"A Naca" Catanzaro Processione del Venerdì Santo 7 Aprile 2023

"A Naca" si tratta di una processione religiosa che si svolge il venerdì Santo a Catanzaro ed in altri centri Calabresi.
Al centro della processione c'è la naca (termine dialettale che deriva dal greco nachè, che significa culla), nella quale è adagiato il corpo di Gesù.
Il corteo si snoda nelle vie del centro storico cittadino, la culla viene preceduta dagli stendardi, gonfaloni e croci di penitenza delle Confraternite cittadine: dei Santi Giovanni Battista ed Evangelista, dell'Immacolata del Carmine e del Rosario.
A seguire sono portate la croce bianca del Carmine, rossa del San Giovanni, nera del Rosario, celeste dell'Immacolata.
Ancora dietro seguono gli ordini religiosi, poi la Naca, l'Addolorata e per finire i fedeli.

"A Naca" is a religious procession that takes place on Good Friday in Catanzaro and in other Calabrian towns.
At the center of the procession is the naca (dialectal term that derives from the Greek nachè, which means cradle), in which the body of Jesus is laid.
The procession winds its way through the streets of the historic city centre, the cradle is preceded by the banners, banners and penitential crosses of the city's Confraternities: of Saints John the Baptist and Evangelist, of the Immaculate Conception of Carmine and of the Rosary.
Following are carried the white cross of Carmine, red of San Giovanni, black of the Rosary, light blue of the Immaculate Conception.
Still behind follow the religious orders, then the Naca, the Addolorata and finally the faithful.

Una festa religiosa che risale al 1600 con processione vivente e “La Naca”, culla in cui viene deposta la statua di Gesù morto.
