    When it comes to TOP Valorant highlight videos, we like to do things differently compared to other highlight channels on youtube. First of all myself, like to edit the thumbnails/clips with funny memes and back ground music. The editing allows me to add value to the clips while showing my creativity, how they are either fail, epic or funny moments. This gives the watchers a deeper understanding of what is going on in the clips. By editing the clips myself and giving them "my own touch" I am able to present a more fast paced and enjoyable experience for the viewers.
    While editing I add music to the clips in the video. On top of that I edit and cut the videos to fit my style of content, on top of that I am a big fan of adding memes and other relevant gimmicks to provide a better overall experience for the viewers.

    I mean, it could just as easily be that coaching decided to try new things out and put Tenz on a role/trajectory he's not as comfortable with. If your player is lacking confidence or gets his confidence shook easily... maybe don't redirect them to entry duelist. Being the best player on your team doesn't mean you'd be a better entry duelist over a support duelist.
    I think they just need to give him more flex duties. He has really great game sense and adaptive reactions. He can help fill in where the team needs it.

    I watched the video but the video seemed to more like "TenZ is to blame for everything" type of video. Sideshow did make valid points though and I get it the video is about TenZ but his videos also showed flaws as a team in general which could be because of coaching and IGL calls and not just TenZ himself. TenZ does need more confidence though IMO, he's underestimating himself. I think TenZ feels like people expects too much from him and if he doesn't perform to the level where he wants to be, he feels down and loses focus. The coaching staff needs to build his confidence up but I still heckin love TenZ.

I don't blame him for just blocking it all out and listening to the coaches on his team.

      @@boyofin-j5gstop blaming it on the fans. the narrative that "haters" made him play bad is getting really old now. Every player will be scrutinised and criticised no matter how big or small because they are in a tier 1 scene after all. Even a good coach will give criticise players because they need to learn and adapt. His bad performances mainly stems from his poor criticial thinking skills and he knows it himself. He cant make plays for himself, rather he only can listen to ideas from his teammates. Usually players who rely heavily on their aim will crumble. Even when he did CS it was the same. If he was gifted in movement and fluidity of the game he can play Raze, but he also lacks in that department. You basically have a player who is only cracked in the aim department and need to build a team around him to compensate his heavy flaws. I doubt he will succeed if he dont improve on his own. And sideshow is not even a "hater". Hes giving very valid criticisms. if hes gonna let his fragile ego get the better of him then its gonna be CS all over again. its a team game.

    Looks like a role change for Tenz is coming next year. If he's still playing that entry role next year on Sentinels then I have no trust in the coaching staff. Tenz himself has literally just said he doesnt want to be first entry, he could be a good second entry considering his aim is nuts. But if you saw in Sideshow's video, there were times where he wasnt even in position to be second entry/be that trade fragger, maybe it changes next year? Although I do believe Sideshow's point of Tenz relying on his skill is true, thinking his aim is going to bail him out in shit positions.
    Also like Tarik said, you dont know what the comms are like, so maybe that is why Tenz is out of position sometimes? Hard to say.
    But what is worrying here is that Tenz has said his mental is weak, buddy... youre a professional player, criticism comes with being one (especially if youre such a big name).

    To be fair, even though Ive seen the critique video, and it has a lot of valid points, it also has a lot of bad opinions that are just that - opinions. TenZ is the problem and needs to improve, he's probably the biggest liability out of all the pro players, but again, the proof was in the critique video, but a lot of the times sideshow just didnt understans the deeper macro gameplan and blamed TenZ for actually doing what he was supposed to.
    I know from experience how infuriating and unhelpful this is, I played a few T2/T3 tournaments sponsored by Riot, and when we wouldn't be winning them, the casters would theorize and analyze them, completely unaware of what the actual comms and situation was like. Its just annoying hearing people who dont understand how deep a strategy or read goes, share their opinions, when they have the entire view of every single player at any moment. No shit, if we saw the same thing they did, the play would be obvious, but theres 50steps before the enemy team does to conceal the play theyre making, so if you miss out on a single part or info, it gets hectic.
    Point is, it was a good video, but in reality even a low rank like Asc could spot all those obvious things when watching a vod. Now watch the players perspective only and give your opinion on the correct play, theyd be giving the dumbest plays possible since its not as obvious at that point.

    • @190daes
      @190daes Год назад +3

      It's a good video but I agree with what Tarik said, Sideshow doesnt know what is going on in the comms and that could have a role in why Tenz is doing certain things when he plays.

      @@190daes exactly, theres a thing my coach used to always say - you could be the best player in the world, if you're playing with golds, you're gonna play like a gold too. A great example is if your teammate pushes a smoke, if you dont attempt to refrag that you're making a mistake, so the right play is to double up on your teammates mistake and try to salvage the situation, even though most likely both of you just die and the round is over. In pro play or high ranks, if you dont refrag, round is most likely over anyway.
      What im trying to say is that a lot of those mistakes he does were just him being put in a non win situation. This doesnt mean he doesnt make mistakes, a blind man could see how many he makes per game, hence why he's the biggest liability, but its the coaches job to fix them and understand why those mistakes are happening. It might be an overall team issue, not comming every single piece of info in a game can lead to bad decisions from players. Theres a lot of depth in the game that commentators will never understand, unless they go and solo grind into Radiant. Even then, they wouldnt understand pro play since its way more organized and methodical, unless they join a team and play some official events. Its fun and entertaining, but obviously not useful to the players or people who know the game better.
