    I actually love Green but he leaves a well built pocket, his drop back steps are huge, and his release doesn't have zip in the short range. He gets over his fear of being sacked in the pocket he'll kill it.

      He still has time to develop. I think some fans are being understandably impatient, but QB development takes time and hard-earned experience. BP still knows what he's doing when it comes to being a QB whisperer. TG def still has clear flaws, but his upside is huge if he can smooth things out.

    Are Petrino's offense and TWill's defense too complicated for new players every year to learn in the Portal era?

    • @KnEpH131
      @KnEpH131 21 день назад

      I think that's part of it.

    We got to start having a hot route on every down. Maybe a TE whip or a RB angle or something. Instead of having Taylen run for his life lets dump it of when we get instant pressure. If Taylen gets hurt not a good thing. We got to hang onto the ball unless we want to lose. Got to have better Football discipline. That "flappy Bird" act after dropping a interception needs to land you on the bench until you can either make plays or learn how to act when you dropped a game changing interception.
    Do you guys think we could use the helmet comm better? Maybe run no huddle and let bobby call the protect and play after we see the defense? 30 secs gives us some time. None of that helps when the defense changes or disguises what they are really doing. That's where a hot route might come in handy. I know Petrino loves the chunk plays but the bad plays are killing us. Not like we are just being dominated physically every play. Its the mental stuff that's getting us. I like our coordinators and want the hogs to figure this out.
    Glad you guys bring in Grant. he's a treasure. Love this review.

      I’ve been wondering that too about the helmet comm. I thought with Taylen being new to the offense Bobby would help him out with what he’s seeing thru the comms.

    On offense to keep consistent and build year over year in todays game. You HAVE to keep your Center-QB-WR and the rest can rotate out if need be. But you HAVE to have a QB-Center-Wr

      Agreed but I'd say a te over wr personally

    Green needs to fix his throwing motion. He is 6'7 and getting balls batted down. His release is way to low and slow

    Grant makes an excellent point about ‘08-‘09 if we can just stabilize our program then BMFP will destroy the SEC. 27:47

    Let's see if we can't get Arch Manning to come to Arkansas he is not really happy at Texas Bobby and Arch Wow Baby.and don't come up with a Defeatist attitude like that will never happen.

      It's not being defeatist to say that will never happen, it's just realistic.

    Petrino is still the absolute best. On the downside, Ryan Mallett ain’t walkin through that door.
