It seems almost ironic that there so many pianist youtube channels out there, but only very few of them really teaches you something useful, and you man are one of them 💪🙏
I gotta say, I won't be here in my place right now without you. From the beginning I didn't knew how to play the Piano or Keyboard, then I decided to learn it. Problem being I didn't have any teacher or instructor to teach me how. But, thank God that I found your channel. And from your tutorials I learned. It was a really hard and full of trials and errors. Still after overcoming one trial you have another one to challenge me with, which causes me to be inspired and motivated. After a long long way, I managed to be here, looking behind my hardships. It sure does feel nostalgic. I owe it all to you! I am very blessed that you continue to share your talent. I can't thank you enough. God bless you very much!
One crucial thing is missing. All such exercises demonstrate in C the easiest scale but when we practice the black keys diff scale, we have hard time arranging the fingering. So always immediately add Cb and Ab scales in the demonstration, the next time. Great exercises, I have saved many such videos in my playlist, all I need is a consistent-disciplined practice.
He already said you should practice these exercises in all keys. Its not necessary to show but in one key. Funny story,, i actually learned first play on the black keys and not so much the white. I was self taught years ago but my fingering was not so good and consistent because i had no formal instruction. Now years later im working on discipline of correct fingering.
Am really glad to meet you in RUclips. Still following your teachings. Am just a localist keyboard player because I didn't went for any piano teaching class but am really enjoying this lesson especially the white keys Am really poor there but because am following please take me slowly for me to catch them and I will appreciate
Sir, ran onto you channel after looking for material on how to play my recently purchased piano (Yamaha PSR E363). I'm a totally piano beginner and had not clue where to start. Thanks to you, sir! I'm sort of gaining the understanding of what I need to do to go further in my piano playing quest. These exercises are of great fortunate for beginners like myself. Please keep them coming...
Such a useful lesson. I ve been teaching myself piano too and find the exercise books are way too dry. I wait for more videos from you. Thank you very much!
This BestWay2LearnPiano.blogspot.com is one of the most popular online piano courses online and has helped over 250,000 students around the world achieve their dream of playing beautiful piano for over a decade.
I have been looking around for good tips and exercises for beginners like me and finally I found one of the most useful. I subscribe immediately. Also, because I like to challenge myself, I would be doing this exercises in other keys. Big thanks.
interesting points ,if anyone else needs to find out about best piano courses try EasyPianoLessons5.blogspot.com Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.
The star Spangler banner was incredible I can't wait to try tomorrow. You are just wonderful I am starting at lesson 1 and not stopping till I have done all beginner lessons. Thank you.
I find myself re visiting this and going through each exercise I’m able to do and I just want to thank you for this video. Such a great exercise regimen! Feels great to be stretching those fingers like that
Dear, I’m a subscriber of your channel and I appreciate your -“free of charge work“. I already learned a lot here. Like Michael, I also like to encourage you to show triads with “black” notes. You really will be "the first one" in Yt. to do this. Look at the circle of 5th and go around; perhaps with a series of tutorials. This will help beginners like me very much. And don’t forget the 12 minor triads. Kind Regards!
Yes I have heard the octave double bass for many , many years in the Black Churches and I play the octave double bass too it sounds is beautiful Glory!
I taught myself to use the 3rd finger instead of the 4th on the left hand in most arpeggio lines and now it is really weak and useless for most jobs. Time to put those exercises in practice and buff it up :) Thank you.
Very helpful sir thank you for your time and efforts to teach piano lessons.thanks a lot. I am curious to know more arpeggios pattern sir please make tutorials on different type of rhythm like March rhythm so on
Very great exercises but it would be perfect to show the whole notes at the side which the notes doesn't change while you play. Or have the keys for each exercises written at the description would be great too. For example: Exercise 1 RH: C4E4G4C5 | C5G4E4C4|.... I'm a slow learner, had to keep slowing down the video and repeating it multiple times to get all the notes you're playing. Anyway love your videos... they are amazing!!
Someone else beat me to it, but thank you from me also. I am 58 and just beginning at piano, and your videos really make me think, on a lot of levels. For instance, in another video you demonstrate practicing inversions using a I - IV - V pattern that eventually covers all the inversions. I went down earlier today to try it because it looked like it was right up my alley, but it was far too advanced for my level. I will try to capture/record/write down these exercises, because I think they are more at my level. Your videos encourage/require that I figure things out for myself. That can be a little inconvenient at times, but I feel the mental musical muscles get a workout, and I am grateful.
Omg you’re the best Teacher i ever seen, thank you so much...❤️❤️❤️🥰🙏 Im a guitar player and i just bought a piano like 5 days ago, it’s going pretty good all because of you...😂 Anyways i wanted to thank you, and keep up the great work...🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💕💕 And to the piano beginners (like me ) don’t give up, and just practice, I believing ya 😍😍🥰🥰🥰👍🏻
Thanks for the Video very helpful :) One Tipp would be time stamps so you could Switch between excecises and find the ones you're currently practicing more easily
I wish I had discovered your video sooner. I find showing the movement of the notes on both staffs extremely helpful for a beginner like me. Thanks a million.
Merci beaucoup. This is greatly appreciated. I'm just starting out and have seen several of your videos that were out of my pay grade, but I trooped through several since I see what can be accomplished. I'd like to apply these to other scales also. BTW I am colour blind, and you use blue on the keyboard above. This video you didn't use any black notes, but it is hard for me to distinguish a blue colour with another dark colour. It would be better if you used yellow. Thanks.
The best piano teacher on RUclips. Straight to the core. Crystal explanation. Sir, thank you for creating the content.
You're welcome, John.
This helps me so much! I’m a senior citizen just taking up piano and really appreciate your lessons!

So far you are the best teacher I have to get.
I like everything about your delivering.
You're just the best.

Yep, but if I included all those scales this would be a 40 minute video and no one would watch it ... :(
@@MangoldProject not all of them, at least one, like Ab. So begin with the easiest C scale, then show one Ab or Db
@@MangoldProject C has become too basic very fast for beginners and we need to practice fingering on black keys
Thats what the transpose button is for lol. Ofcourse if you have an acoustic piano your out of luck!
He already said you should practice these exercises in all keys. Its not necessary to show but in one key. Funny story,, i actually learned first play on the black keys and not so much the white.
