In this episode we sail to one of our favorite destinations yet, Cuttyhunk, MA. For more sailing content, check out our blog at www.returntoseasons.com.
If you look to the most far eastern part of the island, you can see three structures and what appears to be an airfield. I knew the owner's daughter from college, and we "flew" to Cuttyhunk and landed on that dirt/sand strip. It was to say the least, a '"pucker" moment..... Spend 3 days there, explored the island as you did, and took the ferry back. Not sure if it is still owned by the same family, runway looks to be in dis-repair.
Thanks for the tour of Cuttyhunk. I was there years ago but never did go ashore - so this was a real treat! The anchorage was crowded when I was there but I'll always have fond memories of the island. Great job on the video!! Ron
Hi Jeff - sorry I never made it to Rock Hall. I did end up going to the Boat show on Saturday with the Sea Scouts. Hopefully, I'll be able to meet up with you and Margret some other time. Ron
One of our favorite locations. We've spent two weeks there before on the hook and was one of our best vacations. Beth even helped pain the church. As you found on a nice weekend you have to get their early otherwise it's all filled up. We've counted 18 boats on anchor there before and you hope there isn't a major wind shift at night. Great video! Really enjoyed watching it.
Thank you for doing such a nice vlog about Cuttyhunk. I own a home on Cuttyhunk and obviously love the island, too. Next time you cruise to Cuttyhunk, I would love to show you some island hospitality.
Thanks, CapWalks1. Cuttyhunk is definately one of our favorite places and we hope to be back there again in the summer of 2019. We would love to get together and learn more this amazing place. Please keep in touch - Margaret and Jeff

Interesting. I loved the oyster delivery. But haven't seen anyone write a cheque in years over on this side of the pond. Very quaint:-)
thanks for sharing a wonderful video and commentary
Thanks for watching!

Hi Ron - Thanks for the comment. Yes, it is a really fun place to visit. Too bad you did not get ashore. Maybe next time?
