Have you ever dealt with a fire? Well, here's the short story then. YOU WET EVERYTHING SO THE FIRE CAN'T EAT THE DRY WOOD OR OTHER MATERIALS TO GROW,AS YOU THEN DROWN THE FIRE AT THE SOURCE. simple huh
I’d hardly call the pier, as it is today, a historical structure. While there has been a pier in that spot for over a hundred years, the current pier was only completed in 1987.
Their job is to keep the fire from moving under the pier weakening the structure holding the pier up and potentially spreading to other areas on the pier (like under all the firemen on the pier). And yes fire can move down just as easily as it moves up.
Wow! I’ve only been to California once visiting my sister in Anza, California and she drove me to the beach and this is the beach that she chose for me to visit. I can’t believe this. It was such a beautiful building and a beautiful beach there.😢
I wonder why a building this remote from services, was not quipped with a more than adequate sprinkler system. I also wonder why a building is necessary this far from shore.
Exactly what I was thinking. This looks like an electrical fire that burned upward from salt-corroded electrical lines that run along the underside of the pier.
They keep claiming that several departments were there. 🤷🏻♀️ However, all those “departments” were unable to do anything. Even the boats could only assist a little. The 1st helicopter came about 50 mins after the start. So sad 😢 They were definitely not prepared for such a situation which makes the response even more disappointing. Imagine if it was summer, full of tourists?! I live by the pier and saw it :(
It's really sad that they let this pier go to sh**! Of course it was purposely done, IMO. A few years ago, it was thriving and had great little diner at the end of the pier. There were pelican perches, and a few small stores. A fun attraction. Allegedly, the city must have deemed it unsafe?? Last summer, all there was was people fishing, you had to dodge hooks and fish guts and it was dirty, the smell of urine, gross! People need to pick up after themselves!!!
More then likely Terrorist attack Russian Subs have been all around our coast. Even this morning. Lazer fire flare. My guess. Like The Bridge. Like Hawaii. Wake up people!
They use vacant gov repo buildings like this for emergency response drills regularly. Classic drill/training right there. They need to stop allowing the media to broadcast them as real events, they've got everyone all confused and tricked worse than ive ever seen.
It's time to laugh. Who believes that those hoses are trying to save that burn? Now it's time to worry. Who believes that no one will be affected by it?
Maybe who ever owns it did the fire for the insurance, and with all. That water they might what to put it on the building thats burning and not every other places that don't need it
Not suspicious at all.
What makes you think it's suspicious?
Nothing suspicious, same as most California fires. Homeless people
Why does it look like they're throwing water on everything but the actual fire?
Have you ever dealt with a fire?

Trying to keep the pier from burning.
Containment is a strategy when extinguishing a fire. Your assumption is that it being in one location is wrong,
🤣🤣🤣 delete my post on the explanation.
you're just another stupid ass retard
Err, did you miss the term "vacant diner." Save the pier, the diner was already a loss.
A lot of memories on that Pier going back to 1968....
Oceanside. Brings back many memories of my old Marine Corps days.
No audio!
I have so many memories on that pier. So sad 😢
Smoke on the water.
"whatever you do, don't cross the streams!!!!"
Sad to see this, have many memories on that pier.😢
INSURANCE
O'side. Oceanside,Ca. pier is made of wood & other materials. trying to save the pier- near the Top Gun House 🙏🏼
I've been on that pier. In Florida we call that, pissin in the wind
That happened a few seconds right when I got to the pier to go fishing and they told me a fire had just started
I spent time enjoying the waves in Oceanside in the 80's.
It looks like most of the pier is fine.
Nothing like a surround and drown
That place is just bad luck. Glad I got to go out on it a couple times...

Sure are a lot of commenters here that think they know what they're talking about.
It's RUclips
Oh and your Einstein
@@cptbob100 Yep, sorry, you're correct.
@@mickeybarton9077 Doesn't take an Einstein to see people trying to criticize those who are actually doing the work.
It sucks to know that it is game on, and no one is fighting against the attack.
what attack
Are those walmart garden hoses?
"LET'S GO BRANDON!"
Investigate it, find the cause and finds ways to prevent this from happening again
Sure enjoyed the Ruby's burger and fries!
Owner trying to recover some of his money and run😂😂😂
One boat pee is to low ..

Why is it on fire underneath?

Wow stomped every inch of that pier there's still a few spots I'll try there!
Semper Paratus!!!! (USCGA class of '80)
It probably started in the attic.
Not easy to get to the fire, not when you could step in a hole and fall 20 feet into the ocean.
Ruby's Diner burnt down? NOOOOOOOOOOO 😮🥺😔
Seal Beach pier/Ruby's fire 2.0.
What is weird is that they are picking up water from a lake by me...
Why so much thick, black smoke? We thought it was an oil storage!
I see no black smoke in this footage.
it kind of is an oil storage because that's what they soak all of those logs in
Prayers to you & the Departments here from Wyoming 🦬
Prayer is important it reminds us that this s*** does happen and it has its impact.
°~•.☆.•~°
So who set the fire?
The sun
@novajtv because of climate change right 🤡🤡🤡

Probably trying to get that insurance money...
What insurance money they closed that place about a year ago
Someone must have knocked over a meth torch or camp stove.
Looks like a grease fire from the kitchen. Sad

this is NOT a terrorist attack. no way! no how! (we regret to inform you that the author of this comment was just struck by lightning. jk )
More then likely Terrorist attack Russian Subs have been all around our coast. Even this morning. Lazer fire flare. My guess. Like The Bridge. Like Hawaii. Wake up people!
There putting water every where but on the fire!!!!
To save the pier
😢😢😢😢
I used to work at the surf shop down the street renting boogie boards and surf board ….Left because of the Tweakerz
Shouldnt be that hard to roll out firehose, throw on some masks and enter the building
Does anyone else think they are taking out major infrastructures on purpose? Or is it just me??
They use vacant gov repo buildings like this for emergency response drills regularly. Classic drill/training right there. They need to stop allowing the media to broadcast them as real events, they've got everyone all confused and tricked worse than ive ever seen.
You mean that the flames we can all see are a drill? What have you been smokin'?
To all claiming insurance nope that place has been closed for about a year. More like the dumb homeless around there.
Insurance fraud. Savages!!!!!!
Coast Guard doing nothing as usual, the smaller boats doing more good.
Cause you know anything besides the McDonald's app
Terrorist attack?
Immigrant cook
Grease not removed from the exhaust on a regular basis.
О, мой почтовый ядерный голубь долетел, правда не с той стороны🤣🤣🤣
this would be a great design for homeless housing zones
The strand already is...
Easy to clean up . Just hose it off .
Is this the pier from gta
No
No, that's a little further north in Santa Monica
It’s in Oceanside down south, near by Camp Pendleton .
It's time to laugh. Who believes that those hoses are trying to save that burn? Now it's time to worry. Who believes that no one will be affected by it?
А чего такое? Со своей лживой пропагандой про "хорошую власть" на украине, забыли про свой народ в своей стране в своем континенте?
spy….
