Idk... maybe the fact he got wheat and seeds and maybe because of the coding for the circle he got extra seeds and he just threw that extra stack away.... idk I'd say you should use your brain and think about why it happened logically...
And if you look at that stack it's on the same spot of the bar as the original 27 seeds before he got up to a stack and 48 seeds and he planted more down. He would need every bar for useful items so he doesn't need that many seeds. Yeah...
