DIY Ancient Chinese Hair Accessories | Qing Dynasty Hair Pins |

I made this hair accessory to match my daughter’s Chinese New Year outfit.
It was inspired from the Qing Dynasty hairstyle where Manchurian women styled their hair by dividing a handful of hair to each side of the head. Hence it is said 两把头 (liangbatou), literary means two heads. Liangbatou also know as 旗头(qitou) or flag head.
