- In this Pokemon cards opening I opened an entire booster box of the first Pokemon cards ever made. Released between the years 1995 & 1997 these are the oldest Pokemon card designs and can contain some incredibly rare and expensive Pokemon cards inside.

I have a theory why certain cards are Red, Green, or both colors. Could be an indicator of which Pokemon are available to catch in the Red and Green versions. Remember Red and Blue how you could only catch certain Pokemon in either Red or Blue, while others were catchable in both versions. This could be the case with these cards. Love the old Sugimori art!

Was thinking the same thing. Which if true, that means you could only get Charizard in the Japanese Red Version, which would be crazy 😂
@@PacManD3 they probably made the Charizard line red and Venusaur line green because they’re the box art for those games

Gum doesn’t really expire, if you eat a piece of gum past the expiration date if there is one, the worst thing that could happen is u eat a brittle and flavorless piece of gum

I feel like those strips to open up the packs would be extremely useful nowadays. (Some packs can be such a struggle to get open at times.)
Not only that but it would help to prevent people from selling re-sealed packs as well.

I have two topsun booster packs in my collection and I love them.
Fun fact, these were in corner stores and the point of the gum was to entice kids to ask their parents to buy them

ive always seen the logo for the og first thing of pokemon cards but this a first for me where they use gum with 2 cards a pack, love it.

Best artwork ever! I wonder if the color of the background determines the version they are in. The vulpix and bellsprout lines were green version exclusive and their cards were fully green.
