What I really like about the Mystic mod is that it does something few, if any, other class mods do on the mod manager: provide additional add-ons for gaining a feat at every level. I don't really have a lot of class mods that have this, but the few I do are the succubus class, the artificer class (Nexus version), and the mond weaver (Nexus version). Even the unlocked level curve mod that got added to the mod manager doesn't have its Nexus version where the base classes gain a feat at every level.
I would have watched and responded earlier, but i was out celebrating my birthday. 🎉 I am planning on using some of these classes when I get to Act 3. Respecking and experimenting at that stage appeals to me.
I thought when Mods came out I would just do 1 modded playthrough but I had no idea there would be this many options... I'm gonna be sucked back into BG3 for at least another month lol
Modder for the Reaper here first off so cool to be mentioned second did not realize the class icon was not loading in game so will be figuring out that later. Third I don’t know how to use blender so a backed in class scythe will be a bit class still works with out but definitely is less visually satisfying
Though it's a NEXUS only class so far, I would like to add The Blackguard class. It's a really spicy Paladin Class that dose Necrotic Smites and can subclass into Shadow or Blood magic, very fun to play.
Wow my friend you make an excellent work! A question the new classes are "balanced"? I dont want to begin with a new class which is unbalanced , "unfair" etc etc.

I've been told it was engraving or something like that, but I could only ever find one for Tavs. And do you know of a way to get nexus mods working alongside mod manager ones? Sorry, I've just been looking for that one for a long time!

Sadly not, typically what the mod makers do for the class mods is tie their modded class to the dialogue options of other classes that seem the most applicable, for example when I played Vanguard I got the Wizard and Monk dialogue options in most conversations

I stopped midway thru act 2 when I heard the mods were coming, I'm just gonna wait...I've got Warhammer coming via game fly and I decided to try out throne and liberty, plus a destination wedding with a few days off after so hopefully it's active by mid October or I'm gonna get " sick" and have to miss a few days
Frost witch is actually really strong. Gets cone of cold and wall of ice later on plus a cantrip version of create water for double damage! That one is pretty great

Yeah that is so true! The mystic is full of great choices but getting extra feats is a lot of fun

save up for a pc man. i did. Totally worth it. You dont need the best of the best to start. Even a half ass pc outruns a console. Plus the mods.

Unfortunately just nexus mods but it’s possible to come to the mod manager someday. Are you on PC? It’s easy to mod
how are they in balance? i can imagine some modded classes just trivialise the game even on the hardest difficulty or am i wrong in that?

Might require imp ui, but some classes don’t have icons for some reason. What classes have you noticed this with?

Gunslinger is no longer an Artificer thing. But you can be an Artillerist, which is the spellcasting subclass that lets you create Arcane Cannons.

I'd prefer if modders just made the classes from the handbooks and rebalanced them for bg3, custom classes just dont feel right
Plenty of people play with homebrew. This is exactly the same as that.
You don’t have to download mods you don’t like, and there’s tons of homebrew classes
