Hey everyone! Im looking to do a video where you submit your photos to me and I edit them! You can send me 1 unedited photo (raw/jpg) and also tell me a little about yourself and your instagram name! Ive always wanted to do a video like this so I cant wait to see what you send me! Send photos to photos4patrickedit@gmail.com
Nice pictures! I am looking to buy my first camera and pair it with the sigma 30mm 1.4 but i don’t know if i should get the a6300 or the a6000 i would only use it for car photography. What is your opinion?
Wow! I found this video because I have an a6000 this lens and I want to use it for this reason 😂 one really big question I have is what settings do you use on the a6000? I’m trying to find what I like and the way you set controlling the camera seemed pretty good. One problem I have is on manual focus it zooms in a lot? Is there a way to turn that off? Great pictures!
For setting i shoot in full manual. I like keeping my iso between 100-500. Aperture around 1.8 - 2.8 depending on the shot. Then i adjust my shutter speed till i get 0.0 on the exposure reading. When you do manual focus and it zooms in. It sounds like you have focus magnifier turned on, can shut that off in the settings!
@@PatrickS. perfect! Thanks for the help! I’m getting the K&F polarizer that you mentioned you use in one of the other comments. I’m wondering from someone with experience how you think a polarizer affects your shots? Thanks for the help again!
@michaelboyle-ms2id Polarizers help to cut down on reflections in the glossy paint. Give it a twist and you'll see most, but not all reflection become a lot less noticeable. I recommend when you get it, take a couple shots without the filter and some with it on, its good to see the difference it makes forst hand! They are definitely a must for professional looking car photography, lighting also plays a large part as well
Me encanta tus fotos. Tengo la misma cámara y el mismo lente, que opinas de la distancia que toca tener del objetivo? A mí la verdad me parece que queda uno muy lejos
I just ordered this same set up, and then stumbled across this video on my recommended, now I can't wait for my gear to get here and take it to the next car show (I was supposed to shoot cars and copters with it but it didn't get to me in time :(. Got any other lens recommendations for the a6000?
I'd definitely look at the sigma 16mm f1.4 if you are wanting something wider. And also the sony 70-350! Its probably the best telephoto apsc lens on the market!
What’s the exact model number of your Sony 50mm? I have the A6000 too and I’m seeing several options. Some say FE and some don’t while some say OSS and others don’t.
@@asaisdagoat Mainly just the lens and camera combination. Polarizer only affects the amount of reflection on the cars themselves, which definitely helps achieve the look.
The a6000 records pretty nice 1080p video, with the right lenses you can get some really beautiful footage. You don't have access to picture profiles like slog or hlg.
muito bom !

@@vdsynt If you are only doing photos of cars I'd go for the a6000!
@@PatrickS. thank you, but i heard some complaints about the battery life, how many shots of hours do you get with one battery?
@@vdsynt Ya the Sony W batteries aren't the best, can maybe get like just over an hour of shooting. So definitely pick up some extras!
I have this lens in my cart right now and im happy i discovered your channel. confirmed a good decision. I currently have a sony a6000 too
Im glad my videos helped you make the decision! The 50mm is honestly one of the best price for performance lenses for sony apsc!
@@PatrickS. agreed! picking it up in an hour from bestbuy! A lens I feel belongs in the armoury for sure

nice photo and editing bro..what preset u use??can u share
Hey nice photos. You use an ND filter on the lense ?
Thankyou! for this shoot I only used a circular polarizer filter. Usually what I use when shooting cars cause it helps get rid of reflections!

hey brother, im gonna be buying the sony a6000 soon, which lens would you recommend?
Awesome! I'd definitely recommend this sony 50mm f1.8 oss! Its pretty inexpensive and gives good quality images. Its the first lens i would pick up

Me encanta tus fotos en que modo retratas carros? Manual? O Aperture Priority?
Always manual!

This is the oss SEL50F18
do you use polarizer and if you do, which one
I have 2 different polarizers, one from Gobe and the other K&F concept. They are both the same really, both get the job done well!
how do you get the images so high quality? is it the polarizer?

Fotografierst du im Manuellen Fokus ?
I use flexible spot auto focus!
Is this a good video camera as well?
