Hello, the "No Clean" is Copper Braided Solder Remover, it acts as a wick to absorb molten solder. What AWG wire gauge did you use to extend leads for Motors & ESC's....? Yeah it looks, I used braided wire sheath on mine also keeps all wires routed & looking clean..! What's next..! First Mount Pixhawk & GPS, then find on-line the Pixhawk Wiki and read documentation 1or twice, maybe 3 times-take notes on the wiring..! I've build my quad-copter but the Pixhawk PX4 I bought from china was a lemon, so I'm having to re-do all my wiring because I bought the Holybro Pixhawk 4 w/PM07, like yours and I'm eliminating PDB on frame. It's how I know..? =) May I suggest that you use the "LAND" option so your craft doesn't land hard and then bounce after touch down..? =)
Hello:) Thanks for the video! I was wondering how did you power your PX4 previously (i.e. without using the PDB) ? I am working on the same frame and I dont have the pdb so I was wondering how can I power the px4. Thank you in advance!
I am planning a 650 Sport build and have some questions. What gauge wire did you use for ESCs? I’m planning on 12 wag. Where did you get the late for mounting the Pixhawk? I want to mount my ESCs in the center body but need a plate for mounting. Also planning on a Matek power distribution board.
Can you do a video on downloading and using the flight planner software, and maybe a video on flashing the esc motor controllers. Did/do you need to flash the esc motor controllers?
Awesome build video. Could you please consider doing a video showing us how you wire up a frsky r9m, your gimbal, landing gear, fpv camera and also how you set everything thing up on mission planner.
Hi, great work. I love the stability and graceful movement for smooth video and still photography. Cost of everything comes to about $1800 (GoPro8, Radio, 3-axis Gimbal, etc.). Do you know if one can build a GPS-Hold Quad for still photography, and maybe even smooth video (NOT A RACE Drone) that is around $300 or so? The reason I say $300, because we can buy the DJI Mini Fly-More Combo for $500 (for now, I'd like to start with something smaller than a Mavic Air 2, or the upcoming Mavic 3 Pro). Thanks
I have a 4 in 1 ESC (BlHeli 20A) and I’m not sure how to connect to the Power distribution board. Would connecting the the ESC directly to the battery in parallel with the Power distribution Board and then only connecting the signal from the ESC a stupid idea? Thanks for the help
That was from on old drone I had laying around. You could buy a battery tray though like this one and make it work. Or if you have any old flat pieces of plastic laying around you could use that. www.banggood.com/custlink/3GG3ApfRQO
This provided a bit of help, so thanks! However I'm still confused about how to power the PixHawk 4 Flight Controller as I wont be using the power board provided by Holybro as I will be using the Tarot TL2996 12S 480A Power Distribution Board. Any ideas? Thanks!
@@emreceliltayyar1236 Use a more robust PDB as you are pulling 192A, you can find loads on AliExpress, just find the ones that are called 'Power Distribution Board 200A for agriculture drones'

I am building a drone because I watched this video. I am using everything that you are using. My drone is going to be hexacopter. I have one question. Did you connect Hobbywing 40amp ESC directly to power distribution board?? You didn't use any UBEC or anything, right?
@@builtfromhome9207 Thanks bro this is huge help. I was super confused before. Now, I can peacefully connect my ESCs directly to power distribution board when they arrive.
@@builtfromhome9207 I have another question. Is your connections something like this? FMU-PWM-IN(power management board) to I/O PWM OUT (Pixhawk)? Here is the picture of my circuit instagram.com/p/B-GALaLDPP4/ If possible can you please provide picture of your Power distribution board wires to Pixhawk connection. Do you have instagram? Nice setup! Nice Video. I am building my first drone and it's a Tarot 650 Sport. I do have 2 questions. 1. Where did you get the boar that is below the PixHawk that you also mounted other items on. 2. I have an old Pixhawk 2.4.6, do you recommend I upgrade to the PixHawk 4?
HolyBro has a store on Amazon where you can buy all the stuff you need. Or you can go directly to their website. Shipping is normally free on amazon but costs extra on their website so keep that in mind. You can decide which is better for you. I bought a package form their website. Amazon: Power Management Module (this is the board you were asking about): amzn.to/2OX7k02 Pixhawk4 + GPS amzn.to/34YyUzs HolyBro I got package 20034: shop.holybro.com/pixhawk-4_p1089.html As for what to use. I also started with an older pixhawk 2.4.6 board and it worked ok. However, I really wanted a controller with better compute times and ability to run more imports without the chance of something failing. The pixhawk 4 runs with the FMUv5 standard and high-performance, power-efficient STM32F7 chip. When it came down to It I felt more comfortable knowing my over $1000 drone and camera gear was being powered by a flight controller that was build with quality in mind. My older pixhawk was just a nock off cheap controller. So what should you use? Well it all depends on your budget and what you want to do with it. Does that help at all?
pancham patel I haven’t got that far yet. I want to connect the esc(s) to the pins and not solder them directly to the power board. How are you doing it???
@@panchampatel1 Hello, the maximum current in the power module of Pixhawk 4 is 120. Can I install motors that draw a total of 192A current? Is this a problem?
yes I did drill holes in the top-plate of the drone. If you still need to use it as the PDB then i would not recommend that. I was going to use the Pixhawk4 PDB so it was not a big.
May ask this question... Would you sell that completely built drone without the goPro for $1100? I can pay with PayPal and I take the full liability for your product.

How did you extend the arms?
Use a solder suction, then use the wick and wipe it

Hm... long power wires to the ESCs will kill them. Especially when you fly with large props.
That's a false statement, increase wire size to accommodate length.
@@mackdaddy877 just add a couple of capacitors and you will be safe. But still - those long power wires are not good for your ESCs.
