Harry Styles's Pleasing Polish Set Unboxing/Review + Pop Up Shop Storytime

- If you don't know, Harry Styles is starting a skincare/cosmetic brand called Pleasing, and they had their first pop up shop in LA. With 20 minutes notice, I ran to get ready to get over to Studio City. At the truck they were only selling the Perfect Polish Set, so that's what I wound up getting. I'm a big nail polish fan, so I was curious to try these out. It's definitely the most high end nail polish I've ever used in my life.
But is it worth that price tag? Since it's still before the general sale, I figured I would show you what these colors look like IRL best I can and give a review of the polish itself with this unboxing and review. Hopefully this can help you decide whether it will be worth it to you. Also, I'm throwing in a little storytime about the Pleasing pop up itself and meeting Harry Lambert there.

Thank you so much for this honest review! I was SO close to ordering the nail polish set but thankfully changed my mind due to costing me around 100€ with shipping and tax and yeah definitely not worth it for me, sorry Harry! 😅
Also i think the marble caps are supposed to be taken off before application, at least that's what's shown on the website 😁
Oh I hadn't seen that! I actually found the marbles kinda useful, but that makes sense. I've definitely had nail polish bottles before that had caps within caps.
Honestly don't feel like you're missing out on much! That pricing is definitely absurd, but I totally get the impulse. I had planned on resisting til I was suddenly there in person

Haha i got mine a few days ago and painted them yesterday, I only did one coat and it was pretty thick. I did all my black with the pearly tops :) a I didn’t mind the price and I paid for it by myself (I’m in high school) with a job. I also just got Louis new merch. But I loved the nail polish. Also the white is really pretty idk I loved it all a lot. Overall I love my nail polish lmao and I cried when it arrived
The black is definitely the thickest/my favorite and the easiest to do one coat. I'm glad you love the polish!!!
I really want these to set out on my vanity. I would use them too but the bottles are so perfect !!! 😭💗

I got the Pearly Tops today and actually kinda like it. I felt like the brush was fine. Wonder how the wear will be. I used two coats and it is prettier than I thought it would be.
The pearly tops was definitely one of my favorites. I feel like Pearly Tops should last okay since it's not super bold. I hope it lasts better for you. My friends and I tried it with 2 coats plus a top coat and I made it maybe 2 days before It started chipping, but hopefully it'll last well for you.
@@LanieBrice - I’ve been fortunate. I did two coats - no top coat or base. It lasts chip free for almost 3 weeks. Very impressed!

Thank you for the honest review. I've been trying to purchase but it's not accepting for whatever reason. Honestly I'm kind of glad that it didn't go through. I feel the polishes are somewhat disappointing. I think I'll stick with my usuals.
That's so strange that it didn't end up going through, but you're honestly not missing much. There's not really a huge difference between these and the polishes I already owned for half the price or less.
Maybe Pleasing only ships to certain cities in your country? Maybe have a look up online or something to see if it ships to your town! 😊
Thank you for your honest review and try on. I want the sweatshirt and the stickers. The nail polish is over priced. I will wait for reviews of the skincare before buying anything.
The stickers are so cute!!! And yes, all of us in line at the pop up agreed we'd rather buy the crewneck than the nail polish. it's too bad they're not being sold

That pink color is coral
Yes! that's why I was so thrown off that it's only described as a pearlescent pink which doesn't feel super accurate
I hope you find a LA ticket. Maybe try on the day last minute? I know a few tickets have gone onto ticketmaster last minute. Or you could try resale sites and hope prices go down!
Thank you! Ticketmaster does seem to be releasing a couple every now and then but the official platinum pricing is 😆. Definitely keeping my eye out for a last minute miracle.

honestly love harry but this whole brand feels kinda like a cash grab. they don’t seem crazy high quality or innovative, and i feel like the price tag is just because fans will pay that :(
my friends all came over and tried it last night and didn't think it was high quality either. I guess technically they're free of some bad chemicals and ethically made, but tangibly they're no better (and sometimes worse) than brands I buy at the drug store. And yes, the price being well over double an average bottle really does not feel great. Considering his regular merch prices are some of the highest of any artist I'm not surprised but ya.

This is a weird collection and ridiculously priced. I’ve seen indie brands with way better pigmentation and cost less.
I completely agree. Even the premise of the brand is a bit chaotic and confusing, and the product isn't super well developed. It looked amazing on all of the employees at the pop up, but trying to use it at home was a different story.
