Love Tailored beard company, have since day one! So stoked you did this review and he's getting the exposure he so deserves! Soo many great scents! Fantastic feel in beard. Scott is killing it!

So glad you did this video! They have been on my short list as of lately. Our beards seems to like similar oils so I should have a good feel in beard as well! It also helps narrow down wich ones I want to try as they had a lot to choose from. Thanx again brotha!!!
Tailored Red is my favorite currently. It has black Oud, which none of the other products do yet. So that's definitely one to try! Love this company and the owner. It's in my top 3!
Dan C- Your review videos cause me to buy a lot of beard oils, but save actually save me money. I have purchased and discarded too many bottle because the scent was different than I expected from reading the company’s descriptions. Your reviews are spot on. A couple of these sound exactly what I have been looking for- interesting scents that are strong and long lasting.

Great review. Thank you, as always, for the thorough way you break everything down. I've been wanting to try them for some time and this gives me a start as to what I might want to buy first.
Great company, great customer service. I am still working my way through all the oils and butters I purchased from Tailored prior to his relaunch a few months ago. Had a bottle of oil get destroyed during shipping once, ruining much of my order, and Scott was quick with replacements. My beard really likes these products, highly recommended. Dan C, if I remember correctly Tailored is now, or will be soon, offering the choice of their standard oil blend, or a 50/50 blend with Emu oil when you purchase, which would explain why it was on the label.
Another great breakfast video. And yes, feel in beard is the most important area for me as well. Thats almost a downside at times because my best feel in beard oil so far does not have my favorite scent, dang!!
I love beard oils and balms. Definitely use them daily. As you know some of the oil can inadvertently get onto your non bearded areas. This can clog pores and even lead to acne. I've found the perfect solution. Witch Hazel mixed in 14% grain alcohol. The brand is T.N. Dickinson's witch Hazel. Put some on a cotton ball and wipe down your cheeks, nose and even forehead. My skin has never been more clean and clear. As a bonus is has been reported to stimulate hair growth. New hair has formed on my cheeks and I am now able to raise my cheek line. The higher the better. No joke. What do you think DanC, have you heard of this? If not give it a try, only cost about 4-5 dollars for a Pint size bottle.
Dan, great review! Ive known of tailored beard for a while and i just purchased 4 oils/butters recently. I got Tailored Classic, Tailored Black, Winter wOUDerland, and Winter Cocktail. Tailored Classic is my favorite of what i have so far, but they are all great. Tailored Black is Cedar, Birch wood oud, Winter Wouderland is exotic oud, pine needle, sweet tobacco, Winter Cocktail is Ginger ale. cranberry, bourbon. I love them all, The two Winters give me a fresh outdoors scent and fresh fruit scent but in two different ways. I recommend the two winters for you because there not as super strong as what you've already tried and you have Tailored Classic so you know that one...you know me i like the Tobacco Scents and i like Strong scents but in the 4 i have they arent super loud, but the scents last through the day which i like most. Thers also a Tailored White, which is not on the site, because it was a special for Black Friday if you bought i think $50 or more worth of product Scott included it...It is a Blueberry, Teakwood. Exotic Oud, bourbon ,amber, sweet tobacco..Im gonna see if i can ask Scott for a butter in it. Its not te overpowering Blueberry, its like a Blueberry Tobacco cologne...Talk soon-Pete
Wow Dan finally thank you!! Lol. I’ve been a huge fan of Scott and Tailored Beard Co. For months now! I have about 9 of his oils and 5 butters in amazing scents! Love how he has different types of Oud scents, and each smells different! His exotic Oud is my favorite, also birchwood Oud and Black Oud (strongest!). His tailored red- strawberry and black Oud you gotta try! I also have one of his 50% emu blend oil (tailored silver) which is outstanding. He did a limited run with emu oil blends (Green-bergamot Oud, Red- strawberry black Oud and the Silver tobacco double Oud which I have and love) and I think he plans on making the emu blend a choice for his oils in the future. The emu blend I have is milky white and I believe it’s 50% emu. I love his Tailored Classic and Tailored White*. The Tailored white he gave away free on Black Friday and I love it...it’s blueberry, teakwood, exotic Oud, bourbon, amber and sweet tobacco...amazing especially at night. His holiday scent is great called Winter Wouderland....Very nice blend of Exotic Oud, Pine needles and hint of sweet tobacco. Also, I just tried his co-wash literally came in yesterday lol and it’s amazing! He always sells out within minutes when he releases it. It’s Like no other cowash I’ve ever used... extremely light and smells amazing (exotic Oud) is the scent. But it’s a great price at 6.99$ 4oz and it’s the lightest cowash I’ve ever seen! Great because it’s so much easier at coating only my beard without getting any on my face. Most of all it left my beard the softest I’ve ever felt! It pairs well with the Iron Lion beard wash from DYBC for the scents (similar) except the Tailored cowash smell is pure exotic Oud and has more scent but not enough that it lingers when you wash it out. As you can tell I’m a big fan of Scott’s and Tailored Beard I think it’s amazing how far he’s come just this year. He has candles, just came out with that amazing cowash. Just by talking with him he definitely has big plans and the right mindset to get it done!!!
I base my buys off of Sam's first impression of every scent you guys review. Needless to say, so far I will be getting the superior man, lol. And lady's man.
There’s this weird thing happening again... I just taken interest in learning about Oud scents as of late (after hearing about the Holy Grail by Kingsmen) and have been watching a bunch of reviews on different Oud scented beard oil. Just 2 days ago, I stubble upon that company and I checked out their site and I was shocked at the amount of scents they have. Many seem to be in my palette as well or at least scents profile I’d like to try such as pineapple, lime, coconut.! And here you are again just putting out this great video on this company! Thanks again Dan!
Party Man is absolutely amazing. Love Tailored's whipped butters! You need the whipped butter in party man, perfect for night. I also have never liked amber.... of its hidden well in a scent I can deal with it haha.
If you don't sleep much, I suffer from the same thing. What I would recommend you take to help you sleep is a pill called Amitryptiline. It's an all in one antidepressant, muscle relaxer and also sleep aid.
I, too, am drawn to the hearing of the lavender scent. Currently I only have Lavender Grove oil from CBG, and Belle Isle Butter from Detroit. Maybe down the road I will pick up a bottle, but it is nice to know there is another quality Lavender based oil. 👍🏻
Awesome video Dan!!!!!! I've got a few bottles of Tailored Man 🤗 Loooooove me some Tailored. For sure a favorite company of my wife. Huuuuuuge line up of flavors to choose from too which is SUPER awesome. For sure has a scent for everyone 👊🏼🔥🔥🔥

Ive heard a whole lot about this company, and have actually got some of their product in shopping cart to order, but not sure what id like. This video helps
It could be that I'm boring since I usually only have one bottle on my shelf at a time. I'll buy a new one a week or 2 before I run out. I'll give this company a shot based on your wife's reaction to them. Thanks Mrs Bearded.
I switch up my scents but the Bossman Royal Oud Colotion (cologne/lotion) last all day long without reapplying. It also gets, by far, the most compliments. Women tend to really like it on me. 👍 I know Dan isn’t a fan of Bossman, but dang if it doesn’t get noticed. 🤣
Are you saying that when you use a grape seed heavy oil you NEED a good butter to make your beard feel better? Or just when you use both you really like the way your beard feels?
@@DeliberatelyBearded ok gotcha. Thanks for the input! I'm still trying to figure out what works best for my beard so I'm very interested in hearing about the experiences others have had with certain oils.
Just FYI for anyone watching this video in 2022 or later, this discount code is no longer valid, at least on orders $30 or more in the US ! I believe this is because he offers free shipping on all US orders $30 or more. This is still one of my go to companies and they are a top notch company and I highly recommend them! I have several of there scents and love them all!
Looked on their website and idk if they changed something but grapeseed oil is not on their list of ingredients and for me that's a win... not knocking it, just hate the idea of it going bad so soon...
When I can navigate the website, I see grapeseed #1. Pretty sure there was a recent Dan C video on that. Shea seems to dominate the butter. I'm sure it's a fine product. I bet the fragrance is swell. Personally, I'd like to see something extra. I'm not an expert, but this would be something I could sink my beard into: The oil: Featuring emu oil, black seed oil and squalane; backed up with CBD, meadowfoam seed oil and rosehip seed oil; finishing with moringa seed oil, marula oil and broccoli aeed oil; infused with saffron threads and 24-karat gold flakes. The scent: Ginger Hojicha. The bottle: 2oz glass bottle with good quality pump dispenser. The butter: Murumuru butter, kokum butter, emu oil, black seed oil, CBD, maracuja seed oil, tamanu oil, and barbary fig oil. Not whipped. The comb: Not a comb, rather a long hair-pick with a sandalwood handle and ox-horn teeth. Again, just spit-balling here.
@@DanCBearded Every oil I clicked on said the same. The following copied from party man. Is it because I'm Canadian? Oils: grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, jamaican black castor oil and lanolin oil. Conditioning: Medium/Heavy Hold: Lite Butters: beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, jamaican black castor oil, lanolin oil and hempseed oil. Conditioning: Medium/Heavy Hold: Lite/Medium Whipped Butters: shea butter, cocoa butter, hemp seed oil, grape seed oil, jamaican black castor oil, jojoba oil, lanolin oil and sweet almond oil.
@@DanCBearded Wait... I got to the bottom of it. On the website, the ingredients listed on the images are are different from the text in the description. That really needs to be corrected.
Dan i was unknowingly un-subscribed from your RUclips channel, not sure why? I noticed i wasn't getting your videos for a few weeks i thought you took a break from RUclips .
I get frustrated with Oud scents. Kingsmen Holy Grail has set my Oud bar so dang high, I expect THAT scent but in a different format/versions from other companies. The problem is Oud has so many different versions. It either smells like Kingsmen Holy Grail, Beard Octane Liquid Gold, or a rose smell, or something else that smells nothing like Holy Grail. New companies that offer Oud scents are like click bate for me. There's three Oud colognes I like. John Varvatos Oud that smells just like Holy Grail. Vince Comuto Smoked Oud, and Hugo Boss Bottled Oud. I'm stuck holding every other company to the scent standard of Holy Grail that I get disappointed with 95% of other Oud scents from other companies. It's frustrating, or more accurately, I frustrate myself.
Let's see, the easy one would be Holy Grail. Incense like in a Catholic Church, reminds me of the winter season around Christmas. Liquid Gold from Beard Octane is EXTREMELY similar to Gamblin' Man by Whiskey 'n Hardtack. It doesn't have that incense twist. It's softer, a little sweeter than Holy Grail.
@@KAEXspotter So John Varvatos Oud Smells like The Holy Grail by Kingsmen? You have no idea how long I've been searching for a cologne that smells like that!! Lkke how close would you say ghe cologne smells to the oil ?
My only comment regarding your scent reviews is, the initial "assault" on the nose when you sample the scent in-bottle may not be sufficient to really appreciate the complexity of the scent profile. Would it be possible for you to take one or more of the oils being reviewed and rub some of it between your hands and THEN review the scent? As we know, the friction warms the oil and makes it "give up" more of its complexity instead of getting the top notes of the scent when smelled directly from the bottle. Cheers!
Curious on your thoughts with the other positive review videos? There are others that RAVE about this company much more so than I do. Out of the scents, this channel relatively likes the least. You have been in streams on Dave’s channel and he speaks very highly of Tailored. No respect there either?

Just FYI for anyone watching this video in 2022 or later, this discount code is no longer valid, at least on orders $30 or more in the US ! I believe this is because he offers free shipping on all US orders $30 or more. This is still one of my go to companies and they are a top notch company and I highly recommend them! I have several of there scents and love them all!
Thanks Greg!
Just got some tailored beard oil in the mail today barber shop and tailored blue
Looked on their website and idk if they changed something but grapeseed oil is not on their list of ingredients and for me that's a win... not knocking it, just hate the idea of it going bad so soon...
In tailored blue he uses 2 different tobacco scents
Jersey up; beard up!!
Right at 6:00 I shake and then take the droper out and squeeze and repeat two times then put it on /in the beard.
That’s perfect!
Dang, I had to stop the vid and go order their Classic oil/butter. I'm such a sucker for barbershops.
I need to try this co. I been sleeping on my oils cause I have so many at the moment but so many hitters on this co.
I watched Piano Man about 15 times, I found your Piano Man song hilarious 😂
Just about spit out my water laughing when you said "I don't think anybody wants the smell of a cigarette in an oil." 🤣🤣🤣

When I can navigate the website, I see grapeseed #1. Pretty sure there was a recent Dan C video on that. Shea seems to dominate the butter. I'm sure it's a fine product. I bet the fragrance is swell. Personally, I'd like to see something extra. I'm not an expert, but this would be something I could sink my beard into:
The oil: Featuring emu oil, black seed oil and squalane; backed up with CBD, meadowfoam seed oil and rosehip seed oil; finishing with moringa seed oil, marula oil and broccoli aeed oil; infused with saffron threads and 24-karat gold flakes.
Someone else mentioned grapeseed oil first, but I do not see that anywhere. Bottle and website show sweet almond oil first. Where are you seeing that?
@@DanCBearded Every oil I clicked on said the same. The following copied from party man. Is it because I'm Canadian?
Oils: grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, jamaican black castor oil and lanolin oil.
Conditioning: Medium/Heavy
Hold: Lite
Butters: beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter, grape seed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, jamaican black castor oil, lanolin oil and hempseed oil.
Conditioning: Medium/Heavy
Hold: Lite/Medium
Whipped Butters: shea butter, cocoa butter, hemp seed oil, grape seed oil, jamaican black castor oil, jojoba oil, lanolin oil and sweet almond oil.
@@DanCBearded Wait... I got to the bottom of it. On the website, the ingredients listed on the images are are different from the text in the description. That really needs to be corrected.
@@stephenbayley1441 good catch! I'm guessing the labels are correct
Hahah! I need to discover what OUD smells like. I've never heard of it outside of beard oil.
Dan i was unknowingly un-subscribed from your RUclips channel, not sure why? I noticed i wasn't getting your videos for a few weeks i thought you took a break from RUclips .
Well I appreciate having you back!
Howdy Trusted one 👊
Tailored Silver in there emu blend is number 1 for me if your into that Oud STANK

Can you compare/contrast Holy Grail and Liquid Gold?
Let's see, the easy one would be Holy Grail. Incense like in a Catholic Church, reminds me of the winter season around Christmas. Liquid Gold from Beard Octane is EXTREMELY similar to Gamblin' Man by Whiskey 'n Hardtack. It doesn't have that incense twist. It's softer, a little sweeter than Holy Grail.
@@KAEXspotter Thank you!
@@e.m.8094 sure thing. As a side note, I don't dislike the oud scent like liquid gold. It's just for me, holy grail defined the oud scent for me.
@@KAEXspotter So John Varvatos Oud Smells like The Holy Grail by Kingsmen? You have no idea how long I've been searching for a cologne that smells like that!! Lkke how close would you say ghe cologne smells to the oil ?
Tailored beard company is oudtasic!! Lolol
Noice! 👍🏻
You should try a company called Baarden. Its a new company out of Canada.....one of my favorite new companies.
I have heard great things. Hopefully they reach out in 2021 👊
Nice 👌

Correct

My only comment regarding your scent reviews is, the initial "assault" on the nose when you sample the scent in-bottle may not be sufficient to really appreciate the complexity of the scent profile.
Would it be possible for you to take one or more of the oils being reviewed and rub some of it between your hands and THEN review the scent? As we know, the friction warms the oil and makes it "give up" more of its complexity instead of getting the top notes of the scent when smelled directly from the bottle.
Cheers!
Am I first?

Just a bearded salesman, no respect for the the video, but if this guy makes money may God Bless his commercials . The American way .
Mr Pennies back doing what he does best. I hope you get a hug today, I feel like you need some love in your life. Love you man!
Curious on your thoughts with the other positive review videos? There are others that RAVE about this company much more so than I do. Out of the scents, this channel relatively likes the least. You have been in streams on Dave’s channel and he speaks very highly of Tailored. No respect there either?
