I was thinking exactly the same thing. There has to be a better way than this. ALso... Can they not shift it without needing a second process... Unless the sand is meant to come out wet?
If they do this day in day out, why have they not hard lined in a water spray system around the top edge of the hold, with directional monitors like fire fighting equipment uses? I know labour is obviously very cheap, but it would save them time and effort and make the job safer than having those guys down on the sand.
I would hope that they are recycling the water to use again and again...... otherwise its a lot of water for a job that could be done by other means....
Nice one. I'm glad to see that the workers are roped up, and they are clearly working together in a coordinated way, with a plan, the best way to stay safe. The load is clearly destined for a conveyor, and on to a settling pond of some sort. So much better than having all that truck exhaust polluting the place!
This seems really inefficient...

labor cost = very low
Maybe they are making a sand bar or something 🤷♂️
It would actually be pretty efficient and effective
Why not just get digging with a belcha...? I mean put 100 boys in here and in a few hours you'll be through

FYI the power dredger machines they're taking about are the 2 guys with the hoses
Actually the dredger is the yellow pipe that sucks up all the sandy water!
@@jimbob-jn6jz do you have idea why they are doing this? Actually I couldn't understand why they are doing this.
@@zoetan13 Fastest way they could think of moving sand from the barge onto land.
can we see where the sand goes too

They're pumping sea water.. filter out the sand and the water back in the ocean
Every drop of water on Earth has been recycled billions of times......... it doesn't go anywhere, it doesn't get lost.
Waste of energy by dumb workers, I bet they are even using salt water.... 😅
I wonder if that is part of Taiwan they are unloading? Lol.
Reminds me of my wife eating, just kinda slop it in
Just eating
Why look surprise did you expect shovels?
Ahh..this put me to sleep. Now it’s night two and ima watch it again. So peaceful

Mate not one of those guys is tied up those ropes you see are tied to the hoses
@@Thegrim326 Yep, my bad. Still a lot better done than some other of these offloading vids I've seen, scary stuff some of them.
@@nicktecky55 that it is
Waste of water in countries that are already short of water. Then developed countries have to somehow solve their problems...
They are pumping sea water and dumping it back in the sea.
So there Gareth
Yeah take that Gareth
