They’re using the weird lettering for past and future Pokemon as an allusion to the Paradise Protection Protocol, that’s how the dialogue in the Scarlet/Violet games appears when battling them.

not going to lie, the iron bundle and the iron moth cards from this set are the coolest in my opinion, probably not too playable, but they look amazing

In the carding game how do damage counters work
Each damage is 10 so when damage is on a Pokémon you can use dice/damage counter dice from ETBs to show the damage

These will likely have value in the future, their are tons and tons of collectors who love collecting Elite Trainer Boxes, I know of many people who always buy 1-2 ETBs every set and just keep em sealed and sit on them. Most people who play never even buy these as they are expensive for what they are most of the time.
