We have the Zoom H1 and we love it. www.amazon.com/Zoom-Handy-Portable-Digital-Recorder/dp/B003QKBVYK/ We got this wind screen and works perfectly. www.amazon.com/Movo-WS1-Microphone-Windscreen-Microphones/dp/B00HX40OL6 It works best as a separate recorder (as opposed to feeding the sound to the cam) but that takes more time making sure you catalog the files and do a standard clap before each take to facilitate the sound-video sync. Great audio quality even when extremely windy.

You guys really need to get a wind filter for your camera, it would make a huge difference.
get a wind sock. I got one for the mic and it got much better. Fake rabbit fur or something I think

Ok I see. Nettles look like no joke. My wife has been stung by a jelly before while swimming. Not fun at all. Steer clear for sure!
