I think Janis deserves a lot more respect and fame then he gets. Very passionate about arm-wrestling, incredibly strong, and one solid gentleman right there. Absolute perfect win. Respect to Thomas for his "Wild Horse" like effort.
That second round is why Janis is called the Jedi. He recently interviewed Allen Fisher and was inspired by Allen's experience and age - Janis said he was starting to feel old and seemed to express some concern about being the oldest in his class sometimes, but I think Allen has given him confidence that he can go for another 20+ years.
@@potpolima - Yea we need to factor in that armwrestlers use a lot of mind games and pretend a round is essentially done when they have good position, to try and get the opponent to think it's probably over, and to get them to think about conserving energy instead. Or sometimes it can just throw the opponent off and annoy them. Sometimes an air of confidence can bring their confidence down. Sometimes the opponent can feel like they're being made a fool of and they don't want the potential embarrassment to come. To see this in full effect, watch Sam Harris (WAL) or Geoff Hale (ArmWars) vs Luke Kindt (he's super susceptible to a lot of things). So I don't think it's very fitting of a "celebrating too early" compilation or reddit category (can appear like that though). Plus, it was less a celebration and more of a "you're screwed".
@@edgaralanpoe2808 yeah, that match is just frickin ugly and i'm devon fan, but to be fair, Bart always blind whenever anyone use kingsmove even though the rules clearly written that the shoulder need to stay above the table

Are they the same weight class? I think Janis would really walk through Sam. Could be wrong, but Janis I think is much bigger and has been world champ for so long, Sam really wouldn't have that much for him.

Janis is just the coolest cat! he walks in with this air about him ...
Yep, when you're as legendary as Janis Amolins, the confidence can not be denied.
Return of the Jedi Master
at 5:55 is the classic example of celebrating too soon... how does anyone do that with The Jedi on the other side of the table...
I will be recommending that clip for celebrating too early compilation. That was just a typical example.
Lol that was the funniest part
It was a strategy. Made the opponent think he lost but it did not work against a veteran

he's a hooker with a long forearm so janis has a shit load more leverage
Amazing Armwrestling knowledge and strength from Janis.
Janis is so respectful and so polite, he is really a true jedi, so powerful and humble! RESPECT this MAN
this saitama in Arm wrestling is really kinda strong!
he is spider man
@@phamquanggngoc"the jedi"
he even went into the hook with him and beat him , that moment was badass
Reminds me of John Brzenk...
Care to agree, Bart Wood’s doing a good job this year
He got some heavy criticism after Michael and Devons match.
He's becoming blind on heavyweight supermatches

why is Tom Holland not using his spidy senses?
This match was awesome. A true master class by Janis against an elite opponent.
Janis is among the best pound for pound in the world.
This was an impressive match...
I want to see Janis Amolins vs. Sam Harris
Are they the same weight class? I think Janis would really walk through Sam. Could be wrong, but Janis I think is much bigger and has been world champ for so long, Sam really wouldn't have that much for him.
@tyler amburg For sure. That would be a great matchup. I'll have to look around, they may have had a match before, but definitely not recent.
@Tyler Amburg they had a match and the video is on WAL channel
I thought it was Tom Holland spiderman
Janis looks like Baraka from Mortal Kombat 💪💯💥
Tom holland looks like that mysterio guy on Spiderman movie
I'd say Janis could probably fight all the way up to about light heavyweight, all the way up to the top 5.
Janis has got to be one of my absolute favorites. “Cerebral” such a FELICITOUS description by the commentator.
tom holland looks like jake Gyllenhaal
Amolins looks like Agent47 (Hitman) :D
Imagine how good he's be at choking people :D
10:32 he turns and asks: "what should i do?"
How can you not love Janis.. #legend
6:18 that “ooo yeah” kinda creepy and scary 😂🤣
Janis screams like a crazy sorcerer!
This is how a natural man looks like 😁.
Did you see it!?
There were Michael and Devon doing their own match on the same time, at the same table...under it.

Never thought spiderman actually participates in armwrestling.
spider man vs the jedi
*Pride* : One of the seven deadly sins.
I want the Jedi to defeat Sam Harris
I can't wait for that match!
WAL 506. 3-0 Janis
No that would be a terrible match Janis will destroy him
@@MrGamerDoctor who cares, the best lightweight should be the champion. I'm guessing hale would be closer but Harris is the champ

WAL 60X is gonna be ammmmmmmmazing
He always smile
Tom predicted on that WAL podcast that he’d win 3 nill. Bit humiliating but I hope it motivates him to train harder
That's what you get doind table practice only
Incredible second round by Janis!
Look at that back loading, on the first pull by janis
Janis’ face at 6:40. Demon.
I knew this match would be interesting because they have both defeated Joseph Lovei
Coach ray out there...
Janis impressive nothing to say Wow
Janis walks in like a T2000 with a smile on his face
Janis is a sweetheart.
*Beautiful*
Tom should srsly learn to pull like devon
He would benefit so much from trainning together
13:08 u know what they say about hummer drivers

Janis's hands are 3 times bigger than tom's...
Janis has a smirk that almost makes u hate him for no reason. But guy is actually very humble and can NEVER be counted out of any match.
These commentators are so off lmao
Janis beat holland at his own game.
Tom is simply too skinny he doesn't have that extra weight to pin

Wait a sec.. this tom guy has literally no muscle.. wtf is he doing here??
LOL you are talking nonsense .
Tom has the frame to be a heavyweight.
He is tall but that's about it. He is isn't wide enough.
@@vlad1889 Yeah, he's very thin. Though maybe he could push up to heavyweight in some years if he really tried.
