even have launch configurations so there was nothing to erase. I also tried to see if i needed to update my nvidea driver but it was already updated. As you said, directX itself is not the problem, even though i'm still on W11, my DX is 12 but in the diagx it supports 'till dx10. I found a video saying I should create a variant on my system config (OPENSSL_ia32cap - 0x20000000) and i did so, but also it did not worked. If by any chance you know what is happening and if more people is having the same issue, would you mind making a new video?
@@izzylie same with me as the above guy told yesterday there was update for cs2 as well as for my gpu drivers too. now idk what either causing the issue. gpy~ 1660 super, plz do share if u find out.
probably the "update" path. you may want to download either the latest drivers, or the previous driver, since 1660 is an ancient card and they don't actually introduce anything new in the driver anyway - and then either a) install it with clear installation ticked in the installer advanced mode or b) first use DDU to remove old drivers and install the new ones from the offline installer you donwloaded
I found out that the problem was simpler than expected. My GPU for reasons i don't understand slightly disengaged from the socket, hence why it was detected but still not able to perform. @@izzylie

Didn’t work for me either. It might have something to do with me being on win 8.1 but I doubt it I play a lot of games that have the requirement of win 10 or above. I just checked and I have direct x 11 only thing I can think of is just not having a strong enough gpu as I barely ran the first game but it should still launch

@@izzylie I don't have a graphic card, just this poor i5 with the integrated GPU (I live in Brazil, there are no "cheap" gaming PCs here lol) and I think it was supposed to work normally, I think it must be a driver error, but even so I checked in Windows update and it is in the latest version, I'll try to run Driver Booster or some similar program
because driver pack utilities do not care or have any brain, and they will install outdated (like 10+ yrs old) drivers making your pc a complete garbage. just download intel hd driver from intel website and run it
