9:55 this is Pentagram City on the Pride ring of Hell. In the hazbin universe, Hell is divided in 7 rings stacked on top of each other and are ruled by a prince of each sin. The pride ring, where Hazbin Hotel takes place, is the top one and is ruled by Lucifer. Also sinners, unlike hellborn demons, can not leave the pride ring and go to other rings. In the other show on the same universe, Helluva Boss, the rings of wrath, gluttony, greed, lust and sloth were already showed, as well the princes Asmodeus(lust), Mammon(greed) and the princess Bee-lzebub(gluttony). Satan(wrath) and Belphegor(sloth) were mencioned and we have no information on the envy ring.
To add to this the 9 circles of Hell are concentric circles, within the rings. Pentagram city, where Hazbin takes place is in the first circle, the bullseye, of the Pride ring, and Imp City where crew of Helluva Boss is based is in the Second circle. Also yes that is Heaven in the sky.
It's hilarious to me that they had to lock humans into the Pride Ring because sinners grew so much more bold and powerful as history progressed that they overthrew the entire demonic government of Pride aside from Lucifer, himself lol. Humanity is a bunch of unhinged feral animals and even the damn hellborn are scared of us.

I always assumed it takes more energy to be in that form so they can’t do it all the time or they’d overexert themselves. Its also possible the "true forms" depend on emotions. Since we only got a peek at Angels when he was really mad at Husk. But I'd imagine stronger Sinners have a little more control over it
I would think it's more of hiding their powers. If people knew your powers and form, they can counter it and control you. But if people don't know how your form works, they can't fight against it and won't recklessly attack.
Also, his true form is based on a Wendigo or the Rougarou since he's from New Orleans. Which means he was a cannibal in life. A head canon I've thought about is what if he's the New Orleans Axe Man?
Fun fact when designing Alastor Vizzy was thinking of the song "You're never fully dressed without a smile" so thats one reason behind his permanent smile.
So Alastor's design is, at least partially, based off a Wendigo, a cryptid that comes about through Cannibalism. In Life Alastor was not only a Serial Killer but also a Cannibal. The only reason he ended up dying is because he stopped to eat his latest kill, where he was shot by a hunter that mistook him for a Deer.
Vivziepop has a HUGE fanbase that's exploded over the last few years because of her dedication to her characters. I am so happy to see more people getting excited about this show because I personally think the kindness of her fanbase had a big hand in killing "cringe" culture and letting people just enjoy things (plus I appreciate the questioning of institutional religion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

In this universe there's 7 Rings of Hell ruled by the different Sins, and human sinners go to the Pride Ring. Sinners can only stay in the Pride Ring but other Hellborn can travel between the Rings. The other rings like Wrath, Gluttony, Lust etc are below and are ruled by their own manifestation of that Sin. It's explained further in Vivzie's other show Helluva Boss! And i'm pretty sure that is their 'moon'. The white one is the Heaven Embassy i'm pretty sure, unless it's Heaven idk someone correct me if i'm wrong edit: yeah okay it’s heaven lol
the angelic planet is heaven itself the embassy is just a building in hell inside of said building in the background is a "Globe" of heaven that matches the angelic planet so we can assume its a model of heaven

The TV guy's name is Vox, (edit: forgot the song said his name XD), he is an Overlord like Alastor and Valentino, not gonna fully explain what an overlord is since the show will (but do note the it doesnt really explain the hierarchy) but all you need to know is they are on somewhat equal footing. What i wanna talk is something the show doesn't really say much on and is more something we know from behind the scenes info, that being Alastor's human life. to put simply, he was a serial killer and implied cannibal. The pentagram you paused on is the Pride Ring of hell. There are rings for all the sins, like Lust, Greed, Gluttony, etc. Hazbin Hotel happens to take place in the Pride ring, also you fucking nailed the city's name, it is called Pentagram city. Or if you count the rumors saying that Charlie is about 400 then I guess you could be right. But Lucifer and Lilith both agreed to the exterminations and asked for Charlie and any other hellborn demons to be spared.
That glowing place in the sky is not the gate that the exorcists come through. They create a portal to get to Hell. That spot is actually Heaven far off across the abyss that separates Hell from Heaven. The Pride Ring is the upper most ring of Hell and where all sinners go. There's a story driven reason for making Heaven visible to the ring which houses sinners. It's a form of torture to remind them where they could have gone.

It makes them easier to exterminate and gives them a view of the place where they could have gone if they'd done good. All of the other Rings are Hellborn exclusive places. The X on Alastors head could either mean he got shot in the head by a hunter or it could be that he was using his demonic powers. Also the reason he looks like that big demon form is because he got mistaken for a deer and died and the wendigo is like a deer so the wendigo is Alastor's demon form.
This is my second video of yours I’ve seen, and honestly I think you’re very refreshing as a sort of react RUclipsr. I’ve only seen two vids so idk if you make other stuff, but, the general enthusiasm and genuine enjoyment really makes the music videos more enjoyable to watch instead of the usually cut and dry responses. I believe Alastar has a lot of similarities to a Windigo. A evil Spirit from Native American folk lore that possesses Individuals causing them to indulge in cannibalism. They are described as being gaunt, long limbed, with Ashened skin, pointed ears and deer antlers. Loving your hazbin reaction vids! Unfortunately the cryptid that has been popularized isn't from Native American folklore. It's a bastardization of a mistranslated concept that's about society and culture, not individuals. So depictions of the wendigo as a cannibalistic deer person is generally not taken well. It'd be like if you tried explaining free market economics to aliens and they responded "oh yeah! The music man! We've seen that play" and then they conquered the world and anytime "the economy" was depicted in their media it was a show-tune singing conman in a striped hat. TL/DR Depictions of Wendigo as a cryptid are all culturally insensitive because the Wendigo isn't a cryptid.

I think all of the Hazbin Hotel fans have theorized that Alastor is a Wendigo, which is a urban legend. Him being the Radio demon and being a overlord Wendigo is a wonderful character designing, his species, how he died, and who he was before his death makes Alastor into such a thought out well designed character, I'm not saying that he's the only one, all of them have a striking design and backstory, but personally the attraction towards Alastor and in general himself is a interesting and strike-a-nerve character in which I absolutely love!
Non - Spoiler context The way Hell works is different, there are new overlords (The tv head guy, the moth man etc) And then there are old overlords, The old ones are generally more powerful because of their experience and Time, not a spoiler but later in the series you'll see an overlord who's from the Shakespearean era, Who's mighty in power and speaks old English..... And then That's why Vox (Tv head guy) was almost beaten by Alastor if i put it in a non spoiler way, ofcourse other factors were there but we weren't given any more details on their "previous battle". After the previous battle Alastor disappeared for 7 years, no one knows why, even we don't know, But some theories are there. Anyway, hope this helped clear out the fog ❤.
Alastor is the red radio demon (my personal fav) he is so cool and charismatic and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! but anyways he is a deer because when he was alive he was a serial killer and when burying a body in the woods a hunter mistakenly took him for a deer and shot him (that’s why when he transforms there’s a red x on his forehead and you can see him transform in the song Stayed Gone) he also posses a radio voice and eyes because he was a radio show host when he was alive! I just watched this series for the first time the other day, and I loved this song. Honestly Alastor is one of the most interesting and sinister villains/anti-heroes I've seen in quite some time. It is rare to see a character this wonderfully twisted. If I were to change anything about this little song, I'd have had Alastor slip in a little threatening "I will see you soon." to Vox right at the very end, just have him really wet himself.

“Now his medium is bloody rare” is honestly a pretty clever line and I haven’t really seen anyone acknowledge that (but I’ve only rewatched this song and read the comments like 5 times. Maybe 5 more and I’ll see a couple comments)
a Sinner's/Demon's form usually has to do with their Life before they died and how they died. So for instance, Alastor was a Radio Host in New Orleans, Louisiana during the 1920's to early 1930's, but he was also a Cannibalistic Serial Killer. Alastor died one night when he was burying the body of one of his victims in the Forest because a Hunter out at night mistook him for a Deer and shot him right between the eyes. This is how Alastor gets his persona, he is the Radio Demon and has aspects of Radio due to his job as a radio Host, his clothes and dress are similar to a 1920's Creole man from New Orleans, his skin is very greyish pale because he was a cannibal and his hoofprints, antlers and such because he was shot being mistaken for a deer. Now for Vox, Vox died in the 1950's, judging from his TV appearance and personality we can surmise he was probably a TV Producer, Director or Host of some sort, his outfit is very much like a 1950's Tuxedo suit used by TV hosts and judging from his electrical affinity we can surmise he was probably electrocuted...... Also Alastor's full Demon mode is supposed to resemble a Wendigo......a Demonic Creature that feeds on Human Flesh.....

I adore Alastor's level of creepy so much at the end of this song. When he's showing his full demon form, he kind of reminds me of some depictions of a wendigo (spirit of Algonquian folklore with insatiable hunger and cannibalistic, depending on the source) and I have to wonder if that was intentional or not.
I forget where I read it, but someone pointed out that Vox sang about the status quo BEFORE Alastor joined the song...so Al had some way of listening in on Vox from the beginning.
It's not in the show, just stuff people have picked up from Q&As with the creators, but apparently the lore on Alastor is that he was some kind of Dexter-like serial killer in the 30s as well as a radio personality, and that he died in a hunting accident while trying to bury a body in a hunting ground (see the red X on his forehead). Apparently dogs had something to do with his death so maybe a hound bayed on finding him and the hunter fired at the shape in the woods. And also why Alastor is a demonic deer.
Fun fact if someone hasn't pointed it out already the end of the song is Alister quoting Vox at the beginning of the song. However the beginning of the song was before Vox went on the air meaning that Alistor has a way to listen to Vox before he goes live and might potentially always be listening to him.
If you really listen to Alastor's part at the end, you'll hear a noise behind the singing, behind the music. It's a high-pitched screech. That would be the sound a Wendigo makes. If you don't know, a Wendigo is a human that turns into a wolf. However, instead of just the full moon, it transforms during the three phases of the full moon: the night before, the night of, and the night after. They prey on people in love whose blood type is AB-. After transforming, they feast on their hearts on each of the three nights. They're like werewolves but meaner. And yes, I did get this info from the original Charmed series. I can't help but love the show.
Much like how Valentino has monopolized the porn industry, and Alastor monopolized radio, Vox here is in charge if TV. He teamed up with Valentino and a social media demon named Velvette to get a stranglehold on Hell's media, but Alastor didn't want to join them. That wide shot if of Pentagram City, the largest city in the Pride Ring of Hell. There are seven rings of Hell, with Pride being home to the earthborne sinners. That golden building in the center of town is the Heaven Embassy (which, if you're reacting to Hell is Forever next, you'll see very soon) and the white moon in the sky is Heaven. We still haven't been told what the red moon with a pentagram on it is about.
Most powerful or high ranking Demons and Angels have unique Transformations, Alastors Demon Form just so happens to make him more Violent than the other ones
Alastor was apparently the first of these characters, originally as a deer LONG before Hazbin existed. Nowadays, as you can see, he’s more of a Wendigo. You can also hear the scream of an elk whenever he starts transforming.

There's also a sister series on youtube called Helluva Boss that has songs. It's entered the realm of questionably canon since they take place in the same hell technically but then the show got picked up so who knows.
Alastor is a Radio star who grew up following the principles his mother taught him, to smile in any situation against adversity. He did manage to become a radio star but once she died he also murdered anyone who comprimised his radio broadcast. He died being mistaken for a deer during one of his murders which is why he takes on the form of one but it's also a pun on a deer caught on the headlights because he projects being in control.
I forgot where I saw it, but someone had said (as a theory ) that Alastor is based on a Wendigo (monster) and/or he was a radio DJ in life that was mistaken for a deer while in the woods and shot in the head and that's why he has deer features.

Alastor doesn't walk around like that because he doesn't have to. He has established that he has piwer and that he is not to be messed with so he doesn't need to flaunt it 24/7 which tells you just confident and dangerous he can be.
Al died in the 30s just when radio was getting more popular hence his radio ascetic He was a serial killer/cannibal killed when mistaken for an elk while disposing of a body. Shot in the head hence the x between his eyes. If you look at most characters you can kinda tell how they died. Like Nifty. 3 bullets to the chest area
Alastor died in the 20's during the radio era and was a radio host in his life who broadcast his Dexter-style murders of fellow murderers and serial killers. Vox died in the 70's and was heavily involved with the rise of television and tv propaganda. Alastor is the the most powerful Overlord in hell but Vox, Val, and Velvette teamed up and combined their powers which are all related to social media/tv/movies and together matched him. Vox originally wanted Alastor to join them since together they'd control all the major media but Alastor despises technology, hunts killers and abusers for sport, and thinks all 3 Vs are trashy (He's right lol). Vox and Alastor had a full on war 7 years ago that nearly killed both of them. Alastor had to retreat to hide and heal before the other 2 Vs found him. He came back knowing he needed to find powerful alliances of his own, which led him to Charlie.
Like you mentioned at the beginning of the video, sinner's appearance in hell is a combination of who they were in life and how they died. In Alastor's case, he was both a very popular Radio host in 1930's Louisiana and a VERY infamous serial killer though the public never connected the two identities together. He would hunt the more predatory aspectects of human society, similar to Dexter, purely for his own amusement. He ended up being killed when he was burying a body in the woods during deer hunting season and a hunting dog got attracted to the smell of blood and flushed him out, leading to a hunter headshotting him by accident. Alastor has held a grudge against both deer and dogs ever since. His trademark ears, feet and horns are a mark of how he was mistaken for a deer and the red x that shows up when he goes full demon shows where the bullet that killed him struck.
10:08 I want to add to what others have said. This is one of the 9 circles WITHIN the Ring of Pride. While there are 7 rings, and Pride has 9 circles within it, it's unclear if each ring also has 9 circles in it.
The best part about alastor’s ending is that he’s speaking to vox directly which means he messed up all the tvs and all the internet techs without messing up voxs screen. He also put down his staff so this is OFF THE RECORD! This is one of the few times he uses his actual voice and not his voice through the radio staff.
Everyone with some level of power in hell has their typical form they use on a daily basis, while also being able to augment their form a bit (like we see Angel dust growing eyes when he gets mad) to fully changing their appearance as with we see with Alistor here in this song becoming more beast like, tho depending on their power level they can change more of themselves or even grow larger/become smaller (as we see with Bee, Ozzy, and Mammon from Helluva Boss). But this has only been shown to us so far and (to my knowledge) hasn’t been confirmed by Viv, so technically every sinner/hell born has a “demon” form as I call it where they look more menacing
10:00 This is basicly the main city (Pentagram City) of the Pride Ring. Sinners are only allowed to stay here, the other six Rings belong to the hellspawn. They can come into Pentagram City too, but they stay mostly out of it. Its the most chaotic and violent place in Hell anyway. But Sinners, if not killed by angelic weapons, are unable to die, so they do regular turf wars and stuff.
the thing about Alastor and his "true" form is something like a theory. before every demon appeared in hell, as you said, has some kind of backstory. Alastor was living probably around the beggining of 20th century, because, as he said in pilot ''I haven't been that desired since the crash of stock in 1929 hahahaha. so many orphans''. Alastor was cannibal and his form represents the Wendigo. if you google Wendigo, you will know, how it looks and that in one "religion" Wendigo is an evil spirit, who takes control of people, who come to cannibalism. Alastor's form probably represents the Wendigo
without spoiling too much, this song follows the overlord (powerful demon) Vox, not a lot is known about Vox, pretty much all of his lore can be found in this song, other then he had a past with Alastor and is now his rival, he is known as the "TV demon" and has control of all Voxtech technology, specifically TV and Camera's, owns a company called Voxtech and works together with Velvette (who mostly works in the social media and model industry) and Valentino (who ofc works in the adult film industry). Velvette, Vox and Valentino often get referred to as "The Vees"
What makes this funnier is that this episode the song is from is called radio killed the video star the city they live in is called pentagram City it is just like the capital but there's other cities and there is 7 rings of hell and this is the pride ring
It could be how he died, but I doubt it, it's more probable that it was how he lived that influenced Vox to have a TV head. esp. when we look at some other Sinners and what forms they take. Angel Dust= he died due to drug overdose. While taking the name of the drug as his new name, there's not really any physical traits connected to how he died. Angel and his siblings all have spider forms, Vivzi has stated before that reason is because they were part of a Mafia family when alive and the spider form reflects the "web of crime" they had when alive. Alastor= He was a radio personality that lived in New Orleans. He was also a cannibalistic serial killer who hid the bodies of his victims in a field and was shot by a deer hunter. His sinner form has some traits that connect to how he died: antlers, hoofed footprints, hair tuffs looks like deer ears, X on his forehead. But what he's known as is "the Radio Demon", his powers lie there, his eyes look like radio dials, his voice sounds like coming from a radio and has that staff. Add in the traits that would fit a cannibal, plus when he transforms(sharp teeth, predatory traits, blood dripping out of mouth) it looks more like a wendigo (creature folklore says a human transforms into after becoming a cannibal). Thus the bigger influence on his form is how he lived. My theory is that Vox was a big player in developing TV or was a TV personality (which would play off being counter to Alastor) during his life, the early days of TV (he died in the 50s)
If you're going to get into the show I suggest you watch the pilot first instead of the first episode because I'm pretty sure the pilot is still Cannon

In the hazbin universe, Hell is divided in 7 rings stacked on top of each other and are ruled by a prince of each sin. The pride ring, where Hazbin Hotel takes place, is the top one and is ruled by Lucifer. Also sinners, unlike hellborn demons, can not leave the pride ring and go to other rings.
In the other show on the same universe, Helluva Boss, the rings of wrath, gluttony, greed, lust and sloth were already showed, as well the princes Asmodeus(lust), Mammon(greed) and the princess Bee-lzebub(gluttony). Satan(wrath) and Belphegor(sloth) were mencioned and we have no information on the envy ring.
To add to this the 9 circles of Hell are concentric circles, within the rings. Pentagram city, where Hazbin takes place is in the first circle, the bullseye, of the Pride ring, and Imp City where crew of Helluva Boss is based is in the Second circle. Also yes that is Heaven in the sky.
It's hilarious to me that they had to lock humans into the Pride Ring because sinners grew so much more bold and powerful as history progressed that they overthrew the entire demonic government of Pride aside from Lucifer, himself lol. Humanity is a bunch of unhinged feral animals and even the damn hellborn are scared of us.

A lot of demons in this universe have stronger “true forms” or ultimate forms or whatever, but they only pull them out when they need them.
I always assumed it takes more energy to be in that form so they can’t do it all the time or they’d overexert themselves.
Your idea could certainly be true too, being charismatic and approachable is Alastor’s whole thing
Its also possible the "true forms" depend on emotions. Since we only got a peek at Angels when he was really mad at Husk. But I'd imagine stronger Sinners have a little more control over it

I would think it's more of hiding their powers. If people knew your powers and form, they can counter it and control you. But if people don't know how your form works, they can't fight against it and won't recklessly attack.

Fun fact when designing Alastor Vizzy was thinking of the song "You're never fully dressed without a smile" so thats one reason behind his permanent smile.
So Alastor's design is, at least partially, based off a Wendigo, a cryptid that comes about through Cannibalism. In Life Alastor was not only a Serial Killer but also a Cannibal. The only reason he ended up dying is because he stopped to eat his latest kill, where he was shot by a hunter that mistook him for a Deer.
I heard he only became a cannibal after he descended to hell and due to Rosie's influence. But he was def. a serial killer though.
Vivziepop has a HUGE fanbase that's exploded over the last few years because of her dedication to her characters. I am so happy to see more people getting excited about this show because I personally think the kindness of her fanbase had a big hand in killing "cringe" culture and letting people just enjoy things (plus I appreciate the questioning of institutional religion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

10:08 Ok sooo there's a lot of lore to unpack here. this IS Pentagram City in the Pride Ring of Hell. In this universe there's 7 Rings of Hell ruled by the different Sins, and human sinners go to the Pride Ring. Sinners can only stay in the Pride Ring but other Hellborn can travel between the Rings. The other rings like Wrath, Gluttony, Lust etc are below and are ruled by their own manifestation of that Sin. It's explained further in Vivzie's other show Helluva Boss!
And i'm pretty sure that is their 'moon'. The white one is the Heaven Embassy i'm pretty sure, unless it's Heaven idk someone correct me if i'm wrong

The TV guy's name is Vox, (edit: forgot the song said his name XD), he is an Overlord like Alastor and Valentino, not gonna fully explain what an overlord is since the show will (but do note the it doesnt really explain the hierarchy) but all you need to know is they are on somewhat equal footing.

Or if you count the rumors saying that Charlie is about 400 then I guess you could be right. But Lucifer and Lilith both agreed to the exterminations and asked for Charlie and any other hellborn demons to be spared.
That glowing place in the sky is not the gate that the exorcists come through. They create a portal to get to Hell. That spot is actually Heaven far off across the abyss that separates Hell from Heaven. The Pride Ring is the upper most ring of Hell and where all sinners go. There's a story driven reason for making Heaven visible to the ring which houses sinners. It's a form of torture to remind them where they could have gone.

It makes them easier to exterminate and gives them a view of the place where they could have gone if they'd done good. All of the other Rings are Hellborn exclusive places. It's also the worst of the Rings.

The X on Alastors head could either mean he got shot in the head by a hunter or it could be that he was using his demonic powers. Also the reason he looks like that big demon form is because he got mistaken for a deer and died and the wendigo is like a deer so the wendigo is Alastor's demon form.

you think the tv guy in the song Stayed Gone is named whatever you called him, but his name is actually Vox if you are wondering. I know pretty much a lot of the characters in Hazbin Hotel. I know Charlie Morningstar, Vaggie, Alastor, Angel Dust(i also know the solo song Angel Dust sang in the 4th episode), Husk, Niffty, Lucifer Morningstar, Sir Pentious, Egg bois, Cherri Bomb, Katie Killjoy, Mimzy, Valentino(Val for short), Vox, and Tom Trench.

I believe Alastar has a lot of similarities to a Windigo. A evil Spirit from Native American folk lore that possesses Individuals causing them to indulge in cannibalism. They are described as being gaunt, long limbed, with Ashened skin, pointed ears and deer antlers.

Unfortunately the cryptid that has been popularized isn't from Native American folklore. It's a bastardization of a mistranslated concept that's about society and culture, not individuals. So depictions of the wendigo as a cannibalistic deer person is generally not taken well. It'd be like if you tried explaining free market economics to aliens and they responded "oh yeah! The music man! We've seen that play" and then they conquered the world and anytime "the economy" was depicted in their media it was a show-tune singing conman in a striped hat.

I think all of the Hazbin Hotel fans have theorized that Alastor is a Wendigo, which is a urban legend. Him being the Radio demon and being a overlord Wendigo is a wonderful character designing, his species, how he died, and who he was before his death makes Alastor into such a thought out well designed character, I'm not saying that he's the only one, all of them have a striking design and backstory, but personally the attraction towards Alastor and in general himself is a interesting and strike-a-nerve character in which I absolutely love!

The way Hell works is different, there are new overlords (The tv head guy, the moth man etc) And then there are old overlords, The old ones are generally more powerful because of their experience and Time, not a spoiler but later in the series you'll see an overlord who's from the Shakespearean era, Who's mighty in power and speaks old English.....
And then That's why Vox (Tv head guy) was almost beaten by Alastor if i put it in a non spoiler way, ofcourse other factors were there but we weren't given any more details on their "previous battle".
After the previous battle Alastor disappeared for 7 years, no one knows why, even we don't know, But some theories are there.

Alastor is the red radio demon (my personal fav) he is so cool and charismatic and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! but anyways he is a deer because when he was alive he was a serial killer and when burying a body in the woods a hunter mistakenly took him for a deer and shot him (that’s why when he transforms there’s a red x on his forehead and you can see him transform in the song Stayed Gone) he also posses a radio voice and eyes because he was a radio show host when he was alive! I just watched this series for the first time the other day, and I loved this song. Honestly Alastor is one of the most interesting and sinister villains/anti-heroes I've seen in quite some time. It is rare to see a character this wonderfully twisted.
If I were to change anything about this little song, I'd have had Alastor slip in a little threatening "I will see you soon." to Vox right at the very end, just have him really wet himself.

“Now his medium is bloody rare” is honestly a pretty clever line and I haven’t really seen anyone acknowledge that (but I’ve only rewatched this song and read the comments like 5 times. Maybe 5 more and I’ll see a couple comments)
a Sinner's/Demon's form usually has to do with their Life before they died and how they died. So for instance, Alastor was a Radio Host in New Orleans, Louisiana during the 1920's to early 1930's, but he was also a Cannibalistic Serial Killer. Alastor died one night when he was burying the body of one of his victims in the Forest because a Hunter out at night mistook him for a Deer and shot him right between the eyes. This is how Alastor gets his persona, he is the Radio Demon and has aspects of Radio due to his job as a radio Host, his clothes and dress are similar to a 1920's Creole man from New Orleans, his skin is very greyish pale because he was a cannibal and his hoofprints, antlers and such because he was shot being mistaken for a deer.
Now for Vox, Vox died in the 1950's, judging from his TV appearance and personality we can surmise he was probably a TV Producer, Director or Host of some sort, his outfit is very much like a 1950's Tuxedo suit used by TV hosts and judging from his electrical affinity we can surmise he was probably electrocuted......
Also Alastor's full Demon mode is supposed to resemble a Wendigo......a Demonic Creature that feeds on Human Flesh.....

I adore Alastor's level of creepy so much at the end of this song. When he's showing his full demon form, he kind of reminds me of some depictions of a wendigo (spirit of Algonquian folklore with insatiable hunger and cannibalistic, depending on the source) and I have to wonder if that was intentional or not.
I forget where I read it, but someone pointed out that Vox sang about the status quo BEFORE Alastor joined the song...so Al had some way of listening in on Vox from the beginning.
It's not in the show, just stuff people have picked up from Q&As with the creators, but apparently the lore on Alastor is that he was some kind of Dexter-like serial killer in the 30s as well as a radio personality, and that he died in a hunting accident while trying to bury a body in a hunting ground (see the red X on his forehead). Apparently dogs had something to do with his death so maybe a hound bayed on finding him and the hunter fired at the shape in the woods. And also why Alastor is a demonic deer.

Fun fact if someone hasn't pointed it out already the end of the song is Alister quoting Vox at the beginning of the song. However the beginning of the song was before Vox went on the air meaning that Alistor has a way to listen to Vox before he goes live and might potentially always be listening to him.
If you really listen to Alastor's part at the end, you'll hear a noise behind the singing, behind the music. It's a high-pitched screech. That would be the sound a Wendigo makes. If you don't know, a Wendigo is a human that turns into a wolf. However, instead of just the full moon, it transforms during the three phases of the full moon: the night before, the night of, and the night after. They prey on people in love whose blood type is AB-. After transforming, they feast on their hearts on each of the three nights. They're like werewolves but meaner. And yes, I did get this info from the original Charmed series. I can't help but love the show.
Much like how Valentino has monopolized the porn industry, and Alastor monopolized radio, Vox here is in charge if TV. He teamed up with Valentino and a social media demon named Velvette to get a stranglehold on Hell's media, but Alastor didn't want to join them.
That wide shot if of Pentagram City, the largest city in the Pride Ring of Hell. There are seven rings of Hell, with Pride being home to the earthborne sinners.
That golden building in the center of town is the Heaven Embassy (which, if you're reacting to Hell is Forever next, you'll see very soon) and the white moon in the sky is Heaven. We still haven't been told what the red moon with a pentagram on it is about.
Most powerful or high ranking Demons and Angels have unique Transformations, Alastors Demon Form just so happens to make him more Violent than the other ones

Alastor was apparently the first of these characters, originally as a deer LONG before Hazbin existed. Nowadays, as you can see, he’s more of a Wendigo.
You can also hear the scream of an elk whenever he starts transforming.

She did say that Alastor's full demon form was somewhat inspires by wendigo but that he is not actually a wendigo.

There's also a sister series on youtube called Helluva Boss that has songs. It's entered the realm of questionably canon since they take place in the same hell technically but then the show got picked up so who knows.
Alastor is a Radio star who grew up following the principles his mother taught him, to smile in any situation against adversity. He did manage to become a radio star but once she died he also murdered anyone who comprimised his radio broadcast. He died being mistaken for a deer during one of his murders which is why he takes on the form of one but it's also a pun on a deer caught on the headlights because he projects being in control.
I forgot where I saw it, but someone had said (as a theory ) that Alastor is based on a Wendigo (monster) and/or he was a radio DJ in life that was mistaken for a deer while in the woods and shot in the head and that's why he has deer features.

I would think that apart from the x mark on forehead representing he was shot in the head, the mark probably also has another meaning such as the mark of Cain and siggesting that Alastor is like Cain, a murderer. I think Alastor's design is based on the mythical creature wendigo. Alastor's design=wendigo+ Louisiana voodoo+cannibal+shadow realm+radio
You're the first one I've seen who paused and read off the blue screen, that's hilarious that either Al managed to bug Vox at range, or (more likely) Vox got so pissy about Alastor he basically had a seizure and I shouldn't laugh about that but that screen was amazing
Alastor doesn't walk around like that because he doesn't have to. He has established that he has piwer and that he is not to be messed with so he doesn't need to flaunt it 24/7 which tells you just confident and dangerous he can be.

He was a serial killer/cannibal killed when mistaken for an elk while disposing of a body. Shot in the head hence the x between his eyes. If you look at most characters you can kinda tell how they died. Like Nifty. 3 bullets to the chest area
Alastor died in the 20's during the radio era and was a radio host in his life who broadcast his Dexter-style murders of fellow murderers and serial killers. Vox died in the 70's and was heavily involved with the rise of television and tv propaganda. Alastor is the the most powerful Overlord in hell but Vox, Val, and Velvette teamed up and combined their powers which are all related to social media/tv/movies and together matched him.
Vox originally wanted Alastor to join them since together they'd control all the major media but Alastor despises technology, hunts killers and abusers for sport, and thinks all 3 Vs are trashy (He's right lol). Vox and Alastor had a full on war 7 years ago that nearly killed both of them. Alastor had to retreat to hide and heal before the other 2 Vs found him. He came back knowing he needed to find powerful alliances of his own, which led him to Charlie.
Like you mentioned at the beginning of the video, sinner's appearance in hell is a combination of who they were in life and how they died. In Alastor's case, he was both a very popular Radio host in 1930's Louisiana and a VERY infamous serial killer though the public never connected the two identities together. He would hunt the more predatory aspectects of human society, similar to Dexter, purely for his own amusement. He ended up being killed when he was burying a body in the woods during deer hunting season and a hunting dog got attracted to the smell of blood and flushed him out, leading to a hunter headshotting him by accident. Alastor has held a grudge against both deer and dogs ever since. His trademark ears, feet and horns are a mark of how he was mistaken for a deer and the red x that shows up when he goes full demon shows where the bullet that killed him struck.
10:08 I want to add to what others have said. This is one of the 9 circles WITHIN the Ring of Pride. While there are 7 rings, and Pride has 9 circles within it, it's unclear if each ring also has 9 circles in it.
The best part about alastor’s ending is that he’s speaking to vox directly which means he messed up all the tvs and all the internet techs without messing up voxs screen. He also put down his staff so this is OFF THE RECORD! This is one of the few times he uses his actual voice and not his voice through the radio staff.
Everyone with some level of power in hell has their typical form they use on a daily basis, while also being able to augment their form a bit (like we see Angel dust growing eyes when he gets mad) to fully changing their appearance as with we see with Alistor here in this song becoming more beast like, tho depending on their power level they can change more of themselves or even grow larger/become smaller (as we see with Bee, Ozzy, and Mammon from Helluva Boss). But this has only been shown to us so far and (to my knowledge) hasn’t been confirmed by Viv, so technically every sinner/hell born has a “demon” form as I call it where they look more menacing

10:00 This is basicly the main city (Pentagram City) of the Pride Ring. Sinners are only allowed to stay here, the other six Rings belong to the hellspawn. They can come into Pentagram City too, but they stay mostly out of it. Its the most chaotic and violent place in Hell anyway. But Sinners, if not killed by angelic weapons, are unable to die, so they do regular turf wars and stuff.
the thing about Alastor and his "true" form is something like a theory. before every demon appeared in hell, as you said, has some kind of backstory. Alastor was living probably around the beggining of 20th century, because, as he said in pilot ''I haven't been that desired since the crash of stock in 1929 hahahaha. so many orphans''. Alastor was cannibal and his form represents the Wendigo. if you google Wendigo, you will know, how it looks and that in one "religion" Wendigo is an evil spirit, who takes control of people, who come to cannibalism. Alastor's form probably represents the Wendigo

without spoiling too much, this song follows the overlord (powerful demon) Vox, not a lot is known about Vox, pretty much all of his lore can be found in this song, other then he had a past with Alastor and is now his rival, he is known as the "TV demon" and has control of all Voxtech technology, specifically TV and Camera's, owns a company called Voxtech and works together with Velvette (who mostly works in the social media and model industry) and Valentino (who ofc works in the adult film industry). Velvette, Vox and Valentino often get referred to as "The Vees"

What makes this funnier is that this episode the song is from is called radio killed the video star the city they live in is called pentagram City it is just like the capital but there's other cities and there is 7 rings of hell and this is the pride ring
It could be how he died, but I doubt it, it's more probable that it was how he lived that influenced Vox to have a TV head.
esp. when we look at some other Sinners and what forms they take.
Angel Dust= he died due to drug overdose. While taking the name of the drug as his new name, there's not really any physical traits connected to how he died. Angel and his siblings all have spider forms, Vivzi has stated before that reason is because they were part of a Mafia family when alive and the spider form reflects the "web of crime" they had when alive.
Alastor= He was a radio personality that lived in New Orleans. He was also a cannibalistic serial killer who hid the bodies of his victims in a field and was shot by a deer hunter. His sinner form has some traits that connect to how he died: antlers, hoofed footprints, hair tuffs looks like deer ears, X on his forehead. But what he's known as is "the Radio Demon", his powers lie there, his eyes look like radio dials, his voice sounds like coming from a radio and has that staff. Add in the traits that would fit a cannibal, plus when he transforms(sharp teeth, predatory traits, blood dripping out of mouth) it looks more like a wendigo (creature folklore says a human transforms into after becoming a cannibal). Thus the bigger influence on his form is how he lived.
My theory is that Vox was a big player in developing TV or was a TV personality (which would play off being counter to Alastor) during his life, the early days of TV (he died in the 50s)
