Man I love this channel, I watch it all the time. hickock45 is like the bob ross of shooting videos. All that’s left is for him to say “and we’re gonna put some led on the gong... and that will be out little secret” great video and great channel keep up the good work. Hope you continue to heal fast.
It's a great day when you get to see Hickok45 shoot his favorite Colt single action revolver. What a beautiful peace maker revolver. Hickok45 for life.
Can't help but like it. Dad loved the revolvers. Pretty sure there's a picture of me holding one (with help) when I was 3 or 4. Started shooting them shortly after. 40 something years later ... love it.
I'm new to pistols after I inherited a Colt SAA .38 special. I LOVE shooting it! Thanks for the tip about leaving one out of the cylinder....very helpful!
Monday morning drinking my retirement coffee just Loving watching hickok45 shoot but shooting 45colt you started my day off great🇺🇸 Good Luck getting that cast off
Great video Hickok45... I truly love the channel... I've been watching your videos... Since the beginning when I got addicted to Firearms... My second true Love... The Single Action Army is truly a piece... I'd love to have in the collection... I have a special place in my Heart for Colts...
Great video hickok45, as always. I too really like the history behind great America guns. I love my single actions, all 7 of them; both cartridge and black powder.
I love your Colt SAA videos. I as well love and shoot them. I am a happy owner of 4 -2nd gen colts. 56,57,58 and 59 all have the original black box. I don't think the 58 has ever been fired however. I do have another 12 early 3rd and 4 late 3rd with removable cylinder bushing. All late 3rd are from 2007-2011 have never been fired. I love these Colts and really appreciate your videos.
Loving the hat. The Colt SA Revolver is a timeless piece. Who doesn't like a 45 LC or my favorite the 357 Mag? Heritage also makes nice holsters, that's where I got mine for the 357 Mag, I think it was maybe $60, can't remember.
A friend of mine has a Holster made by Arvo Ojala, the guy that James Arness shot, at the beginning of every Gunsmoke. Word is that it's worth as much as the Colt SAA that he carries in it.
I love that rig! Between the four clicks of the revolver and the creaking of the leather it is an addictive thing. You need a horse though. I have several Italian SAAs, one Colt. A LGS is getting a collection of Colts mid-October, I aim to get one if they aren't too dear.
Amen Hickok45 and I do own two Colt's a 3rd gen Colt SAA which I had the late great Bob Munden customize it for me and the Colt Cowboy Colt 45 which was made for 5 years which can be loaded 6 rounds safely of course !!! We ought to start a cult club for Colt SAA gun owners for us true Colt fanboys Hickok45 !!!
Looks like it's sticking a bit in the holster. The brand of CC holster I use(no plug) recommends Renaissance micro-crystalline wax and it works great, dries in seconds and smooths the draw.
While you are one-handed, you should do a video on the Schofield. I think you probably did this in the past when you had two hands, but the Schofield was designed to be used with one hand. It was for the Calvary and was intended to allow the soldier to operate it with one hand, leaving him a hand to ride the horse with. You don’t have a horse but you can check out the one-handed idea.
im allways looking for another single action in 357 tho i made the mistake of owning a 44 40 before had to find ammo for it ps take an xtra week off from skateboarding after the cask comes off just to make sure lol glad ur feeling better and thank u again for all the hard work
My dad has the exact same one, we got it for him for Christmas. Just wanted something to shoot pigeons and squirrels off the deck with. We might have to upgrade him to at a .22LR though lol. More expensive to buy than a pellet gun but might be cheaper to shoot in the long run; once you punch one of those CO2 cartridges you pretty much have to shoot the whole thing out because if you shoot 15 times and put it down for tomorrow, then it’s all leaked out and you have to put a new one in.
notforsale today Yeah, it’s a Umarex. It’s great, and accurate. At least the pellet version is accurate. I hear the B.B. version isn’t as good. I used to play around with my Grandad’s Colt peacemaker (2nd gen.), but when he died my Uncle brought it with him to NC.
crankenstein20 The CO2 isn’t really a problem with leaking., as long as you use a drop of pellgun oil every other cylinder, and only use one brand of CO2, it keeps the seals in good shape. The top can vary slightly between crosman and Daisy/Umarex cylinders, which won’t seat as well once the seal conforms to a certain type. I can keep a cylinder in for two weeks, or longer without losing pressure.
When you mentioned the Navy Colt I remembered about how the real Hickok "Wild Bill Hickok" had a pair of Navy Colts tucked into his sash when he was murdered in that saloon. I have no proof one way or the other but I've always heard the Navy Colt was also his pistol of choice.
How can you not love this man?
She's definitely a beaut @hickok45 The sound of the cylinder "clicking" alone is heavenly. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Life is good.
Glad you are on the mend Mr. Hickok.
Only Communists would dislike Mr. Hickok's videos.... I love the history lesson and real life pieces of art. Thank you for the amazing videos!
How is the proletariat supposed to stage a common man workers' revolution without firearms?
Revolver Ocelot memories...lol. Great video of the real deal!
12 shots...
@@LeSagouinfre More than enough to kill anything that moves!
You tend to twist your elbow to absorb more of the recoil. That's more of a revolver technique. You're pretty good.
However that WAS some fancy shooting
Someone didn't get the reference, lol
This would be " The funny lookin ranger with the big iron on his hip" Thanks Hickok, John.
Thanks for talking about quick draw shooting. Nice to hear people are still doing that and with an eye to safety.
Ocelots are proud creatures. They prefer to hunt alone.
6 bullets more than enough to kill anything that moves
You're pretty good
Shalashaska Hickok

My guy Hickok still shooting on point with one hand.. I love this guy
I love my Colt 45's!
It's a great day when you get to see Hickok45 shoot his favorite Colt single action revolver. What a beautiful peace maker revolver. Hickok45 for life.
Colt single action army gen 2 it just doesn't get any better. I'm so glad I have one, cos nothing else will do. God bless Sam Colt and Hickok 45.
Can't help but like it. Dad loved the revolvers. Pretty sure there's a picture of me holding one (with help) when I was 3 or 4. Started shooting them shortly after. 40 something years later ... love it.
Sic bro!! My grand father left me one from 1956!! I didn’t no that’s when the gen 2s started!!! Thanx Hickok!! U and ur boy r top shelf Americans!!
No one dared to ask his business. No one dared to make a slip. The stranger there among them has a big iron on his hip.
A big iron on his hiiiiiiiiiiiip
Biiiig iiirooon, big iroon!
Dear all y’all Tennessee gun shooting bosses. Hydroplane loves you. And Hickok45
I have had single action 45 I love every one of them they shoot good and they're easy operate
Glad to see you are slowly getting better. We will all be glad to see you with two good hands!
Pure Gunvana with these old classics.
The cowboy hat clashes with the cargo shorts and the Sneakers. Good thing Mr Hickock had a handsome gun to distract my fashion sense
I'm new to pistols after I inherited a Colt SAA .38 special. I LOVE shooting it! Thanks for the tip about leaving one out of the cylinder....very helpful!
Check the value of that .38 Special SAA. It may surprise you.
"This is the greatest handgun ever made. The Colt Single Action Army. Six bullets. More than enough to kill anything that moves."
Well he does the John Wayne load and shoots five for safety.
Sky Fly gotta admit my favorite shooter is 1851 cap and ball. 6 from that should also be enough to put a bad guy or two 6 feet under.
I know I didn't create this saying, he mentions it as such in one of his older videos.
You're... pretty good!

Gorgeous single action army and wonderful video, thank you!
“i’m gonna go down here and shoot something!”😂 bout one of the funniest lines i’ve heard from him
I have to say your have one of the best job's in the world...👍
Awesome gun. I have a cheap 200 dollar colt cowboy and its one of my favorites to shoot.
Loving the hat. The Colt SA Revolver is a timeless piece. Who doesn't like a 45 LC or my favorite the 357 Mag? Heritage also makes nice holsters, that's where I got mine for the 357 Mag, I think it was maybe $60, can't remember.

One of the most fun guns to shoot! I love my Uberti "Colt Clone" in 45LC.
I love that rig! Between the four clicks of the revolver and the creaking of the leather it is an addictive thing. You need a horse though.
I have several Italian SAAs, one Colt. A LGS is getting a collection of Colts mid-October, I aim to get one if they aren't too dear.
Ahhh...the 2nd generation of the Peacemaker..the year I was born..nice piece!
Wild Bill Hickok carried 1851 Navy Colts. Fist bumps 👊👊👊👊👊, high fives/pats on the back ✋✋✋✋✋
I really enjoy watching you shoot. Like that hat, I have one just like it. Hope it makes me shoot as well as you, Hickock!
its high noon.........time to "smoke" some pot.
if you got this then yes you watch hickok45's videos
I love how it sounds when you shoot it.
Red Dead Redemption 2 looks pretty good!
I didn't know the original Clot 45 cartridge had an integral primer.
Metallic, centerfire cartridges were standard well before 1873
Didn’t see a removable primer at all though. Reloading then must be a serious task.
@@1014p not really. Standard reloading equipment can easily remove the primers and install new.
Brings new meaning to hardcast
This video made me realize how desperately the world needs a Hickock QuickDraw video.
The noise of the gun so dope
All these colt videos make me want to get one. I have a few Ruger Super Blackhawks, but I do love those colts.
Kyle Stofko rugers are cool but i like the old fashion sights of the original style colts
My Dad has a Colt that looks just like that in .22 cal. First gun I ever shot!
One of my favorite pistols
The most dangerous one-armed bandit, this one won't just put you in debt
Amen Hickok45 and I do own two Colt's a 3rd gen Colt SAA which I had the late great Bob Munden customize it for me and the Colt Cowboy Colt 45 which was made for 5 years which can be loaded 6 rounds safely of course !!! Big iron on his hip
Zo
Biiiiiiiiiiig Iron
Old lefty, on the wild West.. Great video mr. HICKOK
Colt saa...That's my favorite sidearm in BF1. THE PEACEKEEPER!
Looks like it's sticking a bit in the holster. The brand of CC holster I use(no plug) recommends Renaissance micro-crystalline wax and it works great, dries in seconds and smooths the draw.
One of my favorite westerns is John Wayne's Rio Lobo. I also like Big Jake, they are a few more but can't think of the names.
Hello, Mr. Hickok45, get well, you're the Best in the business, absolutely. Your admirer from Russia.
"Have you ever seen anything even close to that pretty?"
Yes - a Uberti Cattleman.
While you are one-handed, you should do a video on the Schofield. I think you probably did this in the past when you had two hands, but the Schofield was designed to be used with one hand. I thought about that. Might do it.
Camera work on point good stuff
“Greatest pistol ever made”-Revolver Ocelot
Will be a pleasure to see you shooting with both hands again. 😊 not that you need it!
Man that's a beautiful gun.
Original bullet was super cool collector piece.

I wish I could afford a real Colt SAA .45. For now I have a .177 pellet version licensed by Colt.
Umarex? I'm looking at those. Do you like yours?
My dad has the exact same one, we got it for him for Christmas. Just wanted something to shoot pigeons and squirrels off the deck with. We might have to upgrade him to at a .22LR though lol.
