I haven't long found your channel and as a woman with mature skin, I am loving your content and channel! Your eyes are outta this world STUNNING!! 😍 YOU'RE SO BEAUTIFUL!
Your right they don’t have a lot of pigment for the crease although I love taking these on vacation with my all matte nude Viseart pallet, and I mix them because the shimmers are amazing! I love going back watching your tutorials when I take a pallet out I haven’t used in a while. Or a foundation. Really anything. I can always find it on your channel. Thanks Tara for all of your great reviews!!!!!♥️💞🤗
I wasn't going to pick them up but when I saw 2 of them for $27 at Sephora I decided to go for it. I ended up using a $10 credit I had and got Chocolat and Framboise for a shocking $17 total for both ... can't beat that right? Thanks for the review sweetie! I have a lighter complexion so they might work for me :)
Thanks for your honest reviews. I’ve built my edit palette collection and love those. I feel like my other fav YT channels have let their excitement for the brand overshadow some insight. I got chocolat and framboise on that Sephora combo deal and I will probably stop there because of lack of depth.
I have this in Lilas and you're right; it doesn't have a lot of depth to it. I had to keep building to get a decent color payoff and even after all that work it was a very subtle look. Nice, but subtle. And I have very fair skin. I'd return it if it weren't for the shimmers and the low price point. Although, the shimmers are very similar to the ones in the Natasha Denona Glam pallet.
I bought them to compliment my other palette. Like the chocolate for my ND Bronze, the pink for all my pink palettes, and the praline for my Glam Palette and any look that needs some soft colors.
Hey Tara! I took advantage of the Scott Barnes sale and got the mesmerize palette along with a lip liner, gloss and mascara. The pans are larger than how they appear on his channel. Quite glittery though. I need to see how that can be avoided. Gorgeous products. I hope you got it too!
Yup, I feel the same way as you do. They are lacking depth and some shades are way too similar for a 4 pan palette. Not overjoyed about these because they could’ve been curated better with more range, even for a 4 pan palette. Great idea in terms of size and convenience for people who don’t want to think about putting together a look but not balanced enough for me.
What is interesting to me about these, is that they are called "professional pigment palettes", not eyeshadow palettes. Framboise contains PET glitter, which isn't approved for use in cosmetics by the FDA. I love Viseart shadow formula, especially mattes, but it's disappointing to me that they resorted to plastic glitter. They also seem to be releasing far too much lately and most of it seems to just be a variation of their existing products. Thank you for your thorough review
i’m so excited for this video. i’m in love with these little quads and it sucks to see that it doesn’t show on your skin tone, and it obviously won’t show on darker skin tones. i have light medium skin tone, so they’d obviously show on me so thank you for the tutorial. i love watching your videos and honest reviews.
Hi Tara this review was extremely helpful. I have a medium skin tone and although these looked good on Mel Thompson she has light skin. I was going to purchase these but I changed my mind. I need more depth in my palettes. Great review!
I purchased the Chocolat & Framboise from Sephora for $27. I was going to purchase Praline or Chocolat. I really liked my look I created with my Chocolat palette. I brightened my lid by mixing the two shimmer shades on my lid. That added more dimension between the lid and the outer corner.
I think all the looks were pretty but you’re right they each needed a little bit more depth wise. The cool toned one I had my eye on. Glad I passed. I and my pocketbook thank you. 🙂
Thank you for this very very thorough review! They’re so pretty but I can be sure now that I don’t need them. I’m still drawn to the Lilas palette but I’ve got the Scott Barnes Glamazon on order so hopefully that scratches that itch! Hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving xo
Omg, I needed to see your take - I had these in my cart, then took them out, again and again, thinking the same thing, and you confirmed. I even contacted Viseart, asking if they would consider releasing each color way in 2 different depths, like Sydney Grace, but they just answered with excuses, not even even a *hint* of looking into the possibility, even when they were very active on social media, soliciting opinions (and also even though they are a much larger company than SG and even though they must’ve done research on their demographics). They don’t want opinions, and I can see they don’t give a hoot about certain demographics. And that’s sad.
Do you have a video that further explains your technique of carving out your crease with a pencil brush? I love the looks you create, and I’m not sure I am doing it correctly! Is it because I don’t have the BK Beauty brush or is there a specific brush shape to the pencil brush that is needed to do it? I just love the way you go about creating your looks. I have learned more from watching you this past year than the entire 10 yrs I spent watching RUclips makeup tutorials . Even if its not a tutorial, I learn so much from you because of the way you shoot and edit your videos. I really appreciate the extra time you take to be as in-depth as you are. I can’t imagine how long it takes you, yet you always seem to go the extra mile.
Yes Tara, your face is VERY distracting .... you're so VERY pretty 🥰! For "everyday" shadows, I think they're ok. Being half the price of a CT quad, I wasnt expecting too much. I would have paid more for a better quality quintet palette tho. It's always great to see you but, please don't work so hard. Stay self and give yourself some TLC. 💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟💗
I’m right there with you in terms of your thoughts on these. They’re okay and the price is good but I’m just not impressed with the sheer formula.I’m not sure what else it is, but I was similarly underwhelmed by the Midsommer and Solstice palettes that came out a few months ago.
I have the Praline quad. It is beautiful for people like me, that want an everyday neutral, yet slightly bronze look. If you like a softer everyday bronze eye, you will love Praline. No sparkle or glitter, just sheen in the shimmer. The brown matte color is not too warm, just warm enough. Not orange, not red, just a nice med tone brown. I'm not purchasing the other 3 because I'm a neutral eye girl.
I have yet to try anything from viseart, but these did not seem to perform well at all!! I wonder if some of their other eye shadow palettes are better.
The chocolat and the pink one looked lovely on you, am fair skinned so i think the praline and lilacs will look nice on me for an every day not in your face kind of look
Sorry if my face is distracting lol. You’re adorable. Distractingly gorgeous! Not even interested in these just missed seein you! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Uh oh! I ordered two of these palettes and I’m darker than you 😧 BTW, when you’re camera speed was off I thought it was a slow motion big reveal coming. Lol!
I am not impressed with these. But I have noticed a new trend.... shimmers are not just for the lid anymore.... so you would have to put those dark shimmers in your crease. Yesh I know it's weird but it seems the new trend. TYFS ❤
I love the concept behind these palettes but based on your review these palettes aren't for me. I'm deeper than you and its not going to work and I don't want to pull another palette to make them work. Thank you for the review!! I love your looks!!
Hahaha. Girl, I'm sure that is crazy comical-i feel like a total idiot trying to do it🤪🤣🤣🤣 You're right, it's a BEAUTIFUL language, but tough indeed 💋❤❤💋 Thank you so much for watching my sweet friend❤❤❤❤
@@cathyjacynthe98 Oh. I PROMISE, I know that. (Sometimes texting is so hard because you can't hear the voice or tone behind it). But I know it has to be funny hearing us try to pronounce these French words. 🤣 I thought I did ok, then come to find out, I messed up 2 of the 4 (but the other 2 are not that great🤣🤣🤣). It's too funny. I know, I promise, I was laughing with you and including myself in the mix😂😂😂😂😂💋💋💋💋
OMG, come on Tara, please pronounce the word "Lilas" correctly - it's "lee-la" not "Lyla" like you pronounced it. Lilas means "lilac" in French (the "s" at the end of a word in French is silent. Lila (lee-la") also means "lilac" in Spanish, Italian and German. For goodness sakes, when Natasha Denona released her Lila palette you would think people would finally learn how to correctly say this word. 😉 You almost said "raspberry" correctly. LOL! This video is a good example why we need foreign language education in our school systems. 😉 We need to read our makeup palettes correctly. 😉
Hahaha🤣 I think it's no secret by now I am the worst at pronouncing words🤣🤪 At this point, I'm claiming it as my niche 🤷♀️🙋♀️ Kind of funny though, the easiest word out of these 4 palettes i get wrong🤣🤣 Oh well, can't win em all😘❤ Thanks for letting me know💋💋 Once I'm told, I don't forget (well most of the time🤣)

Hi Tara, will you review the kkw beauty crystallized‑eyeshadow‑palette?
I bought it, waiting for it to arrive. I think I'll combine my review of that Palette with the Opalescent Palette in one💋🦋🤪

Even though these shades were too light on your skin tone they look very beautiful on you! You're right though these are are very much lacking depth.
They all looked good on you!
Great review I love them I thought they were beautiful.
Glad you’re back! Been waiting for this review to see your thoughts. I have been looking at these palettes on Beautylish since they came out lol
Ahhh, thank you so much for your patience. I hope the review was helpful💋❤🦋
I’ve been waiting for this review! 🥰 Also, what’s on your nails, Tara? 😳
I got my nails filled last week and she put some gold flakes on my ring finger, it is so pretty...🌟🌟❤❤
