Very few shot scifi films get me hooked to watch from start to , this is one of those films . This was an awesome film and i wish it had been longer . Acting was great , story line was great hell the whole thing was perfect from start to finish
Great short film! I was hooked from beginning to end. I could honestly see this as a real sci-fi franchise. I know someone thought the acting in this was terrible but it's definitely way better acting than most home made films honestly. Great work once again. 10/10.
Great film. The issue of the missing magazine is pointless. This is about people. And the actions and interactions were believable and well executed. Thank you!
Actually things missing like that make the whole thing seem cheap and take the immersion away. It also has a safety that he never disengages. Details matter if you want to tell a good story.
To all of the negative comments about the rifle. This was filmed in Canada. They have very strict gun laws. He can't carry a fully functional semiautomatic rifle. Get over it. It was a great video.
Canadians can still have a magazine in the rifle but it has to be pinned to accept 5 rounds. They also have access to prop guns for movies that look and feel like the real thing but are not capable of loading or firing a live round. So.. They could have been a bit more accurate on a prop that was very prominately displayed in the film.

Really well done. It made you care about the characters quickly. Character development was smoothly done. At first he resented the woman and the girl because they represented their war being brought to where he was. Part of being a good man is an inclination to protect those less able than yourself. He saw that the little girl needed him and he stepped up and did what he could to help her. Good story telling in a short time. A+

The creator has achieved the unachievable in the portrayal of the bonding between a grown man and a beautiful young blonde girl with long hair, without any sexual connotations. In today's day and age, this is a most unusual event and the creators deserve a prize. One piece of lack of continuity regarding logistics is the night time scene when the girl holds a cindering twig as a weapon of defense, when she had been given a pistol and was walking around with it all day, carrying it in her right hand.
Not bad overall, just a couple of funny things that are prop related, the AK47 had no magazine, and when he gets shot right outside the ship, when you get a close up of the weapon used at 13:53, its a Daisy BB gun!
Oni Chi, That's not exactly standard military doctrine; that's hollywood. Zig zag running just makes you a target for longer especially when you change direction.
Whoever made this needs to learn about props and what they are supposed to look like. The guy is carrying an AK that has no mag in it so can't even fire. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That was excellent! So often the shorts are exactly that: short on plot, short on depth and very short on resolution.
This was a giant of a short!

beautiful short with really great suspense. the short sci fi got me addicted lately, i grew to enjoy them more than long hollywood flicks. kudos 👍
