I am also same age as you, 37 and single (probably intend to stay so for rest of my life). I left my corporate job last year June, which I was paid quite a high salary of over 10k monthly. Now I am driving PHV, just to pass time and earn some daily income. I am considered barista fire, as also similar to you my high income over the years in the past and investments helps me built a substantial nest egg already and I just want to leave the rat race and enjoy life over earning more $$. Hope you can find your right path too!
You should probably go for the interview if that’s your wish. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with the firm and the reasons for leaving are a lot more about me 🥲
oh i thought u are around 25. i like your contents. very insightful . you are one of my fav financial influencer. wish u all the best for next chapter.
Regardless of what path you chose you take from this point onwards, it's probably a good good opportunity reset from your routine and a good chance to get a better hold on what's gonna be more important to you for the next stage of your life. I think many people got the feeling that their work is no longer fulfilling for them but they simply don't have the courage to step away and start anew. It's also a privilege that you have the financial stability to have a choice going forward (i.e. don't have to immediately start another full-time job to put food on the table). That's all results of good financial planning you've done in the last decade of your working life. I think it's also a good lesson for all of us in a way :) Goodluck going forward bro, whatever you choose to pursue.
Hi there, first of all I want to thank you for the very thoughtful comment. I did not expect to get such a considered response to my yapping 😅 Appreciate your kind words and best of luck to you too 🙏
Hahah funnily enough I have been self employed for like 13 years until I got this full-time job. But yeah excited to be back to self employment! Thanks for the nice words!
Hello 👋 I’m curious why do you leave Provident? How about joining FA? I also did a career change last year to FA from accounting and also doing tuition full time and teaching in school too
I have spent at least a decade in both FA and tuition 😅 Will probably do a video on the reasons why I left if there is enough demand for it. Thanks for the comment!
if you do choose the driving option, please document it! It's such a struggle going through the school route cos it's almost impossible to book lesson slots...
I opine that it will be better to go through the private driving instructor route though the number of such instructors is dwindling and even becomes extinct.
Actually you might be able to take more jobs like going for finance related events since you are now working full time with content creation. As for mid career support for taking degree or diploma, you can work it out with SSG on how you can get support given that you are slightly below 40 yo.
its sad to hear that you lost your job in this competitive market. However i would like to encourage you to get your full time job first before being self employed at least you are still stable.
Trust you make decision for your better future. Wish you all the best to next venture... (The car stock video is hell...but I like 😂 (And I'm still interested to know the reason of leaving 😂

Not true la, they don’t need me for that at all because my reach isn’t big and my demographic is very different from theirs. Also, they are conscionable and won’t do something like this. As mentioned I wasn’t happy in my role so I initiated talks of leaving.
@@Sethisfy yeah but you will need alot more energy to recover once you do extrovert-related stuff..hence innately you are still an introvert..cause im like that too.
@@Sethisfy i don't have all the facts obviously. But it seems you have a good boss and helping others in managing their money is interesting. Perhaps you were asking for too much from the job.

37 is still young. Just do the things you enjoy doing. It's time to enjoy the fruits from the many years of hardwork and brute savings.
Thank you for the advice. Definitely going to take a while to take stock and take a breather 🙏
dont worry. you will find one if you look hard enough

Sigh I already very lazy to do it and it feels even more sian hearing this hahaha. Will try to document, thanks for the idea!
I opine that it will be better to go through the private driving instructor route though the number of such instructors is dwindling and even becomes extinct.
Am interested why you left Providend as I thought it was the type of firm that suited you
Guess I really need to do this video 😅
I thought you had tuition center, do you not have the tuition business anymore?
I'm curious to know why you left Seth?
Your curiosity is noted with thanks haha. Will probably be a >10 min video on its own 😮💨

Haha thanks for the advice and comment. I should be okay with being self-employed cause it’s not something new to me ☺️
How is the sales of your apartment?
Why you left ? 😮
Providend have unrealistic sales targets?
The KPIs are alright. Definitely not a reason for my departure.
Please update us why you left!

okok we are close to the arbitrary number of comments I have in mind for that video to happen hahaha 😆
Why do you feel the need to get your viewers state if they want to know your reason of resignation? Can’t you state the reason spontaneously?
No

Ok
