    Great advice! I am learning a lot. I started planting even before I had installed base infrastructure and lost all my crop to drought due to lack of water!

    Indeed you're a true Zambian. I feel the message was very patriotic. Your message was very clear. Very true, the more time you put in , the more the returns you get and vice versa.

    I have been in research mode for too long and i have started with tomato and red onion. Trouble I am having is to take up a job outside town where my presence at the farm will not be possible. I need the money quiet alright and still in the process of fencing and putting shelter, I am at cross roads.

    • @panukafarm156
      @panukafarm156  2 года назад +2

      Your dilemma is well noted. See if you can put together a good team for now so that you continue with your job and raise enough money for the farm. Just do not be too comfortable as you may keep donating to your farm with minimal progress due to your absence

    Brilliant and informative, practical !
    "You've got to use that energy responsibility" - my interpretation is that one should take a calculated risk when deciding to quiet full time employment and taking up full time farming.

    How much land do you need to pull it off? I'd like to transition over the next 5-10 years. We're on a 20 acre hobby farm in zone 8 right now.

    • @panukafarm156
      @panukafarm156  Месяц назад +1

      20 acre is pretty decent, you can do so many amazing things
